Magic Versus Technology - No Longer exclusive!

In a world of Magic and insanely future tech, there are forests of fairies and major futuristic cities with flying cars. Magic and Technology have never been able to get along, but now it has been escalating lately.

Wars have broken out, and we see sorcerers going out and fighting mechas, and cyborgs fighting with ninja.

There are two main leaders, Jace on the Magic side leads most of the actual armies, and Jeff leading the largest Mecha Army.

The war has shown no signs of slowing down...

Bio: Causa is the third magically created clone, with cloning powers, created to produce cheap soldiers.

Appearance: Long, ebony colored hair, soft as silk, with a pale face and sharp grey eyes, almost silver. When provoked or using her power, they turn glacier/ice blue. She has a thin body, with long legs, and tends to either wear loose, flowing dresses and skirts, or tight skinned pants made from the fibers of plants (yet look realistically like animal leather/hide). Her shirt is generally loose as well, seeing as to her need for a lot of movement in casting spells.

Weapons/Items held: Magic, in general. She has a mystical, enchanted sword, as well as stolen Tech guns that she uses from time to time favorably.

Magic: (Gonna come with it as I go... lol)

Bio: Her entire clan/family was murdered as a small child. She lived in the forest for a long time, avoiding the Techs as much as possible, living among the animals and faries and pixies, not to mention a special Moss Woman, whom she holds dearly to her heart. Ren has the tendency to be distant and serious, not having the chance to live out the normal life of a child. (Things may change according to my mood)

Weapons/Items held: A "real robot" pilot (meaning she pilots a mecha that's mass produced, rather than one of a kind) Her machine is a Getter Unit-9; a mecha that transforms from a jet into a robot with a drill arm, and holding a giant uzi that fires exploding shells instead of bullets in the other arm. Giant exploding shells, that is. Did I mention these were mass produced?

Bio: Orphaned by the war; she decided to join the Mecha Army cause she heard they had an abundance of food. Soon proved to be a skilled pilot with her unconventional and unpredictable tactics. Is also a paranoid shizophrenic.

Appearance: Short black hair, Deep gray eyes, and a robe with blue and black in various patterns. This outfit is not good for combat however so he usually wears a more out of the ordinary T-Shirt with pants.

Magic: Every form of magic, as he is a prodigy of time-ignoring magnitudes.

Bio: Having been born in a perfectly normal family, it was amazing that he had magic.

he was sent to a magic school at the age of four, and immediately revealed a level of understanding above and beyond his age group. After just a few years, he was already casting spells.

By the age of 15, he had mastered all forms of magic, and was determined to be the next in line to rule the Magic Military. He became the leader at the age of 16, right before our story starts.

Magic: Her specialty is draining magic. She can drain mana, life force, or even energy then take that power and direct it back at the opponent.

Bio: Satsuki is a special breed of vampire known as a True Ancestor, meaning she was born a vampire instead of turned into one. She joined Jace's forces on a pure whim, thinking this little war between magic and technology would be truely entertaining.

Weapons/Items held: His arms can transform into various weapons, including swords, hammers, drills, and guns. He also has a mecha that he can connect his transforming arms to and control by his computerized thoughts and will.

Magic: None

Bio: Shiki is a completely robotic man who was created to be believably human-like. He has what most robots lack, he has personality, emotions, and feelings and is ever growing and learning. Jeff saw the potential for him as a member of his forces and recruited the android quite readily.

Name: Melissa Fargone

Age: 20

Appearance: red hair, blue eyes, large... tracts of land.

Weapons/Items held: A staff that teleports anyone she whacks with it to a randomly selected location.

Magic: Very skilled at time-space magic. Specifically, she's good at making "Time/Space Barriers". Said barriers are invisible, and anything that tries to cross them will be frozen in time until the spell wears off.

Bio: Trained to be a sorceress since she was old enough to walk; the results of which are that she's a very skilled caster, but isn't very good at human interaction.

Race: Edgemaster (humans that look down on the rest of humans)

Appearance: Though he's 26, the Edgemasters age more slowly and so he only appears to be a 14 year old boy. He has short and spiky purple hair, and green eyes that are very piercing. He wears a baggy pair of pants and no shirt, revealing his abs.

Weapons/Items held: A magic sword that is incapable of breaking by anything short of a nuclear level spell (note that nobody should be ABLE to cast such a spell), katana shaped.

Magic: He uses body and blade enhancing magic, just like all Edgemasters. The exact degree of what he can do shall be revealed in the story.

