Animagus RP

Blah. Blah. Blah. I'm a lazy, lazy girl~

Yeah, yeah, I have no real set plot planned for this so maybe have all the characters meet in town or something and we'll go from there.

Lanie was sitting in a restaurant in some town she couldn't remember the name of, eating a hot and hearty meal that filled her stomach nicely. She usually didn't go into town since she preferred the forest where her snake companions lived, but she decided that she needed some more money and came in search for a job.

There was a bulletin board hanging on one of the walls in the restaurant, various ads and flyers posted for everyone to see. It was a good place to start for her search and since she was already in the shop, she decided that it wouldn't hurt to have a proper human meal. She could only go so far when eating like a snake.

A girl in a rag cloak and hood entered the restaurant, carrying a large object wrapped in cloth behind her back. She raised her lowered head and looked around. The lighting made her face hard to identify, only making her mouth visible with the light. She smiled and then took a seat on one of the tables. A waitress went over to her and she gave her her order, a platter only with vegetables. She added a chuckle right after she said it.

She put the large object on her back down, leaning it on the wall. The girl sighed as she waited for her meal. "... Hm, I need a cloak that lets in more air..." she mumbled to herself.

A petite, white haired girl wearing a white dress with blue ribbons, walked into the restaurant. There was a look of wonder and curiosity on the girl's features. She always liked looking around new places she went to. It had been three years since she turned into an animagus, and yet she still hasn't found a permanent home. She stood on her tip toes and tried to find a table to sit at, but it didn't seem there were anymore free tables.

"Aw..." She pouted cutely and placed a hand on her tummy as it growled. "I was hoping for something to eat..."

Hariette heard a voice that just entered the room. When she turned around, she saw this girl. She somehow had a really really bad feeling about that girl and when she had a bad feeling it was usually because she might be in trouble. She always followed her instinctual drives. When she got her food on her plate, she quickly ate it, picked up the cloth-wrapped object and then stood up without paying, making a run for it outside the restaurant.

Lyra saw a cloaked girl run out the restaurant. Normally, she would have ignored it, but an intoxicating aroma entered her nostrils. She knew this smell oh so well. The wolf girl licked her lips. Rabbit.

With that, she headed out the restaurant as well, making sure to follow the cloaked girl trying hard not to get spotted or noticed.

Hariette made a sharp turn in the end of the streets and jumped into the forest, crouching down and catching her breath. "Wow... that was a strange feeling..." she said, sitting down on the grass and then sighing. "I wonder what was with that girl..." she said to herself as she crossed her arms, listening around her to see if anyone was still in pursuit. She heard faint footsteps and she got on her stomach on the ground to lay as low as possible, peering through the bushes to see who was there.

Lyra followed the girl in the oh so familiar forest. Her nose sniffed the air, tracking down the wonderful scent of rabbit. She took a few steps sniffing around then finally stopped right in front of the bush Hariette had been hiding behind.

Looking over the bushes with a smile, she held out her hand towards the cloaked girl, "I smell a rabbit, can I have it?"

It was then that her white wolf ears and tails unconsciously popped out at the thought of getting a rabbit.

"Ah, it's just a little girl..." she thought in relief as she stood up, revealing herself from the bushes and looking at the girl. "Hey, kid. So what do you want it-" she cut herself off when she saw the ears and tails that popped out from the kid's body. She backed off slowly and then chuckled nervously. "H-Heh... I knew it..." she said as she cleared her throat. "Well, kid, you see there's no rabbit over here. Try searching somewhere else in the forest."

"Huh...? No rabbit?" Lyra tilted her head, "But then why do you smell like rabbit...?"

She stood on her tiptoes to look closely at the other girl. Then suddenly she licked the girl's cheek in a quick motion before stepping back and smacking her lips. "Hmm.... you taste like rabbit too..."

"W-Well that's because..." Hariette thought quickly about a legitimate-sounding excuse for why she smells and tastes like a rabbit. "Oh, my father used to be a rabbit farmer! Yeah, that's right. Being around a lot of rabbits and..." she winced a little before she said the next part. "Eating a lot of rabbits... They really do the stuff for you."

She then crossed her arms and looked at the girl. "Besides, why would a human become a rabbit? That's what I ask you."

"Oh is that it..." Lyra said completely buying the obvious lie. That is she would have if it weren't for the fact that the other girl mentioned a human becoming a rabbit. Was she not a human who became a wolf? Realization dawned on her as she pointed her finger at the taller girl, "You're an animagus too, right?!"

