Well, I'm way behind on my Magic Cards lately so I'm going to be spending today looking up all the latest cards.

Regardless of how that turns out, this topic is for conversations that involve Magic: The Gathering! While this may not be necessary because of the chatbox, this place is good for posting longer posts, such as decklists or strategies.

In fact, the reason I made this is mostly for me to share my decklist strategies and get the opinions of others, though I'm not sure how many other people here play Magic, I fully intend on playing competetive soon if I can get around to saving some money for it, which could be profitable if I can get a good deck going.

The problem is I'm a set behind, having not bought any new cards since the the first Scars of Mirrodin set, and in that case I only bought a Starter Deck.

But less on me and let us get to the topic. Again, this is mostly for decklists and strategies surrounding them. While I do intend on playing competetive I'm also going to be posting my casual decks which will have cards from all sets mixed in to the point where they'd only be legal in Vintage and Standard.

So, let the conversations begin!

Alright, I have a couple of questions about planeswalkers because I want to be certain if I'm using them right or not.

First off, can they activate an ability the turn they are put down?

Can they activate an ability during an opponent's turn? And if they can, do you lose the ability to use it your next turn, or do you have to have already missed a turn of using it?

They don't tap right?
