*Personality: Before death - Casual and carefree, with a love of competition. Now that she's a zombie thanks to her old nekomata rival? More or less the same, except with a new-found protective streak over the one who gave her 'life'. Putting her in harms way seems to bring out a new side to Shiro. She seems to have taken her death and revival pretty well, along with the whole 'Sachiko's a nekomata' thing, but she keeps her feelings for Sachiko hidden, deciding there's not much point to them now.
*Abilities: Used to prefer fighting with wooden swords, but ended up taking that weapon upon zombification. She's actually pretty good with it. Also won't die unless Sachiko stops feeding her magic, but is still vulnerable to things like dismemberment.
*Brief History: Liked swordplay of various sorts in life, and grew up with dreams of being a master swordswoman. By chance, she met a 'young' Sachiko and they became fierce rivals and also friends. Shiro even found herself falling for said rival... until a tragic accident occurred. It's thanks to Sachiko she's still around.

Abilities: She's about as fast, strong and tough as you'd expect from a seven year old girl. Although she has a rather impressive level of tactical knowledge and combat skill (that she is far too weak to use effectively). In addition, she wields the Miraculous Existance, Totsuka-no-Tsurugi:
* Totsuka-No-Tsurugi (B): The sword used to defeat the legendary beast, Orochi in the past. It is almost as long as Suzu is tall, making it rather difficult for her to wield effectively. That said, when she wields it, Suzu can tap into a small portion of her original power, putting her on par with a fairly athletic adult in terms of speed and strength. In addition, it deals additional damage to youkai and other such Japanese supernatural entities.
Brief History: A while back, Suzu got into a fight with her sister after the rules of a game halfway through, after breaking some of her toys, Suzu was thrown out of home. After a while, she came across a shiny new toy and returned home, giving it to her sister as a peace offering. And so, after some zany adventures, we reach the modern day, where Suzu's mean sister changed the rules of a game ''again''. "I sweaw we wewe pwaying basebaww! Whewe'd that Twistew mat come fwom anyway!?" Unfortunately, despite having made up with her sister last time, Suzu threw another tantrum and was once more thrown out.

- Name: Carbonara Caravaggio, commonly called Kitty by close companions.
- Species/Race: A Magical Mishap by a Mad Mage. To put it simply, he is technically a common house-cat, caught in the backfire from a transmutation spell and turned into a dashing young man, one benefiting from all his former feline attributes. Including the desire to chase after mice and play with balls.
- Gender: Male, though one feminine enough that a little illusory magic, makeup, and years of practice means that he can fall all but the most astute into thinking that he's merely a boyish female.
- Age: Despite being eternally frozen at seventeen, maybe twenty if you were to be generous, Carbonara is actually in his late nineties.

- Possessions: Hidden within his cane, with the elaborate rose disguising a basket hilt and the cane's body acting as a sheathe, is an enchanted rapier. Enchanted to do what? Well, to remove all the bothersome business of brushing and oiling, for the most part, but also to slice through unenchanted steel if it strikes correctly. A bigger blade is not a better blade, skill matters more than size.
He also owns one of the smallest mansions in the city, one small enough that a single pair of twins—one male, one female—is sufficient to run the entire household with nary a problem. The décor is extremely understated; it is a place for living in, not entertaining. Carbonara is rarely a host; 'tis much better for one in his profession to be inside someone else's than have them inside his. - Personality: Quiet and subdued at first glance, Carbonara warms quickly—if he has decided that your wallet is enough to warrant his attention or your features and skills enough to make up for any lack there. Ugly, boorish people without a penny to their name are the sort he hates; leadership is something the catboy abhors and will avoid at all costs. Once warmed up, his voice tends to be very... alluring, tempting even those that normally wouldn't sleep with him to consider it.
Despite being a poor leader, he's also a poor follower. Cats are not known for being social animals and he finds it very hard to accept someone as his superior. It's difficult for him to not try and be on top at all times, regardless of what would be suitable or whether the other would be better suited in this situation. - Skills: He is the best swordsman in the Thieves Guild; whilst Celeste is more gifted when it comes to raw capability, Carbonara has had much longer to hone his technique and is, in fact, responsible for educating the young Corsair in the way of the sword. He's a somewhat shoddy burglar, however, having difficulty not getting distracted once inside someone else's mansion by all the curiosities and the like, and therefore favours getting up close and personal. Whilst his superior is a gentleman thief and implausible burglar, Carbonara is the thief to go to if you want tips on robbing people blind after sleeping with them or on taking their purse whilst you dance.
He's also profoundly gifted when it comes to application of makeup, as much as he'd like to deny it, with some small measure of skill in illusion to make masking his voice and some of the more... troublesome features of masculinity simpler. - Bio: After being 'born', Carbonara was adopted into the Thieves Guild. With nowhere else to go and nothing to fall back on, he quickly learnt and rose through the ranks, spending what money he earned on fencing lessons and the other essentials to fit into high society. By the time Celeste was born, he had won his house in a highly publicised duel, then faded from the limelight and hired the twins (twins that also haven't changed with the passage of years), whilst keeping up his job as a social butterfly and strangely accomplished thief. No-one ever blames him for their missing possessions, he's still there in the morning and their missing stuff... isn't (hidden pockets in his clothes).
After Celeste was educated, he continued pretty much as he had been: high-ranking but never climbing higher or making use of his position. After Celeste's rise to power, he was basically installed in second or third place in the Guild, much to Carbonara's irritation. Still, people tend to forget, he doesn't associate with 'the rabble' that much, even if he started there. - Other: N/A

Personality: Quiet and serious-minded, Maylene is focused on her job and on caring for and protecting Rosalie. She is placid and focused, and friendly towards visitors that Rosalie has invited. Uninvited visitors, on the other had, get a far sterner greeting and are quickly removed from the premises unless Rosalie says otherwise. She is unshakably loyal to Rosalie, and would never, ever betray her. Not ever. She does not hesitate to kill, if the need be... surprisingly, she is very easily flustered or embarrassed.
Skills: Cooking, cleaning, the exact methods in which to quickly kill someone with any number of items, including mundane things like a butter knife, combat skills, stealth skills... oh, wait, those last few aren't something a maid should have...
Bio: Maylene may have, at one point, been an Assassin. She may also not be human, it's hard to tell. She definitely posed as a nun at one point, and she killed someone at least once. How she came to be Rosalie's maid is anyone's guess.