Bio: Growing up in the tribe of Edgemasters, he was always a bit rebellious. Unlike the rest of his clan, he has decided to help the side of Magic in this fight, as he dislikes all forms of technology and believes it will ruin the world some day.

Specifically, he believes that the Edgemasters will be forced into a corner if all the rest of the magic in the world deteriorates due to Tech trying to destroy it.

Appearance: Massive with massive muscles. He has short black hair and a kind expression.

Weapons/Items held: He carries an assortment of highly advanced heavy weapons and explosives with him at all times.

Magic: HELL NO!

Bio: He grew up learning everything there was to learn about tanks. Not mechas, but tanks. He loves his tanks. He also made it his goal to some day lift a tank. He eventually reached that goal, and due to him being specialized in weapons as he is and his inborn resistance to magic, he became a top general in no time. His tactics have gotten soldiers through many battles.

Weapons/Items held: The pet robot which she has complete control of and is powerful enough to rip apart massive mechas. Of course, robot is a loose term. It is actually a magically formed Chimera enhanced with cybernetic armor and organs, until it finally became what is known as a Cyborg Chimera. Niho is psychically connected, and refers to it as 'Mr. B'.

Mr. B: As I am having trouble keeping up with everything I'm giving this thing, I have decided to list everything here. Note that if I forget something I reserve the right to add things.
Parts:
1) Chimera: His Chimera parts are magically formed together using a Gryphon, a Snake, A lion, a Dog, and a Bear. The Chimera part is impervious to minor spells, and generally resistant to bigger spells.
2) Cyborg: His metallic skin is made of a very well made steel alloy that is often even used in Mass Produced Mechs. This metal is completely impervious to standard RPG rockets and armor piercing bullets, however such weapons are outdated in today's world except for those strapped for cash, so Mr. B is NOT suited for full scale war.
Modes:
1) Neutral/Fight mode: Under normal circumstances, he looks exactly like he does in the image. He has no projectile weaopns, just his claws which are tipped in diamond and able to rip through steel, and his teeth which are the same. His tongue and teeth are all coated in poison, and are very deadly to humans. Non-humans are simply paralyzed, or immune in some cases. The fact he has extra arms does give him an advantage in direct grappling, and will often fight very directly close to any foe because of them.
2) Flight mode: Being part Gryphon and Part Cyborg, he has one wing that is from the Gryphon, and due to having only kept one wing, the scientist added a solar powered Cybernetic wing that will fly well but only in direct sunlight. (For reference, Mechas use boosters usually due to that allowing them to fly at night, but the solar powered wing is much quieter)

Mr. B lacks the ability to swim due to the metal on his body being too heavy, and he cannot breathe underwater due to lacking gills.

Magic: She can recover from any amount of physical damage, and most magic damage. The psychic link to Mr. B creates a way to communicate, and causes both to share the exact same emotions as long as they are within range of each other.

Bio: She was created to be a perfect little girl, but the proffessor who created her accidentally added an extra ingredient. Due to this ingredient, she became something entirely different, and as she grew up the proffessor despised her. The mage who had worked with him argued that even though things looked bad, they should not dispose of her.

Things got out of control, and the girl became afraid. She though they would kill her, and in fact it was practically guaranteed. But the proffessor had a pet robot that she had become very friendly with. Suddenly the robot connected to her on a strange psychic level, and her fear became it's fear, and it killed both the proffessor and the mage.

She had been 14 when this had happened. She has been on the run for four years.

Her creation was to symbolize a connection of magic and technology, and instead became a mistake that the history books would never record...

Name: Baron Bloodletter

Appearance: Large, and muscular. Has a robotic leg that transforms into a flamethrower.

Weapons/Items held: Pilots the Super Robot Massacre M. Said robot is large, bulky, and has freakishly huge arms. On the palms of its hands are Microwave Blasters that he uses to deep-fry anything that he can deep fry without getting court marshalled. Though they're powerful enough to melt through giant robots; he usually turns them on the lowest setting and points them at infantry; watching as they slowly overheat till they burst into flames.

Magic: none.

Bio: Note that he's not actually a baron; His parents named him Baron. He's a sadist who loves to cause others to suffer.

Bio: Garret took part of protector program which was to put him inside a powersuit which grants him speed, size and strengh. He's stuck inside suit since it can't be removed anyother way than Powersuit station. the Suit is like his second skin which works as armor. He was given his Powersuite station which he could use anytime to take suite off but he rarely does so now.

Weapons/Items held: His head band fires plasma blasts. His chair contains several blasters as well. In addition, he has a wireless connection to all of the Sentinels.