Snap grumbled to himself as he replaced the last of the dirt with one pincer. He made a mental note, for the third time, to always ask the hooker her prices first.

And then he heard voices. Something about rabbits, a farm, tasting like rabbits(he hung on that thought for a minute or two), animagus...
He froze.

The man brushed aside the foliage as his hand turned back to normal, walking in plain view of the females, and looked between the two.

"Someone say 'Animagus?'"

"Animagus... So that's what happened." Hariette said as she took off her hood and her cloak, revealing her rabbit ears and leaning down on the tree trunk and then sighing. When she heard someone else in their presence, she took the wrapped up object and took off the cloth to reveal her scythe. She figured that it was time to show what she was known for in some places. "Hehehe... Is mister wanting to play with me? Bunnies don't play nice, you know?" she said as she looked at the man, her eyes seemingly turning blank.

Lyra looked from the man to the other girl. She tilted her head curiously, noting the look in Hariette's eyes, but gave it no further thought as an idea occurred to her. Well since the rabbit seemed to be distracted, she might as well....

"OMNOMNOM," Lyra made very audible sounds as she nibbled on the rabbit girl's leg.

"You'll never know what I can do. I may not look like it, mister, but--" she then felt a sharp pain on her leg. "OWW!" she yelped as she looked at her leg, seeing the wolf girl nibbling on it. "No! Bad girl!" Hariette frantically shook her leg. "Sit! Sit! Sit! Roll over!" she kept on yelling commands, hoping that the girl was just like a dog.

Lyra obediently let go of the other girl's leg and sat down. She however, didn't roll over, instead she looked up at the girl with a confused expression, tilting her head slightly to the left, "Why are you telling me to sit and roll over...?"

"Oh you're such a silly little foolish dog." she said as she giggled in a somewhat creepy manner. "Do you know how much I would have hurt you if you did damage to my leg? You don't want to get hurt, right? Right?"

Hariette then tossed her what seemed to be a small piece of meat from her pouch. She didn't tell her what kind of meat it was, but she decided that if she really was as obedient as a dog, she would like a treat.

John walked forward; his sonar indicated that there were two girls ahead; perhapse one of them was the one he was looking for.

"Excuse me," he said, as he approached them. "Are either of you named Harriette?"

"I'm not entirely sure whether this is supposed to be hostile or kinky..." Snap trailed off. He turned his head as he heard the new arrival. His eyebrow raised.

"Oi, lemme guess. You're an animagus too?"

A long, thick tree snake hung on a branch above the little group of animagi, watching carefully. It didn't understand human speech, but it understood what it saw. It understood that the group were just like its friend, the one who understood the snake language. It knew that it should contact its friend to let her know there were others like her in the vicinity.

A bird landed on the branch next to the snake, but surprisingly the snake didn't even think to eat it. Though Lanie - its humanoid snake friend - could understand snake language, she couldn't understand animal language as a whole. But they had a way to overcome that.

The snake quickly hissed a message to the bird, who tweeted and flew off towards the town. The bird then relayed the message to other birds who knew where Lanie was. Lanie, who had just finished her meal and exited the restaurant, was startled when a bird landed on her shoulder and began to tweet hurriedly. She didn't understand, but the snake on her wrist, her pet essentially, relayed the message to her.

"A group of animagi?" she asked the tiny red and white snake that was wrapped around her wrist. The snake - who was named Tiani - nodded in confirmation. "Well, this seems exciting. Let's see if we can meet them."

She hurried off towards the forest, feeling both excited and nervous about meeting others like her.

"MEAT!" Lyra cheered happily as she grabbed the meat and chowed down on it happily ignoring all others that came there. Lyra hadn't had a decent meal since that morning so it was nice to finally get some food down her little stomach.

"Why, yes mister..." Harriette giggled as she pointed her scythe at him. "What kind of business do you have with me?" she said with a very cheery tone. When she saw that the wolf was enjoying the meat she gave her, she decided that it might be safer to distract her for now with more meat. She petted her on the head and then put down another piece of meat in front of her. "There there, little doggy~ Enjoy the meat."

"The people of your village asked me to bring you back. They were very worried about you," said John.

Lanie was crouching on the ground, peering through the bushes at the group of animagi. They were definitely animagi, judging by their smell. The rabbit one looked delicious, but she just ate and wasn't in the mood for rabbit (lucky for the rabbit).

Now she wondered how to approach them. She has been living in the forest for years and barely had any contact with humans. Maybe she should just be in her animagus form instead?