*The Church of the Holy Lady of the Blooming Lily: A religion founded roughly a thousand years ago, the Church of the Holy Lady of the Blooming Lily is based around the worship of the goddess Liyulyri. A goddess of poetry and literature, worshippers believe that she gave humanity the original idea to form stories and song out of their ideas. They believe that every time they write, they are thanking her for this gift. Prayers are held in massive chambers, where each worshipper writes their own version of the prayer as told by the Maetor(See below). Among other things valued by the church, close bonds between worshippers are held in high regard. Robes worn for various ceremonies are often white, and the symbol of the church is a blooming lily.

***Nuns: Fairly obvious. Far more prevalent then monks in this religion. Rumor has it that an assassin once posed as a nun of this faith.

Name: Purazuma Excellion. It's a long name, so she asks that people call her Pura.
Race: Succubus. It is not imperative that they have sex... so long as they like being devoid of most of their eventual powers and constantly hungry. Without it, they're still kind of dangerous, though, so no-one pushes the virgins into sleeping with people as soon as possible and much as possible. The feeling of not being hungry afterwards more than makes up for it~
It's easy to spot that they're not human, though.
Age: 19
Gender: Female. It's a one-gender race, after all: any fertile male can sleep with a female succubus to produce a succubus child. It tends to effect what abilities they have, in weird, weird ways (humans tend to make the resulting offspring use plant-related magic, for instance).
Weapons Held: None, though her horns are sharp and effectively are weapons.
Items held: She has a sack full of bread! She's hungry even when she's full, though... >.<
Magic: As a succubus, Purazuma would have a large, large list of abilities that are useful only for sex... if she had ever slept with anyone. Same for improvements to physical endurance, speed, and flexibility. The only ability she has as a result of her heritage are those 'tattoos'. If magic is channelled through them, she gains a proportional boost to strength and speed (and they're a result of her father's being an elf). She can also fly, which probably involves magic somehow.
Her mother taught her to throw small fireballs, so she's not completely harmless.

Her mother kept her away from the messy part of her heritage, teaching her to read and take care of herself, as well as basic magic, so she's... not really got a lot of experience with many things, including socialisation. She also has no idea what sex even is or any ideas of romance more complicated than 'someone you really like being with' and hugs.
Cute things easily distract her and, if they're smaller than her, she tends to end up hugging them. Since her mother was both small (she's six foot six, her mother is five foot four) and cute, she also hugged her mother a lot.
Bio: See personality. Her mother's decided that it's time to let her go explore a bit and given her these clothes. She's also under instructions to return home so that her mother can explain some things if she ends up in a romantic relationship with anyone. Fortunately, it doesn't seem likely that Purazuma is going to show such interest in people... or recognise it.

Race: Fairy! Y'know, those small, winged things known for packing a surprising amount of magic into their frames? Yeah, she's one of them.
Age: 37, hasn't aged since 20.
Gender: Female (how many male pictures exist, anyway?)
Weapons Held: None. What would she fight, spiders?
Items Held: Also nothing. She... doesn't really have much carrying capacity. Well, she has a bag made from spider silk with a change of clothes, but that's it.
Magic: Dragon is a fairy tailor. This means that, apart from anything else, she can turn spider silk into garments and then enchant the clothes--fairies being small and their clothing being extremely thin, unenchanted attire has a tendency to get easily destroyed and provide no protection from the elements. This does not extend to footwear, however, because most fairies never walk anywhere (sure, they can't fly when wet, but it's normal to avoid that... or learn some way of drying off extremely quickly).
The other thing that's part of this? She can talk to, and magically control, spiders. All spiders. Everything up to bear-sized man-eating monstrosities with venom that dissolves flesh. Got to get her raw materials somewhere~

One day she heard about some strawberries growing by the human town... but it was actually someone's garden, and she got caught. Leaving her to suffer, the gardener (not a nice person at all, really) went back inside, and Dragon was found by a female about to go exploring. She's been sticking with adventurers for the past few years, trying to learn the spell she wants. She can't exactly go home without wings...

She is prone to making biting, sarcastic comments to those she perceives as idiots, and has little to no tolerance for stupidity or fooling around. While she won't engage in violence unless the other person is willing too, she's all to eager to do so when a fight begins. Killing is no problem for her. She cheerfully takes payment for it, after all. Kameko is fond of her suit. Secretly, she still cares greatly for her younger half-sister and adopted mother.

While it does not provide visible physical alteration, proper usage can cause the manifestation of superhuman speed and strength. having focused on technique and speed, Kameko has rendered herself fast to inhuman levels. However, it is difficult for it to best such artifacts and it is more for defense against them while Kameko tries to devise a strategy.

As Kameko and her younger half-sister grew up, however, she slowly began to realize that there were problems ever now. Her younger sister was ill, and while she would not die from it as long as she was routinely treated, caring for her absorbed so much of her adopted mother's income that they could barely afford anything else. And it was also becoming difficult to afford treatment for the child. Kameko exhausted many solutions before she finally came to one that she still uses today. After training with an heirloom magically-reinforced katana, she became an assassin for various powerful magical individuals. Taking her first few missions in secret, under various coverstories, she began to discover that she quiet enjoyed fighting and killing. She gave all the money she earned to her adoptive mother and younger sister, but continued even after leaving home. Currently, her family believes she is working in America. They still receive funds from her, but they do not know how she is getting them.

She is affectionate with her mother and her older sister, and she's a diligent worker. She resents the fact that she's not able to be as active as other children her age, but she doesn't dwell on it.

History: Born, and diagnosed with an incurable, but treatable disease. For a while, she was falling into the later stages as her mother could not afford to treat her, but the flow of money from her older sister has saved her life and allowed her to live mostly normally.
If these were to be added to Urban Fantasy's infotopic, they'd just be there as characters who happen to exist, of course. They are incredibly unlikely to appear in the actual RP.

However, she still daydreams even on the job, sometimes strumming her broom.
Abilities: Surprisingly good cleaning skills, excellent skills as a guitarist, and the ability to magically convert sound into pure kinetic energy.

She is quite happy with her abilities of being able to hit people very hard with both her magic and her fists. Kaori adores sweets, especially ice cream and chocolate. She also likes playing her drums, too.
Abilities: Kaori's combat technique is equal parts melee and magic. She practices Full-Contact Magic, including point-blank energy blasts and encasing her fists in corrosive magic. Her gloves are enchanted, so if she lights her fists on fire she doesn't have to worry about burning them. Also, excellent at playing drums.

