Personality: Setsuka likes to play around when around friends and enemies alike. Much like her hidden blade, however, should you underestimate her you will feel her sharp wrath without warning.

Backstory: Setsuka was an orphan from England. Her father was a single businessman, and wound up having to take her along to Japan as an infant, where he left her. She was adopted by an old man named Jin Nakinoken and raised to be an assassin, for he was displeased with his grandson and wanted a better heir to his family business.

Weaponry: The katana hidden in her parasol, and a dagger as backup.

Name: Yoshimitsu Nakinoken

Personality: As an odd man, Yoshimitsu has odd mannerisms. He says 'namu' a lot, and is always wearing his mask. He is an unorthodox fighter, twirling his sword and sitting down to meditate in the middle of battle. He never seems to be flustered or embarrassed.

Backstory: Jin Nakinoken had but one grandchild. In his life of crime, he had but one daughter, who gave birth to Yoshimitsu. Yoshimitsu did not wish to serve his family as an assassin, instead, he wanted to steal from the rich and give to the poor, as a noble thief. He attempted to convert Setsuka to his cause as well, but failed.

Weaponry: A katana that is also named Yoshimitsu.

Name: Yoshida Sakura

Alias: Yin

Personality: Sakura, also known as Yin, has two different attitudes. When she's not on the job, she's cheerful and energetic, and a fan of various anime and manga. She enjoys hanging out with friends and has a knack for preparing food. When Yin is on the job she is very reserved and polite, especially if she has to spend time with the person who hired her. She wears a flowery green yukata when she's on the job. Sakura hates killing unecessarily. While she always kills her target, she avoids killing the target's hired guards.

Backstory: For most of her life, Yin was a normal girl. However, when she hit ten years old, her older brother Yoshida Kazuhiro coerced her into assassin work. She spent her life from that point on rationalizing the fact that she was killing very, very bad people, and refining her assassin work. She developed a persona for herself when she's on the job, both to help hide her real identity and to cultivate respect for herself and her job despite her young age. Sakura recently discovered that her brother was a murderous madman who had killed innocents, and that he had been killed on a recent mission. She has not mourned him or missed him since due to his murder of innocent people.

Weaponry: Sakura has two katana, one nicknamed Rei-chan and the other Kei-chan.

Name: Takano Kiyoko

Personality: Kiyoko is extremely polite, kind, shy and a doormat. She's likely to apologise for things that couldn't possibly be her fault, even if they don't warrant an apology. On the job, she won't kill anyone but her target, waiting however long is needed for a good shot. She tends to think about various things aloud when she's waiting for her target to appear, which can be somewhat unsettling for anyone with her. Especially if she cuts herself off in the middle of a word to apologise to her target.

Backstory: Kiyoko's life has been fairly normal for the most part. She grew up in a normal town with her parents, an older brother and a younger sister. Several years ago, something occurred that made her become an assassin, however, despite her doormatness, she refuses to reveal the nature of this event to anyone.

Weaponry: An anti-materiel rifle.

Name: Ashley "Ash" Heralds

Alias: Papilio (Latin for butterfly)

Personality: He is a gentleman to both men and women (though is more attracted to the former) and is very polite when one first meets him. But once he gets comfortable around a person, he is sarcastic, usually plays the devil's advocate, seems just a bit pessimistic, and enjoys black humor. He likes to kill, but of course he draws the line at innocents. That doesn't stop him from killing mooks and grunts of course. If anyone gets in his way of a target, he will either kill them or main them. Despite all that, his hobby is gardening and he has a very large sweet tooth. Oh, and he hates it when his name is made fun of (it's a perfectly legitimate name for a man and it is not just for girls! Don't you know Old English?!)

Backstory: Ash grew up in the streets as an orphan, but was soon taken in by a man in a smiling mask. The man trained him as an assassin, teaching the then boy everything he knew, and when he passed on, Ash took up his moniker as Papilio. Ash discovered that the man was part of a long line of assassins who call themselves Papilio and who all used the same weapons. But since the man who raised him had no children and was dying of cancer, Ash was adopted and trained instead, which honors him greatly because despite rigorous and disciplined training, he lived a good life with his adoptive father.

Weaponry: The Papilios have invented a type of golem in the shape of a butterfly (aptly named the Hell Butterfly) that can eat through any surface (including flesh), carry messages, and when a number of them morph together they can form a weapon of the wielder's choosing. And though not a weapon, Ash wears a mask as Papilio that reflects his emotions (sad face for sadness or disappointment, angry face for anger, confused face for confusion, etc) though the default face is a happy, smiling one.

Name: Jack Brant

Personality: Brant is impulsive, aggressive and willing to bully people into doing what he wants whilst spouting expletives at them. He shows little remorse for his rule breaking and seems to have little regard for his safety which may be caused by his almost superhuman endurance, but his disregard to safety seems to to extend to that of the people around him. In fact, he seems to display all the traits of someone with Antisocial behavior disorder. His preferred fighting style is a hand to hand mixture of boxing, kickboxing, Jiu-Jitsu, wrestling and judo. Despite his behavior, he is not stupid, and is good at working out how someone fights, as well as being fairly well read and having good general knowledge. He relies on gut instinct which he attributes to having to avoid being knifed in the kidneys every other day. His aggressiveness makes him very good at intimidating people, an ability he is very willing to exploit, and incorporates into his fighting style as a type of psychological warfare.

Bio: Jack grew up in south east London, a rough part of the world. Even as a young child he displayed a talent for fighting, being able to take on several children at once, which he demonstrated on several occasions. His ferocity when fighting was noticed by one of his school teachers who taught him to fight in the hope that he would focus his aggression into controlled situations.

He learned impressively fast, but did not focus into arranged fights and instead used it to take on tougher opponents, ending up expelled from his school. After this, he continued to bounce around schools until one day, after he had completed his high school education, he snapped in public and knocked out a nightclub bouncer.

This didn't go unnoticed, as after this, he was approached by a Japanese man, who offered him money to go to Japan and fight for him. Not caring who, Brant agreed and flew off to Japan, where he discovered he wasn't fighting, but killing a Yakuza boss, and that said mobster had found out and put a bounty out on Brant's head. Brant spent the next six months learning the darker secrets of Japan, and how to blend into crowds, inadvertently becoming a sort of assassin. Despite this, Brant has never killed anyone, but seems to have no qualms about doing so.

He was given his alias by a German man he fought, one of the few people to defeat him, who compared his speed, strength and energy to lightning.

Weapons: Brant possesses, but rarely uses, weighted knuckle gloves, knuckledusters and a spring-loaded knife that was once lodged in his thigh.
