There was really no question at all of what you would do. That light had to be something awesome; and your natural curiosity wouldn't let you just ignore it.

And so, you ran acrossed the hall to open the door.

What you saw was....really nearly impossible to describe, though for this record, we shall have to try.

It was something like looking at pure concentrated time. Except that time was invisible and shouldn't be something you should be able to see. However, you could see it anyway because there was nothing there BUT time. And it hurt your eyes to look at it cause it didn't look like anything but it existed nonetheless.

There. That's the least headache inducing explanation of what you saw.

As you were contemplating the implications of what you were looking at, you were suddenly pushed forward. Suddenly you found yourself falling through time itself. You found that bit perplexing. What kind of person sees a man looking into the very depths of time itself; and thinks "I should totally push them to see what happens!"

However, when you managed to turn your head in the direction of the door; you found that it was no longer there.

You start to wonder if there ever was a door. Perhapse you've always been falling through time; and everything before was just a silly dream.

However, you decide that that's completely ridiculous. The only thing more ridiculous would be if your entire backstory was decided by people on the internet on some kind of forum.

Well, you know that's ridiculous. You know who you are. You know that you really are a college student majoring in....er....what was it again?

A) Astronomy

B) Engineering

C) History

D) Dance

E) Something even less useful than dance.

F) Technically not majoring in anything; but dabbling in multiple subjects.

D) Dance. What do you mean dance isn't useful? It builds up agility and grace! And the ladies love a good dancer!

You are a dancer. You've always been a dancer, and you always will be.

Sure, you may have dabbled with a few non-dance related courses; like that course in chemistry; or that rather odd course about springs. But in your heart, you know that you were born to be a dancer.

Granted, you aren't exactly sure how those dance courses are going to help you in your current situation; but you're sure they'll come in handy.

As you look down (or in the direction you seem to be falling in, anyway); you notice a bright light. You can only hope that the light is some kind of exit to this dimension. Of course, it might also be some weird curtain of energy that burns you on contact. In any case, you're about to find out.

So, as we near the end of the "falling aimlessly through time and possibly space" portion of the CYOA, we must ask one final question. Then you can get around to the interesting parts.

As you fall towards a bright light that will either lead you out of this dimension or kill you, what do you do?

A) Scream.

B) Scream louder.

C) Attempt to swan dive into the light.

D) Raise your fist into the air, grin defiantly, and flip off time itself.

You raise your fist into the air; grin defiantly, and show the middle finger to the vast depths of time and space. If you’re going to die, or cease to exist, or whatever in this place; then you’ll go to the afterlife knowing that you went down doing something badass. If this is your last act, then it’s a great one.

However, at that point, you realize that dying, ceasing to exist, or floating through time forever are all entirely possible. At this point, the horror of the situation overwhelms you; and you ruin your previous act of awesomeness by screaming like a little girl.

AT that point, however, you realize that no one can hear you…which freaks you out more, and causes you to scream even louder. Unbeknownst to you; your screams manage to pierce through the void of time and space at several points. At several points in history, people have reported hearing a little girl screaming in terror; yet being unable to find them. What they were actually hearing was you.

After a few minutes of screaming, however, you realize that screaming like a scared little girl would be a horribly embarrassing way to die. As the hole gets closer, you decide that you only have one chance left to redeem what might be your final moments of life, or even existence.

You turn towards the light, put your hands together; and assume diving position.

You dive gracefully into the unknown…

As you exit the time vortex; you find yourself falling not down; but forward. You immediately crash into a man wearing some kind of armor; and fall to the ground.

As you get up, you notice that you are, in fact, surrounded by people in old-school armor that looks like a movie about ancient Greece. You turn to apologize to the man you crashed into; only to find that he is beyond caring. It seems that when you crashed into him; he fell forward and landed on the spear of the person who’d been standing in front of him.

Said person looks just as surprised as you are. However, he quickly regains his composure.

“I, Hector of Troy, have slain Achilles!” he declares, his words apparently translated to you in perfect English cause shut up. “With help from the Goddess of….”

He looks at you, as if expecting you to finish his sentence.

You get a sinking feeling in your stomach that you just changed the endings of some epic poems.

A) Explain to this Hector person that you are not a goddess; but a person from the future that just helped him by accident.

B) Take advantage of the situation; and declare yourself the goddess of big damned heroes.

C) Say that you aren’t a goddess; but were sent by the gods to help out and that you should really get going now cause you’re late for a meeting. Then run.

D) Explain to Hector that now is not the time to explain….for now is the time to loot the crap out of Achilles’ corpse. [/size]

B and D! Tell him that your the Goddess of Big Damned Heroes and that you will explain the rest later.... For now is the time to loot the crap out of Achilles' corpse!

B) Take advantage of the situation; and declare yourself the goddess Kawaii of animu. Who was turned into a mortal in order to observe the humans for the great Zeus.

"I am Goddess Kawai of Animu!" you declare, hoping they shall buy it. "But for the moment, I was sent here as a mortal by...uh...Zeus!"

Hector is staring at you incredulously, as if he's not quite sure whether he buys your story. You clearly need to say something he wants to hear. You think back to that time you read the Illiad for literature class in high school. What was it people in that story liked to do after killing their enemies?

"Now is not the time for explaining! Now is the time for...looting Achilles' corpse!" you declare.

Hector nods with agreement, and begins stripping Achilles of his rather nice armor. Apparently ancient Trojan warriors think alarmingly like D&D players.

However, as Hector begins to remove Achilles' armour; his friends start to advance towards you.

"Uh, maybe we should take that body and run...then loot it?" you suggest.

AT that point, several chariots rush towards the advancing Greeks; and a battle begins over Achilles' body.

Hector continues removing the armour; non-plussed by the battle around him.

"No, now is the time to drive the Greeks back into the sea. After I have removed his armor; I'll drag his body behind my chariot as I slay his friends by the thousands!"

He smiles at you.

"Come, oh great Kawai, and observe us humans in battle!" he said.

Thinking on this request, you....

A) Excused yourself from the battle by claiming you would rather observe the humans behind the city walls.

B) Demand that he return Achilles to his people for a decent funeral. Surely Achilles would (eventually) have done the same for him.

C) Demand that he give you Achilles armor as tribute. He'd have been killed without your "divine" intervention.

D) Ignore Hector, walk back to the city, and demand tribute in the form of Trojan women. A goddess has needs.

E) Tell him you'll watch from a safe distance. As you are not used to your mortal body, you are in need of much training before you can attempt going near a battle field. Also, ask for a sword just in case you need protection.

C( Tell him to give you the Armor and you won't have Zeus unleash a can of lightning on his ass.

He nods.

"Well, I shall see you after the battle, goddess," he says, before getting on his chariot, and riding off into battle.

You turn around, and walk towards the city of Troy.

After you enter the city; you are immediately lead towards the king's palace. Several people stare at you as you move along; wondering who this woman could be that walked into the city during a battle.

How do you react to these people?

A) Wave to them.

B) Keep walking.

C) Declare that they stop staring or you will use your goddess powers to smite them.

D) Reach into your pockets and throw whatever modern gadget happens to be inside them at the crowd.