- Unlimited Blade Works is a "Reality Marble", the contents of Archer's mind projected into the world. To be activated, Archer must recite a chant. This chant materializes Unlimited Blade Works. When activated, those caught within the Reality Marble vanish entirely from view. They are taken to Archer's own reality, a barren landscape filled with an unlimited number of blades. The sky is filled with floating gears, and a red-brown fog fills the air. These blades can be pulled from the ground and used physically, or fired as a bullet hell-esque storm of lethality.

Randomly decided to write up Makoto in her peak. Work in Progress.
Name: Makoto. Never reveals this to others unless they've earned absolute trust. Kana seems to be a favourite alternative, though she's went by 'Inari' , 'Azumi', and 'Akari' before, just to name a handful of her identities.

Species: Nine-tailed Kitsune
Homeplace: Japan
History:
When Makoto had first become a kitsune, she was horribly arrogant, boastful and a devious trickster. She had no qualms about endangering human lives for fun. While she tended to end up on the receiving end of severe punishment for her 'pranks', Makoto never seemed to learn. For a little over a hundred years, after gaining a second tail, she made the mistake of letting slip her name to a human she was tormenting. He took advantage of this.
For the next fifty plus years, she was practically a slave to this human, fulfilling his every whim, whether for conquest or a more personal need. Fearing the loss of her then meagre power, she felt there was no choice but to comply. Finally, he died, leaving Makoto with a bitter resentment towards humans.
For two hundred years, she took up residence in a forest, periodically harassing travellers that happened to come by with her growing powers, finding delight in scaring them into hysteria with her illusions and flames.
One night, during a period of war, Makoto came across a small camp of humans. Perhaps fleeing villagers, judging from their lack of notable equipment. The kitsune decided to test her relatively-unused dream manifestation on a child.
The nightmares she witnessed sickened her.
Seeing the child's twisted exaggeration of the death and destruction she had witnessed, Makoto briefly felt her anguish. She realised that humans suffered at each other's hands as much as other species did. Leaving the camp before anyone awoke to find her, she secretly followed the group as they wandered, eventually guiding them to a small village under the guise of a well-travelled man.
From then on, she watched this growing village, learning that, after all, humans weren't all evil. The people were were kind and happy, despite the times and tragedy. Makoto swore to protect them.
For a hundred or so years, Makoto watched over this village, hiding it from the view of other youkai and fighting back any warlords who saw the need to pass through. Eventually, the villagers came to revere the location as 'blessed' and 'protected by the divine'.
Makoto felt overwhelmed with gratitude and pride that her efforts were noticed, and although she would have loved to bask in the glory, a small part of her remained fearful that they would turn on her for not being human. Instead, she remained on the sidelines, taking the guise of another villager and defending them in secret.
At some point, she met a passing youkai by the name of Artimus. He was rather unassuming, his power weak, but someone Makoto found she liked a lot. Friendly, easy-going... the two ended up becoming friends, defending the village together.
When Makoto was roughly 760, after hearing tales of the world outside their home land, she was convinced to take a journey around the world, strengthening herself, her abilities, and gain a vast repertoire of knowledge. She left with a parting promise in her name: To return and remain with Artimus forever.
Having seen her friend grow in strength, she felt the village would be in good hands, and left. Her journey ended up spanning roughly one hundred and thirty years, returning on the eve she was to become a nine-tailed kitsune. The village itself had prospered, and Artimus had remained as its protector. After a hearty reunion, things seemed to return to normal.
...Until Artimus revealed his true colours.
Barely a year after Makoto had gained her final tail and leap in power, the village seemed to descend into anarchy overnight. Mass killing and destruction rained over her domain, with Artimus at the centre. He revealed to Makoto that his true ability as a youkai was a devourer of all things magic in nature. His power grew depending on the strength of the creature, and had seen Makoto as a chance to ascend to godhood.
Furious, Makoto unleashed her full might upon him - illusions, flames, every single ability in her arsenal that could be used for offence - but nothing affected him. Rather, it was merely absorbed into him.
The kitsune had exhausted herself, Artimus bound her using her name, and he planned to fully consume her. In desperation, Makoto ignored the pledge to 'become his fuel for ultimate strength' and conveniently ripped open an entrance to a separate realm.
Neither had expected Makoto had such an ability, but she took full advantage of it. She managed to throw Artimus inside, at the cost of losing much of her newly-gained strength for having broken a promise.
As of now, Makoto is overseeing the restoration of her village with the handful of remaining villagers. The confrontation had left her bitter, but she refused to become a hateful person. She had to focus her efforts on people that needed her. As for Artimus... well, as long as she never opened a pocket reality, there was no chance of him returning, right?

Cloning Tails - Can temporarily remove a tail and transform it into a single-tailed clone. It's power is vastly reduced, and also cuts Makoto's own power.
Fox-fire - She makes fire.
Possession - Can possess. This, however, requires that the recipient know her name and feel strongly for her. Whether it's love, hate, or even overwhelming indifference, the opinion must be strong enough.
Shape-shifting - From human to fox. Generally prefers human with her tails on display.

