The Great Rush: Character Claim

Okay here's the jist, you can claim two characters from one universe. Those two characters will make a team for the race that will take place in this unknown world. Winning this race means you get any wish you want granted, no matter what it is. So yeah... preferably I want mostly anime or anime esque characters, but I may let some characters from other types of media in it.

Quick summary: She teaches comparative physics at the University. She doesn't look it, but she's already 18, which is quite young to be a professor. In Yumemi's world, all the forces such as gravity, electromagnetism, and atomic power have been resolved under a unified theory, which has been proven to explain all known forces in the world. Yumemi believes there may be a force that doesn't fit in this theory - "magic". However, when she announced her theory to the academic community, she became a laughingstock. Name of Character: Chiyuri Kitashirakawa
Name of Racing Team: The Grand Unified Physics
Series They're From: Touhou Project
Quick summary: A girl with a somewhat odd way with words. She's Yumemi's rather outspoken assistant; she seems to be able to speak frankly with her. She may look immature, but she's 15 (probably immature). She left graduate school and works as an assistant at a university. (In her world, you graduate from college at 11, and leave graduate school at 13.) She's specializing in comparative physics, so she's obviously pretty sharp.Right now her primary tasks are things like organizing the data Yumemi collects. Name of Character: Edward Elric
Name of Racing Team: Team Fullmetal
Series They're From: Fullmetal Alchemist
Quick summary: Edward Elric is the Fullmetal alchemist, and his reputation as such precedes him. However, as short as he is, everyone always mistakes his younger brother, who is much larger, as the FUllmetal Alchemist, which always leads to him shouting at one person or another about not calling him short. His alchemy is top notch, as well.

Name of Character: Alphonse Elric

Series They're From: Fullmetal Alchemist
Quick summary: Alphonse is childish, but has a strong sense of responsibility. He always helps those in need. His body was destroyed during a bad alchemy attempt to return his mother back to life, and he is now a hollow suit of armor. He is as skilled in Alchemy as his brother, having studied equally alongside him, and is also able to transmute without a transmutation circle.

Quick summary: Sven follows a strict code of chivalry: he is always respectful to women and children and acts very proper. He is often tortured by Train's capricious personality and is usually dragged into trouble and even more debt because of it. Sven is skilled in inventing and making innovative weapons and other various equipment.

Quick summary:A sweeper partnered with Sven. Train is a lighthearted, courageous man who is highly skilled with a gun. He has a large amount of killing intent that he honed from his days as a Chronos member. As a result, he often has sudden mood swings, going from carefree to serious in an instant.

Series They're From: Speed Racer
Quick summary: He hasn ever lost a race; his sponsor is his family business, which is doing very well thanks to his advertising. If he wins, he's not sure what he'll wish for. He's in this for the race itself, and to prove he's the best.

Series They're From: Speed Racer
Quick summary: Little does Speed know, Racer X is actually his long lost older brother, Rex Racer, who was not, in fact, killed years ago in a horrible car accident. If he wins, he won't really have much to wish for. He's in this to keep his foolish little brother from getting himself killed.

Quick summary: A man formerly of the Hidden Mist Village, he was forced to flee after a failed coup d'etat with his apprentice Haku. They became mercenaries, but eventually were killed in battle with Team 7 of the Hidden Leaf. He wields a giant blade, Kubikiri Hocho, and can use water-based ninjutsu.

Series They're From: Naruto
Quick summary: Zabuza's overtly feminine apprentice. He gave his life protecting Zabuza. He is as loyal as they come, though he's also as nice as they come. He can use ice-based ninjutsu, though it's implied he can also use water-based and wind-based ninjutsu as well. His weapons are needles that he throws with precision accuracy.

Series They're From: Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha

Quick summary: She is more of a thoughtful and somewhat naive girl. She has a deep, kind personality but later becomes much more mature and ladylike in StrikerS. Nanoha is also rather energetic and idealistic. A major aspect of Nanoha's personality is that she always tries to understand other people. As such, she's shown to always take a diplomatic approach to problems and tries to reason with her enemies at first. However, she's also shown to be a pragmatic heroine, as she's not afraid to use force if communication alone is not enough. She weilds an intelligent device called Raging Heart Excelion which specializes in long-range firepower. (taken from nanoha.wikia.com)

Name of Character: Fate Testarossa Harlaown

Name of Racing Team: Team Friendship

Series They're From: Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha

Quick summary: Fate is a very serious and strong-willed person. At first, she was rather cold to Nanoha, but starts to show her kind and protective side after realizing how much Nanoha has reached out to her. Learning of her own origins has led her to question herself, and at times wonder about her own worth, but after seeing Alicia in the Book Of Darkness, she has come to see herself as her own person. She is especially driven to solve incidents similar to the one that happened with her mother, and ensure that other children do not have to suffer like she did. Fate tends to worry about others fairly often, especially Nanoha in wake of the incident in which she was nearly crippled, and her children, Erio, Caro and Vivio. As a result, she is more permissive and protective. She wields an intelligent device called Bardiche Assault which provides her with a large variety of magic and can transform into different weapon forms. (Taken from nanoha.wikia.com)

Name of Character: Gokudera Hayato

Name of Racing Team: Team Vongola X

Series They're From: Katekyo Hitman Reborn

Quick summary: A young mafioso who is the illegitimate child of another well-known mafioso. Hayato had been in the mafia his whole life and he even made a reputation for himself as the Smokin' Bomb because of his expertise in creating and wielding dynamite. After his life was saved by the tenth heir of the Vongola family, he became the (self-proclaimed) right-hand man of said heir. He is loyal to the family (he will bomb anyone who hurts or insults them) and is an academic genius but he is hot-tempered, a bit jealous when it comes to Juudaime (as he calls the heir) hanging around other people, and is prone to jumping to conclusion and wild accusations. His biggest weakness is his older half-sister Bianchi; after eating too much of her poisoned cookies (long story) the sight of her face gives him extreme stomaches.

Name of Character: Yamamoto Takeshi

Name of Racing Team: Team Vongola X

Series They're From: Katekyo Hitman Reborn

Quick summary: The son of a sushi chef (slash former samurai) and a baseball prodigy. Takeshi is a not-so ordinary middle schooler who was thrust into the mafia world when the tenth Vongola heir saved his life. He inherited the Shigure Souen Ryu style from his father, was trained by the proclaimed Sword Emperor (who is part of the independent assassination squad of the Vongola family) and is a natural assassin himself (which he will eventually become in the future). Takeshi is carefree, a bit airheaded, and an all around nice guy who thinks that the mafia is just a game, but he is capable of becoming serious to the point of being scary. He is very loyal to his friends and even though he loves baseball with all his heart, he would give it up in the drop of a hat in order to be there for his friends and family.

Name of Character: Rip Van Winkle

Series They're From: Hellsing
Quick summary: A vampire woman who works for Nazis. She possesses a musket, which doesn't seem threatening at all. Said musket, however, fires Magic Bullets, which defy ballistics and strike multiple targets at once. She is an excellent singer, and favors opera.

Name of Racing Team: Team HEIL!
Series They're From: Hellsing
Quick summary: He apparently has no name, and is simply called "The Captain." He does not, however, need a name, for it is unlikely that any name could fit a werewolf as badass and powerful as him. He is, however, weak to silver, as werewolves are.
