The Touhou Zone

Renko and Maribel decide to take part in an exchange program where they will live with another family replacing Jazz and Tucker. (Who being not claimed, are not important to the RP until they are claimed.) We'll begin the RP with them arriving to Japan and eventually they'll help Sam and Danny get to Gensokyo.

It was a nice relaxing day in Amity Ville. For once, ghosts weren't all over the place terrorizing it. Yes, it was a good day pick up the two girls in the exchange program from the Air port, Danny noted. He along with Sam were sent to pick up them up, one would be living in his house for the next two weeks and the other would stay at Sam's.

"Hey, Sam," Danny said getting her attention, "Which one was supposed to go to my house again? Was it the Renko girl or Maribel?"

"Geez Mary, why did you pack so much stuff," A brown haired girl complained as she walked through the air port carrying three large suit cases. Maybe she shouldn't have offered to carry Mary's bags. What was she packing in these things, surely it wasn't clothes. Off in the distance, she spotted a dark haired boy and girl. The boy held up a sign with both her's and Mary's names so she could only guess that they were waiting for them.

Sam Manson, goth best friend of the Danny Phantom as well as crush-in-denial, waved a hand flippantly at Danny's question.

"You're getting Maribel I think," she said, her eyes scanning the crowd. "Do you think these girls cosplay?"

Sam hid her excitement of meeting the two Japanese girls well. She didn't want to ruin her goth image by looking too happy. But it wasn't everyday that you get chosen for an exchange program and house girls from the land of cosplay. If either of them know how to make good dresses then she was going to abuse that skill just to fill up her own wardrobe.

Of course, Sam could've easily bought her own dresses, but she was a hands-on kind of girl and liked making her own things rather then buying them.

Maribel looked at Renko, who was carrying three large suitcases that was hers. Of course she only did that because of Renko's very generous offer that she can't deny. The suitcases were heavy, of course, because she had her clothes, toiletries, and even books and notes from their Sealing Club in there (which is mostly the reason why it's heavy). "You know, Renko, you should really learn that being ready at all times pays off more than you think." she said as she waved towards the people who they are apparently going to be with. "Besides, you never know if something strange will happen around these parts. I might even see clearer and larger gaps in the boundaries."

"Sure, sure, whatever you say Merry Berry," Renko said as she made her way to the two dark haired teens who were waving back at Maribel. Once she reached them, she placed the suitcases down for a moment. she stuck out her hand towards Danny having been taught by Maribel the proper way to greet a westerner, "Hello, I'm Renko Usami, and you are?"

Danny returned the gesture with a hand shake. He noted that girl wore a white button up shirt with a red tie and black skirt. A lock of her brown hair was tied in a ribbon at the tip and on top of her head was some sort of black hat. A fedora maybe? "The name's Danny. Danny Fenton, and this is my friend Sam Manson. You'll be staying with her."

"Oh well then, it'll be a pleasure staying with you Sam," Renko stated almost forgetting herself and bowing. Luckily she caught herself before that. They were in America now, she had to keep that in mind.

"Pleasure's all mine," Sam said with a polite grin. The two girls looked rather... quirky. She just hoped that they weren't like the popular girls at Casper High. That'll be a complete disaster considering how Sam felt for them. "So, if you two are ready shall we be going?"

Maribel shook her head at Renko in disapproval. "You've always been the big skeptic.... I wish you would believe and trust me about these things a little more often..." she said with a pretend sadness in her voice. Eventually, they got to where the people who they were staying with. She then nodded at each of them. "I'm Maribel Han. Don't worry, I know things about the western world as well." she said before extending her hand for a handshake towards both, first at Sam.

"Oh, so it seems like I'm going to be staying with you, huh?" she said while looking at Danny and giving a little smile. "Yes, we're ready." she replied to Sam.

"I hope you enjoy your stay," Danny said with a smile. Hoping that these girls weren't the type to be too freaked out by ghosts. He noticed Renko about to pick up the three suit cases again, so he went over to offer his help, "Here let me take one of those."

"Oh sure, thanks," Renko said allowing him to take one of the suit cases while she took the other two.

Danny bent over and lifted up the suit case, appearing to be struggling with it, "Wow, this is heavy. What's in it?"