History:
When Makoto had first become a kitsune, she was horribly arrogant, boastful and a devious trickster. She had no qualms about endangering human lives for fun. While she tended to end up on the receiving end of severe punishment for her 'pranks', Makoto never seemed to learn. For a little over a hundred years, after gaining a second tail, she made the mistake of letting slip her name to a human she was tormenting. He took advantage of this.
For the next fifty plus years, she was practically a slave to this human, fulfilling his every whim, whether for conquest or a more personal need. Fearing the loss of her then meagre power, she felt there was no choice but to comply. Finally, he died, leaving Makoto with a bitter resentment towards humans.
For two hundred years, she took up residence in a forest, periodically harassing travellers that happened to come by with her growing powers, finding delight in scaring them into hysteria with her illusions and flames.
One night, during a period of war, Makoto came across a small camp of humans. Perhaps fleeing villagers, judging from their lack of notable equipment. The kitsune decided to test her relatively-unused dream manifestation on a child.
The nightmares she witnessed sickened her.
Seeing the child's twisted exaggeration of the death and destruction she had witnessed, Makoto briefly felt her anguish. She realised that humans suffered at each other's hands as much as other species did. Leaving the camp before anyone awoke to find her, she secretly followed the group as they wandered, eventually guiding them to a small village under the guise of a well-travelled man.
From then on, she watched this growing village, learning that, after all, humans weren't all evil. The people were were kind and happy, despite the times and tragedy. Makoto swore to protect them.
For a hundred or so years, Makoto watched over this village, hiding it from the view of other youkai and fighting back any warlords who saw the need to pass through. Eventually, the villagers came to revere the location as 'blessed' and 'protected by the divine'.
Makoto felt overwhelmed with gratitude and pride that her efforts were noticed, and although she would have loved to bask in the glory, a small part of her remained fearful that they would turn on her for not being human. Instead, she remained on the sidelines, taking the guise of another villager and defending them in secret.
At some point, she met a passing youkai by the name of Artimus. He was rather unassuming, his power weak, but someone Makoto found she liked a lot. Friendly, easy-going... the two ended up becoming friends, defending the village together.
When Makoto was roughly 760, after hearing tales of the world outside their home land, she was convinced to take a journey around the world, strengthening herself, her abilities, and gain a vast repertoire of knowledge. She left with a parting promise in her name: To return and remain with Artimus forever.
Having seen her friend grow in strength, she felt the village would be in good hands, and left. Her journey ended up spanning roughly one hundred and thirty years, returning on the eve she was to become a nine-tailed kitsune. The village itself had prospered, and Artimus had remained as its protector. After a hearty reunion, things seemed to return to normal.
...Until Artimus revealed his true colours.
Barely a year after Makoto had gained her final tail and leap in power, the village seemed to descend into anarchy overnight. Mass killing and destruction rained over her domain, with Artimus at the centre. He revealed to Makoto that his true ability as a youkai was a devourer of all things magic in nature. His power grew depending on the strength of the creature, and had seen Makoto as a chance to ascend to godhood.
Furious, Makoto unleashed her full might upon him - illusions, flames, every single ability in her arsenal that could be used for offence - but nothing affected him. Rather, it was merely absorbed into him.
The kitsune had exhausted herself, Artimus bound her using her name, and he planned to fully consume her. In desperation, Makoto ignored the pledge to 'become his fuel for ultimate strength' and conveniently ripped open an entrance to a separate realm.
Neither had expected Makoto had such an ability, but she took full advantage of it. She managed to throw Artimus inside, at the cost of losing much of her newly-gained strength for having broken a promise.
As of now, Makoto is overseeing the restoration of her village with the handful of remaining villagers. The confrontation had left her bitter, but she refused to become a hateful person. She had to focus her efforts on people that needed her. As for Artimus... well, as long as she never opened a pocket reality, there was no chance of him returning, right?

History: Where do we begin. So, a long, long, long, looooong time ago in a universe far, far away but much like ours, shit was hitting the fan. Creation was collapsing, dying. Reality itself was coming to an end, the universe taking its last breaths. Planets, solar systems, entire galaxies fell until there was only one left. One, little, insignificant rock. And from that rock, one little, insignificant person was chosen. That person was Kali. Elevated to a god-like level of power seemingly by some form of the Powers That Be, Kali learned that what had happened to her universe was not happening for the first time. It was a recurring event, one which had struck down numerous universes before her own, and would continue to do so without end. It was simply death. There was no stopping it, and no slowing it. There was only cleaning up after it.
That's what a Verger was. A cosmic janitor, whose sole duty was to annihilate dying universes, and reduce them back to base components to be rebuilt into a new, purer form, then move on to the next universe and wait to do it all over again.
And so she did. She destroyed what remained of her own universe, and traveled onto the next. And she did it again. And again. And again. For so many billions of years that her own age became a fact lost to her.
Powers
Perfect Immortality: A Verger cannot be killed except with the weapon of another Verger. There is no exception to this rule, and even removing the offending party from reality will not "kill" them.
Verger: The simple status of being a Verger, a god-like being which stands above all to destroy all. This position is marked by the possession of a unique weapon. In Kali's case, a pair of flaming chainsaw nunchuks. These weapons can "cut" through the very fabric of space and time, and even through universes. They're indestructible, and cannot be wielded by anyone but Kali. They seem to possess a number of other unnamed functions, including one particularly spectacular attack in which Kali uses the blades of the chainsaws to form a dragon. Which breathes chainsaws.
Bag of Unlimited Holding: Exactly what it says on the tin. A Verger tends to pick up numerous odds and ends on their trip, and will thusly need a place to keep them. Kali's bag has been shown to contain Spanish galleons, the contents of multiple bank vaults, a Thompson Contender which fires dragons, a toaster capable of ejecting bread at light speed, a literal mountain range of various alcohols, and a small, cute little panda dog creature named "Mr. Cuddles"
Self Modification: Kali has done a number of things to her body over the years, altering her genetic makeup and just about everything else so many times you probably couldn't tell what she was supposed to be at one point. She's so far shown to be a cyborg, some form of lycanthropic creature, a vampire, as well as numerous animal hybrids, not all of them known to Earth.
Magecraft: Kali has visited a number of universes with unique magic systems, and has had enough time to refine them to the point of mastery.
Psychic Abilities: Another ability Kali either learned or patched into her genetic code. She seems to possess potent psychokinesis, and can seemingly warp reality to some limited extent with her thoughts.
Telepathy and Mental Protection: Kali can read your mind. You can't read hers.
Substance Tolerance: Whether or not its a result of what she is or what she's done, Kali is extremely resistant to substance abuse, requiring literal days of nonstop drinking to approach even a buzz.

Kali is the "live for today in case you won't see tomorrow" type (even though she knows she will), and advocates being happy above all else. She takes it upon herself to help make others happy in any way she can (usually by advising binge drinking and unprotected sex =P), but she's a little too aggressive about it, which more often than not drives people away. Really just buries herself in material indulgences as a means to deal with what she's had to do over the years. She carries a massive load of guilt over all the things she's had to do, which is why she's so desperate to try and help people be happy (even if they don't want to be).

