"Hey there!" and instead of leaving her or telling her to move, you move in to actually befriend her. "What are you doing here?" a soft smile. "And what's your name?"

"Eye'm freezing frogs!" the blue-haired girl turns your way, her hands locked on her waist.

"But why are you freezing frogs?"

"It's fun!"

"You think it's fun to freeze frogs?"

"Eye do! Do you wanna try it lady?"

"...Uh.."

Well, normally you don't participate in this kind of behavior. Then again, you were the kind of girl to take chances and try different things. "Alright, I will." you sigh and stand up. You grab a charm and inscribe a spell on it. Hopefully, it freezes the frog.

"Eye got it! Eye'll go find one!" and then the ice fairy darts off, only to return two seconds later with a frog in hand. That's already frozen.

"That one is already..."

"Eye know!" Cirno leaves again, and comes back. On the way, she drops the already frozen frog. It breaks upon impact to the ground. She comes back, frog already frozen... once again.

"That one is-"

"Yeah yeah!" She leaves, comes back with another, drops it, dead frog.

"That one is-"

"Eye know! Do you want to dance with the fairies, lady!?" she says something that doesn't sound very nice. It was her own dumbself that kept dropping the frogs, anyway...

"Accidentally" fire a charm in her direction, close enough to clip her wings, but not close enough to actually hurt her.

[]"I can't dance!"

"Err.. I can't dance, but sure?" that was really the only answer you could come up with. Cirno, with a smile on her face, falls back and floats above the lake, the water below her freezing over in an instant.

"Eye'll show you eye'm the strongest! I'll freeze you and package you with some English bread!" the young fairy flies higher into the air, holding both hands toward you.

Wait, why was she getting ready to fight you? There was no reason to fight. You just said she was dropping frogs and stuff, and now this?

"Uh.. why are you going to fight me?"

"You said you wanted to dance! Eye'll make the Prismriver's jealous and prove that eye'm the smartest too!"

Prismriver's...? Whoever they were, this had nothing to do with music. You shake your head from side to side. "N-no please-"

"PUT UP YOUR DUKES!" and then Cirno began to blast you with icicles. What a lovely conversation.

This little fairy was going to be a bit of trouble. As if it was second nature, you leap back in a blur to avoid the oncoming ice. Your body lifts itself into the air.

"Alright, we're going to dance? Let's dance!" you swing the naginata and out comes a stream of orange, circular danmaku not-unlike the sun. They dance in a spiral as they fly toward the blue fairy. Cirno, inresponse, flies higher into the air to avoid them.

"[Ice Sign] Icicile Fall!" and then, as the spell card dictates, large icicles appear and fly straight at you at alarming speeds. This was nothing, mind you, as you quickly dive under the oncoming frozen water. You swing the naginata three times, firing more waves of danmaku at the fairy. She dodges it by flying even higher into the air. "Eye'll freeze you good!" she brings up both arms and legs and then releases the built up 'energy'. There, hundreds upon hundreds of blue-danmaku storm straight at you.

You fly forward and above the lake to try and reach the ice fairy. You swoop down and to the side, avoiding any shots that may harm you. Oh crap! One from above, but you fly back in order to avoid it. A dozen come straight at you, but you perform a barrel-roll to evade their path.

This was getting annoyting.

You continue to weave in and out, dodging the danmaku bullets as best as you can. There, Cirno flies lower to the ground, floating only a few feet above the lake water. Just below her feet it freezes over immediately. "[Freeze Sign] "Perfect Freeze"!!" she yells as, well, a large expanding field of ice came forth. Such a tenacious fairy.

Alright, that was it. No more screwing around. "Crimson Sun: Wrath of Amaterasu!" your body blasts with a white light. Immediately, twenty spheres of heat swirl around you. Another twenty, and then twenty more. They kept coming as if they never stop. Soon, the tiny spheres make up a larger one around you. The ice meant to freeze you immediately melts upon contact.

"W-w-w-w-ah!?" Cirno flies backward. There was no escape. The spheres, which 'look' as though they were around you actually went to the opponent. A trick of the eye and light manipulation, a specialty of yours. You simply wave to Cirno from beyond the balls of death surrounding her. They close in around her at light speed...

They hit her over and over again, racking up amazing numbers. After so many repitions, the spheres explode in unison. A large pillar of fire bursts forth and situates itself in the middle of the lake. "A-ahh..." Cirno, half-baked, falls into the lake. Luckily for her, the water freezes over, giving her a place to land.

You descend to the ground and land feet first on the grass.

Alright, the fairy was down for the count. You doubt she'll be coming back up from that. But, that was the strongest ranged attack in your arsenal and it may have been what some may call 'overkill'. You cringe abit, imagining how that probably HURT. "Uh.. are you okay?" you leap into the air and make your way on over to the ice slab. You're careful not to touch the young fairy, and you stay at a distance.

"Eye'm fine!" Cirno pushes herself into the air and begins to float. Wow, stubborn indeed. Her hair was still smoking, which shouldn't be possible since she's an Ice Fairy and all. But, still, it was steaming hot. "That didn't hurt at all! Haha! Eye'm truly the greatest!" and even when she was VERY clearly beaten, she still struts with pride. She was either admirable or stupid, you were betting on the latter.

"I see, I see, then I'll just be on my way." you leap off the ice and float, with haste, over to land once more.

"Eye told you! Eye win!" Cirno declares so even when the obvious proof that YOU won is burning on her head. Wait, wait. This fairy, you've never seen her before. What was she doing in Taiyou, let alone inside the village?
