Come here and discuss anything about yaoi, from your favorite yaoi fic to your favorite pairing. Just remember to be courteous of others and do not offend anyone on this forum.

I find it depressing that there are few good yaoi anime out there. And I mean yaoi anime with sex in it. (Hey, I'm a teenager with raging hormones. >.>)

Most yaoi anime out there are censored or contain muscular men (not too muscular mind you, but you get what I mean) which is a bit disappointing for a girl who likes bishounen.

The only OVA's I've seen that are really PWP and uncensored are Sensitive Pornograph (which you can never find full-length on youtube or with English subs >.>) and Enzai (I think that's a name...). The rest are either manly men (more or less it's from way back) or if not, then its censored...

At least there's an abundance of yaoi manga out there... but I still mourn for anime because it has sound and moving pictures XP

I prefer anime for the animation as well.

Has anyone around here seen Boku no Pico?

I haven't... at least not the whole thing. I've seen snippets of it from AMV's on YouTube and I know the gist of the storyline due to TvTropes and Wikipedia.

I know there's another one with Pico, only it has another boy too. I think its entitled Pico x [name of other boy] or something like that.

I remember watching this other yaoi anime, though I totally forgot the name. Its animated nicely, has some humor as well as action and though its drawn realistically the main guys are so bishie!

It's about a yakuza heir who gets married to a childhood friend of his out of obligation (said childhood friend being older than him, thinking of the heir only as a younger brother, and having a quite the temper) and he has a one night stand with the captain of the cruise ship the wedding was held on.

The second part he meets the captain again in Italy (I think that's where the cruise was heading) and through a series of events (mainly kidnapping and near-rape) the captain saves him, they make beautiful music together (mostly to get the drugs of out the heir's system XD), and Mr. Blond Captain lovingly holds Mr. Yakuza Heir in his arms as they watch the sun rise and wait for their helicopter ride.

Sweet, funny, and the captain seems like a bit of a ditz. There's also this one scene where some of the background characters speak English but it was so horrifying I laughed my ass off. XDDD

I absolutely have no idea why mangaka's would do that. Though manga's are one thing and anime the other.

Anyway, I'm sure it's partly the mangaka's thing, partly some sort of seme/uke thing that's vague and no one really understands, partly to show WHO the seme is, partly to show that the uke is a fucking feminine tiny one with ALL THE FEELS, and partly many other things I will not deign to list down (some of which are sexual in nature).