This set a precedent for her parents: do not let the little girl get her mouth on things if you want it to survive. Curiously enough, she tended to leave something alone if it wasn't threatening her and she knew it was safe. As she grew, those few people that decided to try and ostracise her for her frankly unhealthy complexion learned the hard way that fighting skill means little when putting your face in the way is a perfect way to avoid injury.
She's not very social now, though.
Appearance: One on the left. That's really not enough hair to try for a ponytail but it's not stopping her from trying. The cake's also nothing more than a light snack.
Powers: The ability to eat anything without distinction or injury. Or, indeed, needing to take much time to chew and swallow. This extends to an invisible shield around her face, directing stuff to her mouth, whereupon she can bite through it and send it to the bottomless pit of her stomach. Energy and nutrients are diverted to her body, everything else lingers there for all eternity.

Name: That Plant Girl. Plant, for short.
Age: Indeterminate. Being a forgetful plant that sleeps through winter, Plant is PROBABLY in her thirties, or thereabouts.
Gender: TECHNICALLY both. For ease of pronouns and due to the first sapient animal they encountered, Plant is female.
Species: Animate Magical Plant. She is, literally, a plant that has attained sapience and shapeshifting abilities. Being a plant, however, that hasn't had long to study humanity (or work on improving her abilities), any resemblance is skin-deep. And green. Her only working senses are an exceptional sense of touch--she can even hear through it--and the ability to communicate with lesser plants.
She's also got the ability to speak.
History: Used to be a curiosity on the outskirts of a village, though people avoided the wiggling plant, apart from a few of the more intrepid children. She also had a nice swimming spot behind her, which is how she got a good chance to examine the human body--people kept slipping and falling onto some of her leaves. She also heard a looooot of speech.
Appearance: When not trying to blend in with the native greenery, or just doing her own thing and making pretty shapes, Plant likes to take the form of a fourteen year old female, flesh soft but undeniably the colour of green apples. Her hair is outright vines and, whilst the toenails and all other anatomical features are superficially correct, she's not got the insides working. Her eyes are also completely blank--no colour perception, remember? Her hair's only marginally darker because it's a different substance, same with the nails.
If people whine enough, she can also 'grow' a dress over it. Plant dislikes doing this, because she likes showing off her true-to-life she's managed to get everything. Besides, she's from a different Kingdom entirely...
Powers: Control and growth of nearby plants, if she's not tired, and shapeshifting by rearranging and altering her own body. Also a very fast learner and nigh impossible to sneak up on: her 'field of view' is the same in all directions. Hard to kill, too: plants MAY burn but that generally requires being DRY or ridiculous heat that's fatal for most people.

Gender: TECHNICALLY both. For ease of pronouns and due to the first sapient animal they encountered, Plant is female.
Species: Animate Magical Plant. She is, literally, a plant that has attained sapience and shapeshifting abilities. Being a plant, however, that hasn't had long to study humanity (or work on improving her abilities), any resemblance is skin-deep. And green. Her only working senses are an exceptional sense of touch--she can even hear through it--and the ability to communicate with lesser plants.
She's also got the ability to speak.
History: Used to be a curiosity on the outskirts of a village, though people avoided the wiggling plant, apart from a few of the more intrepid children. She also had a nice swimming spot behind her, which is how she got a good chance to examine the human body--people kept slipping and falling onto some of her leaves. She also heard a looooot of speech.
Appearance: When not trying to blend in with the native greenery, or just doing her own thing and making pretty shapes, Plant likes to take the form of a fourteen year old female, flesh soft but undeniably the colour of green apples. Her hair is outright vines and, whilst the toenails and all other anatomical features are superficially correct, she's not got the insides working. Her eyes are also completely blank--no colour perception, remember? Her hair's only marginally darker because it's a different substance, same with the nails.
If people whine enough, she can also 'grow' a dress over it. Plant dislikes doing this, because she likes showing off her true-to-life she's managed to get everything. Besides, she's from a different Kingdom entirely...
Powers: Control and growth of nearby plants, if she's not tired, and shapeshifting by rearranging and altering her own body. Also a very fast learner and nigh impossible to sneak up on: her 'field of view' is the same in all directions. Hard to kill, too: plants MAY burn but that generally requires being DRY or ridiculous heat that's fatal for most people.

History: I haven't really worked out if anything interesting happened in their pasts, but the basic jist of their current situation is that the mage that she and her sister belong to decided "Cats are all well and good as familiars, but...they're not particularly helpful." and worked out a spell to turn the pair into their current forms.

Abilities: Whether it's through magic or crazy amounts of training, Felicia's really good with a sword, to the point where most experienced human swordsmen have trouble keeping up with her, possibly due to her catlike agility and reflexes. Surprisingly, despite functioning as one of her master's maids, she is an utterly dreadful cook, can't be trusted to use a feather-duster for more than five minutes without slipping into a daydream in which it's a sword and that priceless vase/painting in front of her is an evildoer in need of punishment. She can generally be trusted to do the laundry, but other than that, her maid skills are somewhat lacking.
Personality: Felicia seems to always have energy to spare, accompanied with a boundless enthusiasm for any and all tasks. Unfortunately, she tends to get distracted easily and daydreams an awful lot. This tends to lead to her forgetting any work she was in the middle of, in which case odds are any dishes she was washing will be sentient beings by the time she remembers what she was doing, or in the case of her daydreaming, well...see the above revocation of her feather-duster rights.
She enjoys fighting, messing with Caitlin or visitors and a number of other more...catlike things, although she denies a lot of these by virtue of being (mostly) human now. Getting her to stop doing anything she enjoys is almost impossible. Abilities: An all around amazing maid, able to whip up any meal so long as she's got the ingredients on hand and has seen the recipe at least once and capable of cleaning the entire mansion within the space of a few hours. Which is good, since she is also capable of sleeping for 12 or more hours a day regardless of what's happening around her.
Personality: Caitlin is a great deal more polite and reserved than her sister. She rarely smiles, and when she does, it seems to be an act she puts on more than a real sign of her feelings. This isn't to say she's unhappy, she just isn't particularly emotive. When it comes to her work as a maid, Caitlin is dedicated and efficient.

Personality: Kazuki is a serious and straightforward man. He takes a no-nonsense approach to life and to dealings with magic. His personal views on magic, unlike some, is that both onmyodo and western magic are perfectly valid ways to practice magic. However, he also believes it is best to focus on one or the other. Kazuki has absolutely no tolerance for the abuse of magic, such as criminal activity pursued using magic. He cares a lot for his children, and enjoys cooking for them. His approach to his craft is a cool, calculating one, weighing the various advantages and disadvantages of using different spells in different situations.
History:
Abilities: Kazuki is an extremely skilled onmyouji. His skills include hypercompetence at exorcism in addition to various methods of utilizing water. By extension of these abilities, Kazuki is also skilled at ice-based onmyodo. He is also a skilled cook.

