Name: Kusatsu Nanami (last, first)

Personality: She is a calm and serious person, but she can get angry at sometimes. Despite this, she can get easily flustered at times.

Weapon(optional): Japanese sword

Bio: She is the daughter of a shrine maiden and a bat demon, however, Nanami herself doesn't know of her origins. The villagers have shunned the girl because of her white hair and red eyes, so the girl had to learn to harden her heart to others, but deep down she is still a shy, young girl. After the warlord took over Japan, her village was destroyed and her mother was murdered. Now she travels the land, hoping to get revenge on the ones who caused her mothers death. Even though she still doesn't realize the truth about her origins, her abilities have shown themselves from time to time, which is why she is the only one of her village to survive the attack.

Extra: As a half-demon, she has some abilities of her own, but she has no control over them nor does she realize she even has them. One such ability is to grow bat like wings out of her back, and another is to control dark energy that can surround her blade or be used as a barrier.

Name: Okamoto Chiyo

Personality: She is a bright and cheerful child who tries her best to put on a brave face, even though she can get easily scared.

Weapon(optional): A sling and some pebbles

Bio: Chiyo is a small child that Nanami found during her travels. The girls village was pretty much in the same state Nanami's and Chiyo would have probably been killed by the warlord's men if the half-demon hadn't got there to save her in time. Now the little girl insists on following Nanami around and tries her best to be helpful to the other girl. She thinks of Nanami as a big sister and often calls her Nanami-neechan.

Extra: She isn't very good at fighting, but she is good at setting traps and thinking up distractions.

Name: Yojinsho, Dozo

Age: 20

Personality: Brash, excitable, and quick to temper; Dozo is a whirlwind of changing emotions. Highly unpredictable.

Weapon: Long no-dachi katana. Looks like it might be too much sword for him, but he wields it like a pro.

Bio: Born to a fisherman and a whore, Dozo hasn't a drop of noble blood in him; however, this doesn't deter him at all from becoming a great samurai. From the time he could walk, Dozo would sneak into a nearby castle and watch the young samurai train under a wizened master. Every night after watching, he would practice the moves he saw on the nearby bamboo forests, using a reed in place of a wooden training sword. At 15 he left his home and sought out a battlefield. There he watched his first battle - watched as men slew one another, and ultimately made the field run red with blood. After the battle, he stole a dead samurai's armor, sword, and name. He's been fighting ever since, moving from daimyo to daimyo, assuming different dead mens' identities in an effort to find a place for himself. The only thing that stays constant is the giant sword slung across his back. Few samurai use the no-dachi blade, but it suits Dozo; he and the sword are rare among men..

Extra: Dozo is a heavy-drinker, and prone to get incredibly drunk at the drop of a hat. This also affects his fighting style, making him even more unpredictable and dangerous.

Name: Setsuna
Age: 100
Gender: Male
Race: Demon
Appearance: He wears a black gi and hakama with red lining, a red obi, and a straw hat. He walks around barefoot.

Personality: Stoic and serious, but can be very kind though he is insecure about some things.
Weapon(optional): His claws, which he can use in his human form, and a variety of magic skills.
Bio: A young crow demon who has been traveling across Japan since he learned how to fly. He had once fallen in love with a man half a century ago, but Setsuna was forced to kill the man (and a handful of villagers) because the man despised demons. Since then, Setsuna has rarely been in his demon form and keeps his distance from humans. He travels because it gives him a sense of freedom and nothing can tie him down to one spot where he can get hurt all over again (like with the man).
Extra: His demon form is of a man-sized crow with two pairs of glowing red eyes, two pairs of wings, a tail with long wavy feathers, and his feathers have a red tint to it.

Name: Tamuro Eiji

Personality: He is a mischievous flirt, who loves to tease others. He is a fun loving guy and rarely takes things seriously. The only time you will ever see him serious is when he's in a fight, but even then he will toy with his opponent.

Weapon(optional): Naginata

Bio: He was once an aspiring samurai working under a kind master who took care of the boy. He was taught how to fight and even joined his master in many battles, and seem to enjoy the thrill of fighting. But one day, he and his master was attacked by the men of the Warlord. They both fought bravely, but the master fell and Eiji himself barely escaped. Now he is a traveling ronin, doing whatever he can to earn money. Either by exterminating minor demons or by helping a daimyo in the battlefield for a small fee.

Extra: Surprisingly, he's quite good at cooking having survived on his own for so long and will be the main source of food for the group.

Name: Aya Nakamura
Age: 18

Personality: A kind girl with a hot temper and a love for food.
Weapon(optional): Various ninja weapons and a small arsenal of kitsune magic.
Bio: A girl born from a human mother and a kitsune father. She grew up in a ninja village because her mother was a kunoichi and became one as well. She has always known of her demon lineage but its a well-kept secret from the rest of the village. Along with her ninja training, she has also trained her demon side with her father, but one day her father was killed because they stumbled upon a camp of the Warlord's soldiers. Aya was captured for "other reasons" and she was forced to watch the men eat her father. In a rage she used her demon form to kill the soldiers before running back to her village. Days later, the Warlord's forces pillaged her village and took many villagers as their prisoner, including Aya's mother who saved Aya and others from being captured. Aya then vowed to free her mother and many others from the Warlod's reign of terror.
Extra: Aya hates bugs.

Name: Zakuro Amagai

Personality: A bit shy and withdrawn, but always cheerful.
Weapon(optional): A dagger that was given to him by his father.
Bio: Zakuro came from a long line of clairvoyants. He and his father lived in a temple where they would help anyone who came to them. But the Warlord arrived and forced Zakuro's father to help him in overthrowing his enemies and seeing any threats that would come his way. Zakuro's father managed to convince the Warlord not to capture his son, but Zakuro is determined to get his father back. He met Aya who wanted to see his father and convinced the girl to bring him with her so that they can search for their parents together.
Extra: Zakuro's clairvoyant abilities are still premature, so he can not call on them at will. But whenever he has visions, it is mostly of terrible events.

Personality: She seems like a lovable ray of sunshine till she occasionally says something rather disturbing. (what can I say? I like characters like that)
Appearance: black hair and eyes. Somewhat busty, but nowhere near anime standards of busty.
Bio: A ninja who betrayed her village. Currently on the run from her past. Which, according to the theory of narrative casualty, will inevitably catch up with her.
Other: Her current circumstances will depend on the RP itself.
