So basically a RP set in feudal japan, Japanese mythological creatures welcomed. Hrm.... I'll come up with a plot later.

Name: Tamuro, Eiji
Age: 18
Gender: Male

Personality: He is a mischievous flirt, who loves to tease others, especially if they're straight males. He is a fun loving guy and rarely takes things seriously. The only time you will ever see him serious is when he's in a fight, but even then he will toy with his opponent.
Weapon: Tsurugi no Kasai - a double-edged blade of fire. Will encase itself in flames at the whim of it's wielder. This sword belonged to Eiji's Master before he was killed.
Bio: He was once an aspiring samurai working under a kind master who took care of the boy. He was taught how to fight and even joined his master in many battles, and seem to enjoy the thrill of fighting. But one day, he and his master was attacked and killed in an ambush. They both fought bravely, but the master fell and Eiji himself barely escaped. Now he is a traveling ronin, doing whatever he can to earn money. Either by exterminating minor youkai or by helping a daimyo in the battlefield for a small fee.
Abilities: Surprisingly, he's quite good at cooking having survived on his own for so long. Otherwise, he's an excellent swordsman and acrobat. His fighting style being a strange combination of dance, martial arts, and sword fighting.

Name: Kusatsu, Nanami
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Race: Half-Youkai, specifically a bat youkai
Appearance:

Personality: Nanami is a calm, very practical person. She is naturally distrusting of others and will act cold or aloof to distance herself further from them. Though this cold front is just a guise, Nanami can become easily flustered or embarrassed making her lose her usual composure.
Weapon: A simple naginata
Bio: She is the daughter of a miko and a bat youkai, however, Nanami herself doesn't know of her origins. Her mother was once a respected woman in the village, but she was seduced by a youkai and bore his child, making many hate her and the child. The villagers shunned Nanami, yet never really told the child why they were shunning her, so she had to learn to harden her heart to others. She believed by doing so, that she wouldn't feel the pain of their words. One day, a traveling warlord destroyed her village and her mother was murdered before she could find out anything about her heritage. Now she travels the land, hoping to get revenge on the ones who caused her mothers death. Even though she still doesn't realize the truth about her origins, her abilities have shown themselves from time to time, possibly why she is the only one of her village to survive the attack.
Abilties: As a half-youkai, she has some magical abilities of her own, but she has no control over them nor does she realize she even has them. One such ability is to grow bat like wings out of her back, and another is to manipulate sound waves, she could even cause the sound waves to break magical barriers.

Her other abilities include some minor miko training from her mother. This includes the expelling of evil spirits, sealing, etc. She also has some minor training in the use of a naginata, being a weapon that was traditionally taught to women in the village so they could protect it during times of war when the men were gone.

Name: Okamoto, Chitose
Age: 9
Gender: Female

Personality: She is a bright and cheerful child who tries her best to put on a brave face even if the situation gets scary. She looks up to Nanami like a big sister, even calling her Nanami-neesan. She loves being helpful and will do everything she can to make herself useful, especially when it comes to helping Nanami. She's pretty smart for her age and has a small interest in trap making.
Weapon: None
Bio: Chitose is a small child that Nanami found during her travels. The girls village had pretty much been destroyed much like Nanami's thanks to the feudal wars between daimyos. Chitose would have probably been killed by the those ruthless warriors who had destroyed the village if the older girl had not got there in time to save her. Now the little girl insists on following Nanami around and tries her best to be helpful.
Abilties: She isn't very good at fighting, but she is good at setting traps and thinking up distractions.

