MLP: FiM RP

Ponyville is a very friendly community, and most Ponyville residents seem to know each other by name. The town was originally founded hundreds of years ago by earth ponies, but members of all three pony races now live there.

Public facilities in Ponyville include a large pavilion in the town square which also features a fountain, and a library –
Most structures in Ponyville have distinct thatched roofs and overhanging upper floors.

Businesses in Ponyville include: the Sugarcube Corner confectionery; a restaurant with a very proper waiter pony; a custom dress shop, the Carousel Boutique; an herb shop; a joke shop; a Quill and Sofa store; and a bath/spa. Food carts also operate on the streets. There are farms, a costume shop, a book shop, a fan shop, and the schoolhouse where young fillies get their edjumacation.

There is also a train depot with a self-powered steam train.

It is in this friendly town where this story, and RP, starts.

Woo!

Rolling Stone stood on the roof of the city hall building at the center of town, guitar in hand.

She began to play. This was going to be her moment of truth; this was going to be the day that she showed this town how awesome she was.

Rumor would then spread throughout Equestria; bringing in ponies in from all around to hear her music. Soon she would be given a record deal and tour the world until everyone heard her awesome music. And there would be awesomness throughout the land.

But that was still in the future. Right now, she could see ponies gathering around the building, drawn by her guitar music. It was now time for her to go into the second part of her act: the singing. The lyrics were written by her, so they were bound to be a hit this time.

She began singing.

"Your voice is like butter! It makes me all melty inside! And i don't want to share it, I want to hide... it and keep it all to myself! And then i want to lick it off my hooves and eat it, because butter is awesome! YEAH YEAH YEAH HELL YEAH! BUTTER IS AWESOME!"

Her lyrics were the greatest song lyrics ever written. Hence why she was confused as to why people had started to walk away.

Night Skye had just left her house and was now heading towards the book store for her shift. She was feeling rather cheerful today. That was because not only did she finish writing another chapter in her book, but she had also been struck with inspiration and had many new ideas to incorporate. She truly loved writing and new ideas made her giddy.

As she walked past city hall, she nearly flew into the air in shock when sudden guitar chords rang out accompanied with a singing voice. She relaxed when she saw that it was only Rolling Stone on another of her rather weak attempts of gaining recognition for her music. Night Skye could see that Rolling Stone really was talented in playing the guitar and singing, but it was her lyrics that really threw people off.

She really needs a few lessons in writing. And perhaps a lyricist too.

Making up her mind, Night Skye flew up to the roof and landed just as Rolling Stone finished her song. "Rolling Stone, making another commotion so early in the day, huh?" she said rhetorically.

bacon stripes, and her 2 now full grown foals, set up shop in the bar near the outskirts of ponyville hoping today they would be able to have a new customer soon. 

because if they didn't make some money soon they would 
have to close shop again.