Bio: George is an android, created only for computing. He actually made himself into an android by inserting his brain into a humanoid, if strange, floating body, in order to better control the Sentinel Squadron, which he created to hunt down magic wielders.

They can extend long rods hidden in their wrists to perform a rocket punch, and can turn their hands into saws.

Bio: A group of 10 strong robots created by George to destroy all those who wield magic.

Name: Mobile Fortress DAS (Defend All Soldiers)

Age: 3

Gender: Female

Race: Machine

Appearance: A large cubic fortress with many ramparts for sniper usage, and even more weapons, energy and bullet based alike. Massive jets exist on the bottom and the sides of the fortress. A tall spire juts out from the top, which is actually the large Annihilation cannon. In addition, the AI commanding it is housed within a pink haired, childlike female android in a too-large shirt named Dassy.

Weapons/Items held: The numerous weapons on the fortress.The Annihilation cannon in particular can be charged up, and at full charge (15 minutes) is stronger than a nuke. Has powerful shields, and jets that allow it to move faster than anything of that size has any right to. Is also capable of taking command of Sentinels and other robots if needed.

Magic(if any): None

Bio: A cumulative effort between the scientists of the tech side, the mobile fortress was built around the basis of a submissive female AI, in order to prevent it from going psycho. The scientists remain unsure of who to thank blame for giving the AI the appearance of an underage girl.

Name: Inman Furnus.

Age: 23

Gender: male

Race: lich. Formerly human.

Appearance: Bald. On his entire body. has blue eyes.

Weapons/Items held: Undead Pendant. It revives everything killed within a certain distance of him as a mindless, undead slave. For some reason, this includes heavily damaged mecha. He created it himself.

Magic: Has set things up so that if he is killed, he will respawn in one week with a new body. However, everytime he dies, his next body will be a bit uglier. As it stands, he's only been killed once, and he's lost all of his hair. Also a decent demon summoner.

Bio: A powerful necromancer. He was just another powerful necromancer on the magic side till he managed to create that pendant. If not for it's twisted abilities, the magic side would not have been able to capture Metrux city. Sure, you could point out that he was technically the only survivor of that battle, but that's a minor detail. He and his undead armies would have used that city as a staging point for several more seiges, if a certain Super Robot pilot named Franklin Udon Fukimora hadn't taken his mecha and fought all the way to the center of the city, before using said mecha to create a nuclear explosion. Though Inman came back to life in a week; the pendant was destroyed, and he has spent several years since then creating a new one, and it's almost complete.

Name: Kokoro, or Koko for short.

Weapons/Items held: She wield two large cannon-like weapons, one that is similar to a flamethrower but.. more explosive, and the other that shoots large laser-beams. She has a storage compartment in her back that, along with holding spare parts, also has a section that holds a fold-out hover-board, which she is often seen riding.

Magic: None.

Bio: While at first produced to be one of the simpler 'real robots', she was picked up by an eccentric older gentleman who altered her neutral appearance and not only turned her female, but also gave her a personality as well as emotions. Along with this 'human' traits, she was also given her trusty and deadly weapons, which she still uses to this day. While the man wanted to make her like a daughter to him, and partially succeeded, he also made her personality a little too.. strong. It overloaded a bit, and she became quite.. energized and unpredictable. When she was first made, she would often go into rages, completely destroying the man's lab and also hurting him in the process. As she aged, she mellowed out a bit, but he lost all interest in raising her, and she was left on her own, functioning on the bits of knowledge he had programmed into her and doing whatever she feels like doing, which often includes blindly fighting or blowing things up.

Weapons/Items held: She has a bow and arrow, which she can put some of her magic into. So, she can shoot flaming arrows, for example.

Magic: She can use many types of magic, but her strongest types are water, love, and fire.

Bio: When her parents found out she could use magic, they sent her away to a magic school. While she was there, she met Jace. Ever since she learned how to use love magic, she's been using it. She enjoys making people fall in love with each other. Sometimes she does it for fun, but most of the time, it's just to give people the little push they need to get the courage to ask someone on a date.

Name: Cirno

Age: 12 (as an Android, she has had the mindset of a 16 year old her entire existence)

Gender: Female

Race: Android/Edgemaster (EVERYBODY RUN! Oh wait, most of you don't know what they're capable of...heheheheh)

Weapons/Items held: Her sword from the picture, which has magic properties that allow it to freeze anything it cuts, which makes for easier cutting, as she is capable of cutting through ice easily with her strength and skill. She also has the ability to see a tactical topographical map of the area she is in within 3 miles, as well as analyze any form of technology she sees and see it's vital points and what it's functions are. She also has liquid nitrogen sprayers in her legs to freeze things she kicks.