"That's probably the one with all our club's research notes and books," Renko replied offhandedly.

Sam went over to help Danny with the bags, taking at least one to help lighten the load. She was stronger than her best friend after all, at least when he's in human form.

"Research notes?" she asked, sounding interested. "What does your club do?"

Maribel looked over at Renko and sighed. "Renko... why do you tell them the contents of my luggage right off the bat? Besides, those are important pieces of notes for our club." she said while shaking her head.

She looked over at Sam and then back at Renko. "Umm... Well..." she then looked at Sam again. "You see, when I tell someone about it, they start calling me delusional or a lunatic... I really don't feel like sharing much of it. Besides, you might be a skeptic just like Renko."

"Mary, Mary, Mary," Renko said shaking her finger at her friend, "No need to be so secretive about it."

She then turned her attention to the other two, "We're part of a club called the Sealing Club. It's sort of an occult club, that's all there is to it really."

"Occult club...?" Danny said to himself then muttered, "They'll fit right in this town..."

Sam grinned widely. "Occult club you say?" Her eyes glittered with mirth. "You are my kind of girls. Besides, Amity Ville is a hotspot for paranormal phenomena, right Danny?"

She winked at Danny, knowing what he was thinking.

"I knew it!" she said as she looked at Renko, giving her the 'I told you so' kind of look. "Still... I do hope that I see some of those boundaries in here..." she muttered to herself.

After that, she looked at Sam and then smiled. "Maybe some time we could meet together and you can show me and Renko some of the hot spots in this town?"

"Don't give me that I told you so look," Renko protested, "We haven't had proof yet that there is anything supernatural in this town."

Danny grinned, sharing a glance with Sam, "That'll change soon enough."

"Eh? What do you mean?" Renko asked.

Danny shook his head in response, "You'll see soon enough. Now follow me, my parents are waiting outside in the car. Fair warning, my parents are a little well... you'll see..."

At that point, several boxes started floating around in a spiral pattern, and the Box Ghost appeared.

"BEWARE, FOR I AM THE BOX GHOST!" he said. "FEAR MY POWER OVER ALL THINGS CUBICLE!"

Sam glanced up at the Box Ghost then looked at Danny, her face set on a bored expression. "Do you really have to exert any effort to get him?" she asked.

When Maribel saw the ghost that appeared in front of them, she looked at Renko and tried to hold back her laughter. Eventually, she couldn't control herself and started laughing hysterically. "Hahahaa! I told you, Renko!"

Renko stared at the ghost for a solid minute, "Okay..." She rubbed her eyes and looked again, "It could be an optical illusion caused by a refraction in light."

"How do you explain the boxes then?" Danny said with a mirthful expression.

"I.. I can't... " Renko replied tilting her hat down in embarrassment. "Anyway, what are we gonna do? Do we just leave... or what? Cause of the ghost and everything..."

"Oh right, I think I hear someone calling me, better go check it out," Danny said making a hasty exit. Not too soon after a white haired boy appeared wearing a black suit.

"Now that was suspicious..." Renko noted to herself.

"Hey! Why can't you give me a break for like one day at least?" Danny said to the box ghost as he fired a green ray from his hand.

Sam smiled at seeing Danny in his ghost form and she turned to Maribel and Renko.

"That is Danny Phantom, our resident ghost boy and superhero out to save the citizens from evil ghosts," she said, just a tad sarcastic. "With him around, the ghosts are beaten and captured, though they always come back."

"BEWARE, FOR I AM THE BOX--oof...." said the Box Ghost, as he was hit by the blast.

"So this is a great spot for ghosts and other supernatural events... if only there was that..." she said as she looked around for possible gaps in the borders between their world and the world that she wanted to go to, Gensokyo. She then called over to Sam. "You won't happen to have some ancient monument of some importance here, won't you? I think that's where our studies will actually lead us to what we're looking for. You can even join in if you want."

TIME SKIP!

After a curb stomp battle with the box ghost, Danny and Sam had arrived at their respective homes with their guests. Danny opened the door to his home and lead Maribel, "You'll be staying in Jazz's room, just follow me and I'll lead you there."

Renko in the meantime stood inside of Sam's home, "This is your house?" She had not expected Sam's home to be so.. well this. A home like this could only belong to someone with a lot of money.