Personality: Mariko is, most of the time, a happy and somewhat whimsical woman. It would even seem, to most people, that she would be described as something of a ditz. However, behind this whimsical exterior, she is surprisingly quick of thought and very focused. She is also absolutely vicious in a fight if her children or husband are threatened, to the point of not at all being hesitant to kill whatever it is that's threatening them. Aside from that, she is very kind. She loves her children, and cooking for her children.
History:
Abilities: Unlike the rest of the Kawaguchi family, Mariko's affinity is fire. In addition, she uses a much more... direct and entirely-combat focused variation of onmyodo, using ofuda on one's body to produce a great deal of effects. Due to the nature of her affinity, this is almost purely offensive, though it can be used to produce barriers if not directly applied to her body. The most notable application is the ofuda Mariko attaches to her hands. This causes each punch to explode on contact with the target. Also a skilled cook.

This replica, in spite of only holding a fraction of the power of the original, is vastly destructive and capable of bringing down buildings in what is called the Dragon-Killing Stroke. However, the lance has critical flaws due to the nature of its creation. It cannot survive repeated usage of its holy power, due to the fact that it is actually a demon conforming to the form of Ascalon, and must recover after each usage. Ascalon itself has a mind of its own and is capable of assuming her normal form which she stays in unless she is required to be a lance.

Appearance: "Perhaps I should act more like a real nun? The expressions on people's faces, at least, would be funny."
Personality: Abaddon is not entirely pleased with her position. As a result, she tends to be short-tempered and somewhat snappy. However, she also takes this time to mock Arthur and any other members of the Church she comes across. She has a tendency to make sarcastic remarks or insulting jabs. She enjoys having time off, and becomes considerably brighter and less insulting when she isn't forced to work for the Church. She doesn't even seem to mind the heavy supervision required, instead cheerfully perusing shops and talking to people. Though even then, she has a tendency towards cheerfully messing with them, though in a mostly harmless manner. Abaddon maintains that demons are more interested in enjoying themselves than killing people or anything, and does genuinely dislike the 'bad seeds' whom the Church usually winds up killing for giving her kind a bad name.

Abilities: Abaddon once possessed extremely vast destructive power. However, that is now sealed with a numerous amount of holy seals. Instead, she holds the ability to conform to the shape of the Holy Lance Ascalon, becoming a replica of the weapon and holding a fraction of its incredible destructive power. However, as these abilities are holy ones, Abaddon is harmed by them. She must rest and recover after their use.

Personality: Excitable and cheerful, Harumi never seems to stop moving. She's extremely energetic, and rarely stops herself from doing just about whatever she feels like. She comes off as rather ditzy and goofy, but this is really only because she hardly takes anything seriously. When things get serious, she becomes far more focused and intelligent, though in most cases her cheerfulness is only reduced as opposed to erased entirely. Harumi expressed a desire to become friends with everyone, and she absolutely seeks to fulfill this desire. She has been known to get rather frightening if she's forced to drop her cheerful attitude. Very little can make her do so, which means she must be pushed very hard in order to completely drop it.
History:
Abilities: Harumi is a Mage in training. However, she is fairly far along in her training and thus is capable of a fair number of spells. Harumi's affinity is Metal. She is capable of using spells to form metal objects, including small projectiles and makeshift swords. So far, her constructions can only reach the size of a person, though they will be able to be larger with training.

Personality: Amaya could easily be described as 'fiery'. She is stubborn, forceful, and short-tempered. She's also a very hard worker, and dislikes slackers. Amaya is aggressive and and competitive on top of all this. However, she has a softer side, usually displayed among her family and towards her younger sister. She can be remarkably caring and soft, though this side is rarely shown even around her closest friends. She is extremely proud of her skills as an onmyouji and won't pass up any opportunity to flaunt them, as long as it doesn't violate the secrecy of magic.
History: Amaya is the oldest child of the Kawaguchi family. Her life has been somewhat uneventful, aside from hard training to be an onmyouji.
Abilities: Amaya's affinity is water, which she uses to great affect. By using ofuda placed in key locations, she can condense all the moisture in the air(or any water nearby) to crash down on a single target. In addition, she takes ques from her mother and applies ofuda to her own body, allowing her to create fists and other objects of water which encase portions of her body.

Personality: Hoshi is as bright as her namesake. She's extremely cheerful and energetic, putting a lot of enthusiasm into everything she does. While she sometimes struggles with her studies, both in school and in her onmyodo practice, she refuses to give up and tries her best. However, she's somewhat lacking common sense, and is easily confused or frustrated. However, she is determined to be a good onmyouji when she grows up, and she will not give up on this ideal. That said, she can be easily distracted from her studies with candy or cute things, which draw her attention very easily.
History: The youngest child of the Kawaguchi onmyouji family, Kawaguchi Hoshi has yet to advance very far in her family's standard training. However, she has begun to focus on a facet of onmyodo known as Ichi Sen no Kotoba ni, and she is making good progress, as much as can be expected for her age.
Abilities: An onmyouji in-training, Hoshi's abilities are not particularly advanced. However, as a practioner of Ichi Sen no Kotoba ni, she can currently weakly effect the environment with certain kanji or drawings. Currently, this only extends to weak temperature changes, though as she practices she we be able to preform far more advanced spells. Her affinity, like the rest of her family's, is water, which makes it easier for her to create water-based changes using Ichi Sen no Kotoba ni.
Name: Foretessia Valorum