Magic: She is capable of Edgemaster Style body enhancement and sword magic.

Bio: She was created to kill the Edgemasters, but Lee found it and defeated it easily, because the creator made one flaw: The way of the sword is a learned art, not something to be programmed. After being defeated, Cirno lost her memory and became incredibly submissive.

Lee decided to train her as a swordswoman, and from that point forward she was an edgemaster, regardless of what else she was. Many people criticized his decision, but their society allows for anyone who wishes to learn the true path of the sword, and she proved herself several times over.

She became incredibly skilled, and is now able to match even Lee. She has decided to help him fight technology, and therefore, despite being an android, she is on the side of magic.

Name: Rakaiya

Appearance: Whatever anime character he likes at that time.

Weapons/Items held: Staff

Magic: Much uberhax stuff. A potential army destroyer.

Bio: Rakaiya is the invincible hero of magic, who's power is so great even he can't undo one of his curses in particular. He trained Jace, as he was too lazy and unreliable to lead the army himself. He cannot contribute to the battles due to a curse which causes him to come down with a sever case of narcolepsy if he attempts to do so. So most of the time he spends irritating his student and trying to get him laid.

Name: A.K.U.M.A (Antimagic Kinetic Ultimate Martial Artist)

Weapons/Items held: The prayer beads around his neck have been equipped with plasma conduits that connect through his mechanical body into the ropes around his fists and his sandals, allowing him to shoot plasma, or surround his hands and feet with it.

Magic: None, though he possess an ability similar to it: he can manipulate the pure energy of his spirit, chi, to an extent, which is amplified by the plasma weaponry he already possesses.

Bio: Akuma was once simply an ordinary, if quite powerful, fighter. George offered him incredible strength at a simple price - he was to become a cyborg. Since he would look the exact same anyway, Akuma took the offer. He became A.K.U.M.A and shortly joined George's cause to crush magic, which TOTALLY wasn't due to any programming George put in or anything.

Name: Maya

Magic(if any): She can transform some objects and she can summon different types of cats.

Bio: She met Diana one day in the forest and saved her from some wild animals. She decided on her own that she would protect her from that day on. Diana wasn’t too thrilled about that. She constantly calls Alice a stalker and tries to hide from her. She can never hide for long. Diana has been saved by Alice many times and is very grateful.

Name: "Experiment 506270" to most, Artificial Neuro-Transmittable Intelligence (ANTI) to herself

Weapons/Items held: Various, as many of the people composing ANTI were previously soldiers for the Tech side of the military. This includes many basic firearms, as well as more advanced laser weapons and three mecha. The mecha are as follows:

Magic(if any): Various, as ANTI has assimilated several soldiers from the Magic side of the war, though not as many as the Tech side. The individual Magic troops can wield magic of all basic elements, as well as other types of magic, with a low- to mid-level proficiency. However, since the troops all share one mind, they are able to power up each others' spells by combining their magic power, producing much more powerful magic than a troop of similarly skilled but non-mind linked Magic soldiers could do.

Bio: An experiment in artificial intelligence done by the Tech side of the war, ANTI was originally designed to be a system that would both allow teams to have telepathic link for communication and to allow for more people to be able to pilot the new mechas by linking people who are normally unable to pilot them with someone who is. This top-secret program was unknown to most people even within the Tech's ranks, so the scientists at the hidden base being used for the experiment were unprepared for the possibility of an attack. When Magic troops found the base and attacked, the few Tech soldiers present rallied themselves.

The squad present was a group of female soldiers being used to test the new, experimental system. The moment the the Magic soldiers burst into the room and began flinging spells at them, however, an unexpected reaction between the data and the magic occurred. It synthesized together and as the program data and magic merged, it developed into an AI system. Because the initial group of soldiers was entirely female, the AI program was also female. It quickly integrated their minds together with itself, assimilating them in the process. It then proceeded to do the same to all of the female soldiers of the Magic side, who surprised their allies when they turned on them.

While eradicating the facility and assimilating all the females present, the AI found several new mecha also being designed in secret. Since the AI's original purpose included allowing anyone to pilot a mecha, and since the squad contained one mecha pilot anyway, every girl that had joined with the AI was capable of piloting mecha. Three new models of mecha were stolen before the AI broke out of the base and left it behind as a smoking pile of rubble.

