Planet Earth, a peaceful planet untouched by the other warring planets in the galaxy looking to take more land for their own. A planet that lives blissfully unaware of the dangers that soon await them. Instead, people from far and wide have gathered for this year's Tenkaichi Budokai. Everyone was looking forward to this bout of warriors, this test to see who was the strongest of them all.

Among these participants was a tanned girl dragging along a reluctant boy. Finally she stopped, smacking the shorter boy hard on the head, "Quit your complaining, you're joining this tournament too."

"O-ow, I'd much rather cheer you on at the side lines," The boy complained, still trying to struggle out of the girl's grasp, "Besides, you'll just beat me if someone else doesn't."

"Good point... but you're still signing up," She tightened her grip on him and continued to drag him to the sign up table.

Shujiko really hoped at least one of these warriors were worth her time.

Having just finished signing herself in, Shujiko had stepped away from the table to watch others approach, trying to gauge their strength from looks alone. From where she came from, Shujiko was by far the strongest, and it was god-awfully dull, having no challenge whatsoever. Her training had waned because of it, but even then no one could beat her.

There simply had to be someone strong here...

A young-looking dark haired girl stood in front of one of the signup tables to the tournament, the tip of her tail, which was currently wrapped around her waist like a belt, twitching as she pondered. While not a typically hostile nature, this tournament could be an enlightening experience, wit ha variety of peoples giving it their all to try and win.. some sort of fantastic prize or some such, she didn't really pay attention to that part.

No, while Shall was a full-blooded Saiyan and was raised on the same home-world, she didn't not possess their hot-blooded nature, which was both a gift and a curse, depending on which circles she decided to hang about in.

All this introspective gibberish wasn't really helping, though, as she was kind of holding up the line. Oops. Deciding the worst thing that could happen was losing, the young woman signed her name on the sheet and received her number, which she folded once before slipping it into the pocket of her coat.

She stepped backwards out of the way as an eager girl and her friend came up behind her, apparently also here to sign up.

Off to the side stood another competitor, a young Nameikan who had already signed up earlier today. Here to test his skills, he seemed indifferent to idle conversation.

Really, he had come here by himself and he wasn't the best as small-talk or making friends.

Android 12 would have preferred being almost anywhere else at this moment in time. But alas, here he was, approaching the sign up table for the Tenkaichi Budokai. The last several nights had been rather rough on him, as the tournament drew nearer, the number of people in the area who thought highly of their fighting skills increased. As such, the machine had about half a dozen people with broken limbs demanding payment for the loss of their chance at victory here. Cursing the fact that they had successfully coerced...well, worded certain insults well enough to force him to join the tournament.

It's not like any of them would've made it past the first round anyway...

Hama wore a smug grin as he surveyed the other contestants. He hoped that they would at the very least provide him with a challenge. However, he knew that they would be no match for him, as he was HAMA! BADASS UNIVERSAL ADVENTURER! Or at least, that's what it said on his business card anyway.

As he approached the sign up table, he began to speak.

"HELLO, EARTH CREATURES! BEHOLD YOUR GOOD FORTUNE AS I, HAMA, UNIVERSAL ADVENTURER, DINOSAUR PUNCHER, ROBOT SMASHER, PLANET RESCUER, AND SANDWICH MAKER HAVE DECIDED TO PARTAKE IN YOUR TOURNAMENT!" he said.