Appearance: "Your acts have brought nothing but ruin. For that, you will die."
Personality: Foretessia is a young woman who has lived a life stained with blood. She is the quiet, serious sort of person who takes everything with the utmost seriousness. She is very intelligent and quick to think, and is wholly willing to kill if the need be. She has a deep fondness for cats, and can often be found with one when she is not fighting. Foretessia does not make friends easily and tends to distrust those around her. Even if she trusts them, she pushes them away due to the dangers of being associated with her. At least, in most cases. If she is absolutely confident that someone she trusts would be able to defend themselves, she may become more comfortable around them. Foretessia dislikes people who do not value life, in spite of her nature as an assassin. This is due to the fact that she deeply values life, and believes taking it must be handled with care.
History: Little is truly known about Foretessia's early life. However, she has made a name for herself as an assassin. "The Girl with Bloody Hands", "The Death-Dealer", and "The Vector Shifter", and "London's Red Mage" are all names she has earned throughout her bloody career. Foretessia has only accepted jobs which deal with the killing of those who have crossed a line into amorality, be they powerless humans or magi. At some point in her life, she lost her right eye.
Abilities: Foretessia has an extremely rare ability associated with her affinity, Air. Known as "Vector Shift", Foretessia can use advanced, speedcast spells to alter her body's personal vectors. This allows her to change the speed she is capable of moving at, as well as stop blood from flowing out of her body if she is injured. She can even alter the temperature of her own body, though it is harmful if she goes for extremes. However, Foretessia can only alter her personal vectors. The vectors of other objects and people are inaccessible to her, save for those of her sword. Her sword, known as Mystletainn, is an alchemical construction specifically created to be susceptible to her Vector Shift. In addition, Foretessia is a novice spellcaster with several basic air spells, and a skilled swordswoman.

Personality: Kiyomi is a determined and strong-willed individual. She has a tendency to look on the more optimistic side of things, and is practically the embodiment of the refusal to give up. She has a somewhat short temper, and a tendency to refuse help in favor of doing things herself. If she believes something is her fault, or her problem, she will attempt to resolve the issue herself and refuse help from others, even to her own detriment. She sometimes has a tendency to jump into things without thinking them through, or make ill-advised decisions. In spite of this, she is highly intelligent. Kiyomi likes hard workers, and is a very confident girl. On top of this, she is sometimes a little too eager to fight. However, she will almost never kill her opponent, though leaving them heavily injured and incapacitated isn't out of the question, as long as they survive. She greatly dislikes people who prey upon others, especially if their victims are unable to defend themselves.
History: Kiyomi was born into a weakly magical mage family. However, she had an incredibly unique distinction among her relatives: Kiyomi bore the rare affinity of Mana. While this granted her a limitless supply of mana, the affinity was so rare in modern times that few spells remained in use that utilized pure mana, save for some very basic spells. Kiyomi desired more then this. From the moment she was able to do so, she trained, and worked hard to harness her rare affinity. She developed spells based off of various calculations and theorems, after studying for several years to learn the theories related to spell creation by heart. And all her hard work finally paid off. Kiyomi became known throughout the world by magi, who called her "The White Cannon of Japan" for her incredible abilities utilizing her affinity.
Abilities: Kiyomi's spells and magic all relate to her affinity for Pure Mana. Pure Mana as an affinity is so incredibly rare that few advanced spells were developed for it. As such, Kiyomi created her personal list of spells. These include a massive beam of raw mana known as Kiyomi's "White Cannon", due to the color of mana being interpreted by human eyes as pure, pristine white. It is this spell that gave Kiyomi her name among magi around the world. She is also absolutely vicious in a fight if her children or husband are threatened, to the point of not at all being hesitant to kill whatever it is that's threatening them. Aside from that, she is very kind. She loves her children, and cooking for her children.

Abilities: Unlike the rest of the Kawaguchi family, Mariko's affinity is fire. In addition, she uses a much more... direct and entirely-combat focused variation of onmyodo, using ofuda on one's body to produce a great deal of effects. Due to the nature of her affinity, this is almost purely offensive, though it can be used to produce barriers if not directly applied to her body. The most notable application is the ofuda Mariko attaches to her hands. This causes each punch to explode on contact with the target. Also a skilled cook.

Personality: Abaddon is not entirely pleased with her position. As a result, she tends to be short-tempered and somewhat snappy. However, she also takes this time to mock Arthur and any other members of the Church she comes across. She has a tendency to make sarcastic remarks or insulting jabs. She enjoys having time off, and becomes considerably brighter and less insulting when she isn't forced to work for the Church. She doesn't even seem to mind the heavy supervision required, instead cheerfully perusing shops and talking to people. Though even then, she has a tendency towards cheerfully messing with them, though in a mostly harmless manner. Abaddon maintains that demons are more interested in enjoying themselves than killing people or anything, and does genuinely dislike the 'bad seeds' whom the Church usually winds up killing for giving her kind a bad name.

Abilities: Abaddon once possessed extremely vast destructive power. However, that is now sealed with a numerous amount of holy seals. Instead, she holds the ability to conform to the shape of the Holy Lance Ascalon, becoming a replica of the weapon and holding a fraction of its incredible destructive power. However, as these abilities are holy ones, Abaddon is harmed by them. She must rest and recover after their use.

When things get serious, she becomes far more focused and intelligent, though in most cases her cheerfulness is only reduced as opposed to erased entirely. Harumi expressed a desire to become friends with everyone, and she absolutely seeks to fulfill this desire. She has been known to get rather frightening if she's forced to drop her cheerful attitude. Very little can make her do so, which means she must be pushed very hard in order to completely drop it.

Abilities: Harumi is a Mage in training. However, she is fairly far along in her training and thus is capable of a fair number of spells. Harumi's affinity is Metal. She is capable of using spells to form metal objects, including small projectiles and makeshift swords. So far, her constructions can only reach the size of a person, though they will be able to be larger with training.

She can be remarkably caring and soft, though this side is rarely shown even around her closest friends. She is extremely proud of her skills as an onmyouji and won't pass up any opportunity to flaunt them, as long as it doesn't violate the secrecy of magic.
History: Amaya is the oldest child of the Kawaguchi family. Her life has been somewhat uneventful, aside from hard training to be an onmyouji.
Abilities: Amaya's affinity is water, which she uses to great affect. By using ofuda placed in key locations, she can condense all the moisture in the air(or any water nearby) to crash down on a single target. In addition, she takes ques from her mother and applies ofuda to her own body, allowing her to create fists and other objects of water which encase portions of her body.

Personality: Hoshi is as bright as her namesake. She's extremely cheerful and energetic, putting a lot of enthusiasm into everything she does. However, she's somewhat lacking common sense, and is easily confused or frustrated. However, she is determined to be a good onmyouji when she grows up, and she will not give up on this ideal. That said, she can be easily distracted from her studies with candy or cute things, which draw her attention very easily.
History: The youngest child of the Kawaguchi onmyouji family, Kawaguchi Hoshi has yet to advance very far in her family's standard training. However, she has begun to focus on a facet of onmyodo known as Ichi Sen no Kotoba ni, and she is making good progress, as much as can be expected for her age.
Abilities: An onmyouji in-training, Hoshi's abilities are not particularly advanced. However, as a practioner of Ichi Sen no Kotoba ni, she can currently weakly effect the environment with certain kanji or drawings. Currently, this only extends to weak temperature changes, though as she practices she we be able to preform far more advanced spells. Her affinity, like the rest of her family's, is water, which makes it easier for her to create water-based changes using Ichi Sen no Kotoba ni.