Name: Akkio Taibukouma
Age: 1395, appears to be in his twenties.
Gender: Male
Race: Youkai
Appearance:
It tends to change depending on the human he consumes. As of now, he appears as nothing more than your average villager with short, dark hair, dull brown eyes, and rather unassuming features. Except when he grins, then there's something almost demonic about him. He wears a simple robe and geta.
Personality:
He has a sense of superiority over humans, which may show if he ever compares humans and demons in conversation. While he is capable of respecting certain humans for whatever reason, they're more like exceptions.
Otherwise, he tends to be neutral in addressing both humans and youkai. Not overly polite, but rarely insulting. If you're the type to follow your ideas without waver, he'll treat you almost like a lord, regardless of species and what those ideals might be.
Weapon: None.
Bio:
A youkai whose power is based on 'chaos' or general unrest. War is a great source for his strength. More 'peaceful' times de-power him greatly, so Akkio tends to take it upon himself to instigate fighting and misery throughout the land through manipulations. He can be pretty powerful, even for a youkai, at his peak, and his worst has him barely any stronger than a human before his life is at risk of fading to nothingness.
Abilties:
Akkio can take the form of the last human he devours, though not necessarily their mannerisms and such. He rarely takes the visage of important warlords and such unless he's aiming to ruin one's reputation or frighten others with a vastly different characterisation.

Name: Kodachi, though there is, in fact, nothing small about her. Family name? That would imply that she has a family.
Age: 112 and therefore functionally 12.
Gender: Female or Neither. Depends what you think about her.
Race: Tsukumogami. Specifically, she’s a sword that has been left alone for over a hundred years right after being made. Poor thing. Oh well.
Appearance:

Personality: Despite being a weapon made for war, Kodachi never actually got used to kill anyone, and therefore is terrified of actually getting in any fights. She gets lonely easily and is rather clingy but, for the most part, is friendly towards people she meets.
Weapon: Herself. She’s absurdly sharp when swung, to the point that any normal blade had best get out of the way. Kodachi is actually wielded by Junko most of the time.
Bio: Forged by Masamune, of all people, she’s probably one of the finest swords to have ever been forged. However, the sword never went to anyone and was inexplicably forgotten about. Eventually, Junko found the cupboard she was in and they’ve been together ever since.
Abilities: Being sharp. XD

Name: Junko Izumi/Izumi Junko
Age: ~700
Gender: Female
Race: Oni

Personality: Junko is… odd. She’s loud, boisterous, and a drunkard—all traits expected of an oni—but she also clings tightly to the behaviour expected of a samurai (not that anyone would ever employ her as one) and protective of children and the young. She’s extremely likely to wander around challenging random people to duels, then sparing their lives and mooching off them for a week in return.
Weapon: Aside from Kodachi, Junko has that huge… thing that’s actually her grandfather’s toothpick. Whilst not magical in any way, it’s amazingly strong and heavy and she tends to use it as her main weapon. Dual-wielding with Kodachi is reserved solely for use against magical weaponry.
Bio: For years, Junko just sort of… hung around, doing stuff. Drinking, mostly, but then stories of samurai filtered down to her. After getting her grandfather’s toothpick off of him (he didn’t need it, he’s the Daidarabotchi and kept misplacing the thing) and getting her father to help remove the end to make a usable sword, she promised to try and become a proper samurai before she came home. In the following twenty years, she’s had little luck with that (being female and all) but has at least picked up the skills, as well as a follower.
Abilities: Junko is a competent swordsman and has a brilliant eye for quality, but most of her strength lies in being an oni. Her physical strength and endurance are practically peerless and her pain tolerance (she cut off her horns to blend in better) makes her even harder to actually kill. She prefers non-lethal ends to duels and the like, however. Do not engage her in a drinking contest.

Name: Wanaide Araiguma
Age: 220
Gender: Female
Race: Tanuki

Personality: Jolly and cheerful, Wanai is never far from a bottle of sake. She's nice to most everyone, if a tad bit gullible and too trusting of people.
Weapon: None
Bio: Wanai grew bored of her Tanuki village at a young age, and left at the first chance she got, with her grandfather on a journey to see the world. Though a kind old man, her grandpa pulled a lot of pranks on humans, one of which led him to be sealed inside a tanuki statue along the side of the road by a shrine priestess, where he still remains to this day. Wanai decided she would finish the journey on her own, and try to find a way to free her grandpa.
Abilties: Like all tanuki, Wanai can shapeshift and is fairly good at illusions. She also carries her grandfather's magical leaf, which she can transform into any object, as well as transform other objects for a few minutes. She lacks any sort of fighting skill, however, and thus relies on trickery to beat her opponents.
