Emo snickered at Flame's comment but didn't reply. The bit of banter eased her slightly ruffled nerves but they were back in full force once she followed the man-on-the-cloud's instructions. She took her position on one side of the arena, directly across Flame, and breathed deeply to calm herself.

I just had to be in the first fight. Darn you Lady Luck...

Suddenly a man poofed into existence. Fans of Naruto may recognize him. GM-Chan had really pulled out all the stops for these fights.

He coughed once before speaking, "Well, let the fight... begin! *cough*"

He stood to the side of the arena watching over the fight carefully for any sign of cheating, though his main job was to call it when someone won and to tell the camera what was happening if things got too strange.

Emo's eyes bugged out at the sight of Hayate standing there in all his coughing-ninja-glory. She had to suppress her "inner" fangirl and also try not to walk over to the brunet ninja and hand him some cough drops.

Besides, she doesn't have any cough drops anyway...