Personality: Foretessia is a young woman who has lived a life stained with blood. She is the quiet, serious sort of person who takes everything with the utmost seriousness. She is very intelligent and quick to think, and is wholly willing to kill if the need be. She has a deep fondness for cats, and can often be found with one when she is not fighting. Foretessia does not make friends easily and tends to distrust those around her. Even if she trusts them, she pushes them away due to the dangers of being associated with her. At least, in most cases. If she is absolutely confident that someone she trusts would be able to defend themselves, she may become more comfortable around them. Foretessia dislikes people who do not value life, in spite of her nature as an assassin. This is due to the fact that she deeply values life, and believes taking it must be handled with care.
History: Little is truly known about Foretessia's early life. However, she has made a name for herself as an assassin. "The Girl with Bloody Hands", "The Death-Dealer", and "The Vector Shifter", and "London's Red Mage" are all names she has earned throughout her bloody career. Foretessia has only accepted jobs which deal with the killing of those who have crossed a line into amorality, be they powerless humans or magi. At some point in her life, she lost her right eye.
Abilities: Foretessia has an extremely rare ability associated with her affinity, Air. Known as "Vector Shift", Foretessia can use advanced, speedcast spells to alter her body's personal vectors. This allows her to change the speed she is capable of moving at, as well as stop blood from flowing out of her body if she is injured. She can even alter the temperature of her own body, though it is harmful if she goes for extremes. However, Foretessia can only alter her personal vectors. The vectors of other objects and people are inaccessible to her, save for those of her sword. Her sword, known as Mystletainn, is an alchemical construction specifically created to be susceptible to her Vector Shift. In addition, Foretessia is a novice spellcaster with several basic air spells, and a skilled swordswoman.

Personality: Kiyomi is a determined and strong-willed individual. She has a tendency to look on the more optimistic side of things, and is practically the embodiment of the refusal to give up. If she believes something is her fault, or her problem, she will attempt to resolve the issue herself and refuse help from others, even to her own detriment. She sometimes has a tendency to jump into things without thinking them through, or make ill-advised decisions. In spite of this, she is highly intelligent. Kiyomi likes hard workers, and is a very confident girl. On top of this, she is sometimes a little too eager to fight. However, she will almost never kill her opponent, though leaving them heavily injured and incapacitated isn't out of the question, as long as they survive. She greatly dislikes people who prey upon others, especially if their victims are unable to defend themselves.

Kiyomi became known throughout the world by magi, who called her "The White Cannon of Japan" for her incredible abilities utilizing her affinity.

It is this spell that gave Kiyomi her name among magi around the world. Power: Butterfly Effect: Erin is capable of manipulating "The Butterfly Effect" itself. This being the theory that even the flap of a butterfly's wing on one side of the world, can cause a typhoon on the other side of the world. In effect, this theory refers to the "Chaos" that manifests itself in the world through phenomenon that cannot be explained easily. Erin, however, has the power to tell the "Consequences" of manipulating their surroundings. The simple act of dropping a pencil might result in an earthquake happening in San Francisco, but Erin can see that it will happen before they drop it. This has led to them being paranoid about every little thing they do.
At the age of 21, however, the power is designed to manifest itself completely, and now Erin can even go so far as to control what happens when they drop that pencil. However, there are limits to how much control they have. For the most part, they can simply say "don't happen" if it's just some far away disaster. More importantly, they can see how to make what they want to have happen, well, happen.
For example: If Erin wants to destroy a building right in front of them. What 'little thing' can cause enough "Chaos" in the world that only this building would be affected? They are then directed to the set of circumstances that would cause this to happen, for this example simply blowing the hat off of a nearby man's head is enough. After apologizing, the wind and physical results cause such chaos that, after 72 seconds, the building demolishes down upon itself.

- Cookie Creation: Since birth, Orteil has actually been capable of creating cookies from nothing. While he can only create so many at a time, he discovered that by increasing the amount of cookies he creates each day through production lines he's responsible for (Such as factories he's personally had built, or kitchens with workers he's personally responsible for), he can actually increase how many he can create at a time.
- Golden Cookies: Through Golden Cookies, he can create a powerful random effect. While normally this has the use of randomly increasing his overarching cookie production, he has discovered that he can weaponize them to create powerful beams of golden energy powered by his cookies.
- Wrath Cookies: These are just like the Golden Cookies, but can have negative effects on his cookie production. However, he has discovered that by creating a covenant with the absurdly powerful Grandmas he can weaponize these as well for ridiculous offensive effects.
- Heavenly Chips: These godsent chocolate chips will grant Orteil divine powers, mostly for the purpose of improving his cookie production. They have an interesting side effect of empowering his Golden Cookie Beams however.

She will usually go on the defensive until she sees an opening; then strike her opponent down. That is, if she doesn't get a chance to just shoot them from a mile away.

Abilities: A skilled fighter that prefers to take down her opponents with one strike to their weak points rather than engage in a drawn out battle. She will usually go on the defensive until she sees an opening; then strike her opponent down. That is, if she doesn't get a chance to just shoot them from a mile away.
Personality: A stoic girl who doesn't care much about socializing. She's determined to become a great huntress to make her adoptive father proud. She can't stand to see anyone in pain; even her opponents, or even Grimm. Hence why she tries to take them down as quickly and painlessly as possible.

Skills and Abilities: Very good at Transfiguration, and charms. The only areas she's really struggling at are the ones that don't involve direct spell casting; and she's maintaining passing grades in those. Is currently attempting to master divinationin order to find out juicy gossip before it happens because it might be useful someday. Or something.
Personality: She has a reputation for being somewhat of an ace at everything; and for being extremely nice and polite to everyone. However, this isn't exactly the whole story. While she does work hard in her classes; she only does so because of the pressure her parents put on her to succeed. And she only acts like a nice girl because she believes it's expected of her.
In truth, there is nothing she enjoys more than stirring up drama. In fact, she seems to believe that the people around her are pretty much only there for her entertainment.