As the magic and the original data finally began to settle into a stable combination, the AI's priorities were rewritten and it became increasingly more self-aware. It soon named itself, choosing the acronym ANTI (Artificial Neuro-Transmittable Intelligence) as a suitable name. It also became a lesbian due to several of the females composing it at the time being lesbian. After an intense lesbian orgy, ANTI moved on through the desert the base had been located in. Scanning the surrounding area for more intelligences, ANTI located all the bases within the area and raided them, assimilating as many as she could.

Word of the rouge experiment has spread to the rest of the Tech side, and authorization to terminate the AI have been issued. Broadcasts over television, radio, and satellite are being sent out to warn people of the increasingly-dangerous threat that does not seem to take either side in the war.

Name: Johnnie Blaze

Appearance: He wears a robe and is often seen smoking a pipe. He has green eyes and short brown hair. His face betrays the tiniest signs of aging, and has smile lines.

Weapons/Items held: He holds a small red stick, a magic wand one could say. He uses it to focus his magic.

Magic: A great deal of elemental and defensive spells.

Bio: He never speaks of it.

Appearance: Looks older than he is, has a grizzled beard with deep brown eyes and his hair is black. Almost always seen with a cigar in his mouth, and wears a military combat uniform.

Weapons/Items held: Everything is kept in his dimension marble. Guns, explosives, tracking equipment, and even his Mecha.

Bio: Never speaks of it.

Combined Bio: These two are bounty hunters who have worked together to accumulate massive amounts of wealth. Ever since the Magic Side has been offering special powers as rewards for bounties on their side, they've accumulated such things as well.

Everything they have (including over half of Johnnie's magic, and Jack's dimension marble and Mecha) have all been obtained due to their bounty hunter job. They have become very proficient in capturing very high ranked bounties, and lately they've been turning their hunts into competitions to see who does the most work towards capturing their prey.

One last note is that, as you have likely already guessed, they don't choose sides.

Misc.: Feel free to make your own bounty hunters, and if the occassion arrises, feel free to kill these two. As you can tell, they are somewhat generic.

Has powerful shields, and jets that allow it to move faster than anything of that size has any right to. Is also capable of taking command of Sentinels and other robots if needed.

Bio: A cumulative effort between the scientists of the tech side, the mobile fortress was built around the basis of a submissive female AI, in order to prevent it from going psycho. The scientists remain unsure of who to thank blame for giving the AI the appearance of an underage girl.

Appearance: Has a resemblance to Clint Eastwood that is TOTALLY coincidental and not at all a cop out on his creator's part to avoid having to describe him.

Weapons/Items held: A Super Robot (that I'll think up a name for later) with two main weapons.
1) Second Circle of Hell: The mecha's chest opens up to reveal a giant fan that can create hurricane-force winds to either blow an opponent away, or suck them towards the mecha.
2) Seventh Terrace of Purgatory: The mecha becomes engulfed in extremely hot flames capable of melting steel.

Magic(if any): None.

Bio: His father was a man known for designing mecha, so he grew up around the military. He became an ace pilot who flew on several dangerous missions, and became known for being a skilled, but noble opponent. At around the age of twenty, he met a woman, and decided to marry her, and to go for a less dangerous military job involving helping his father design mechas. Then a vengeful giant attacked him on his wedding night; killing everyone he knew and loved, and leaving him unconscious, so he could live to grieve them. When he awoke, his father, who had managed to cling to life despite being mortally wounded, told him about an extremely powerful super robot hidden in the basement of his lab. He immediately took said robot, and hunted down the giant. He quickly killed it, and rejoined the military with the super robot, and became a legendary Super Robot pilot.

Weapons/Items held: A small dagger.

Magic(if any): Very skilled at Sympathetic magic; if she gets any piece of you, she can use it to induce involuntary shapeshifting. She also has a familiar that takes the form of a black cat. It has the ability to fly, and the ability to become intangible. This makes it great for getting samples.

Bio: A trained killer who ended up becoming a magical child soldier when she was seven years old. Is now in charge of a large legion of magical monsters. Said legion is where the rest of the magical army sends it's bloodthirsty, dangerous, and insubordinate soldiers in hopes that they'll be killed in combat. Agony is sadistic, and bloodthirsty. She believes that war is just a game (specifically a tabletop RPG), and as such she likes to "Play" as much as possible; leading her troops to every bloody battle that she can get them to. Her motto is "Crush the enemy the weight of your army's corpses if you have to. But win."
