Vocaloid: A Musical Adventure Empty Vocaloid: A Musical Adventure

Post by NazrinTsunMouse Thu 29 Nov 2012, 5:50 pm

Thousands of years ago there was once a powerful magic in the world called Mystic Hymns. However, over the years, use of that great magic had died away becoming nearly nonexistent. Or at least it was. Recently the magic has reappeared in a select few individuals. But not everyone who uses this magic had good intentions.

------

A young woman sat on the edge of the dock, her legs swung above the waters below. Her pinkish gray hair hair blew in the salty, ocean breeze. The environment was calm and peaceful, a perfect place to just sit and think. She could spend hours here only listening to the music in her mp3 player while her mind wandered all over the place. Currently she was day dreaming about a story she had heard once.

It was about a wise songstress who traveled the world and gave guidance to the people she met on her travels. When IA was a child, she wanted to be just like that songstress. Traveling the world, helping others. It sounded so exciting to her, and it still does.

IA let out a sigh, turning her head up to the sky. If only she had the means to get out this town. She'd give anything to just be able to sprout wings and take off into the horizon.

----

Mizki was in the kitchen preparing lunch for her younger brother and his friend. This would be her first time meeting this Gakupo person. Though, with the great detail in which her brother spoke of him, she felt as if she already knew the man. Even though Yuuma denied it, he seemed to really like Gakupo. It was almost as if he was a school girl with a crush.

She giggled at the image of her brother as a school girl. It was just too hilarious, especially with that usually serious face of his.

Ah! She almost forgot the seasoning in this soup. Now where did she put it...

She opened a few cabinets until she found it, sitting there on the top shelf. The pink haired woman tried to stand on her tip toes to grab it. No good. She tried again, this time trying with all her might to stretch. Still no good. She silently cursed her shortness.

-----

Today was a very good day for Rin. Most of the stores in the shopping district were having sales. And lucky for her, she just so happened to have a nice younger brother who could help carry bags for her.

Well, not all of what she bought was for her. She had gotten Len something when he wasn't looking. She wanted it to be a surprise, for being nice enough to come out with her today.

"Hey, Len, let's go into this store next," She said, pointing to what appeared to be an occult store. Not that she was into that kind of stuff. It just wouldn't hurt to see what it had in there.

Vocaloid: A Musical Adventure Empty Re: Vocaloid: A Musical Adventure

"Hmmm. Hmm. Hmmmmm~" she hums to herself all alone as she stalks along the water. Her head draped over in a purple hoodie. Rabbit ears that seem to have a mind of their own as they twitch.

"Hm hm hm." her song grew in intensity as she looked up to see the same blue sky that everyone around her saw. No, saying it was the same was a 'bit' of a stretch. Not many people saw what she did. What Yukari Yuzuki did. Her view on the world was a bit more 'loose'. Free from the thoughts of others. It was hard to describe so she never put any effort into helping others understand. "Hmm..." Yuzuki pulled her headphones off of her head, letting them fall down to her shoulders.

"Heyo." she said to her long time friend IA who sat there, looking up at the sky she had just pulled her eyes from. "Yooooooooo..."

Vocaloid: A Musical Adventure Empty Re: Vocaloid: A Musical Adventure

Yuma strolled into the kitchen, a hand covering the yawn that escaped from his mouth. He had just woken up and now he was hungry for breakfast... er lunch. He had stayed up half the night practicing his sword techniques and the other half being distracted from sleep by the internet. Good thing it was a weekend and he was allowed to sleep in, otherwise he wouldn't have gotten any sleep at all.

"Morning..." Yuma started to say but trailed off when he spotted his sister struggling to reach for a bottle of seasoning on the top shelf. He quickly darted forward and grabbed the bottle as well as placed a hand on his sister's shoulder, preventing both from falling over. "Really Sis," he sighed, bringing the seasoning down from its perch. "You could at least have gotten a stool or something."

~

Len resisted the urge to sigh loudly. Rin was energetic in her shopping on any day. Both his hands were already full of bags and he had a two shoe boxes balanced on his head. He was regretting his decision to accompany his sister in her shopping spree, but giving in was the only way to shut her up.

Still, when Rin pointed out their next destination, Len couldn't help but feel that maybe the trip was worth it. He only had a passive interest in the occult, but he wouldn't pass up a chance to take a look around a shop like that. Besides, maybe he can rest inside as well. He was sure there were welts in his hands by now from the strings of the bags he was carrying.

"Fine, but this better be the last shop we're going in," he said to his twin as he followed her inside. "I'm hungry and tired and I want to go home soon."

Vocaloid: A Musical Adventure Empty Re: Vocaloid: A Musical Adventure

Gakupo was walking down the street, humming to himself an upbeat melody. This was not representative of his mood, it was just that it was a sunny day and therefore an upbeat melody matched it well. He wasn't in a bad mood though, as he was on his way to see his friend.

He thought back to some recent events he'd been through, some of which he thought worth mentioning to Yuma. He turned a corner and walked up to his friend's house, before knocking on the door.

--------

Ruko was poking a small hand that was sitting on a shelf. It was supposedly the hand of a deceased shaman, which gave it supposed special properties. But she was frowning sort of, since she'd never seen or heard anything about the hand of a shaman being worth anything magically. Still, it wasn't very expensive, and it was very creepy. Might make a good decoration? She shrugged as she turned around to look at other things around the shop, but stayed clear of the old shopkeeper.

The shopkeeper had mentioned something to her about being 'blessed' or some such, and that it most definitely had something to do with her differently colored yet perfectly working eyes. She had simply rolled her eyes at such nonsense. What special blessings could she possibly have?

---------

Bruno was at a gym, working on a punching bag, causing a number of people, particularly females, to take notice of his quick moves. They were like a rhythm, but with the tempo turned way up. As he delivered one swift kick to the side of it, sending it swinging a little, he smiled and gave a little nod.

"That should be enough for the day," he wiped his forehead with a towel and moved towards the showers, "Just a quick rinse, wouldn't want to be late," he smiled at the thought of his meeting coming up soon that day.

He stepped out of the showers, and was in his favorite outfit, fedora and all, as he made his way to the door. A girl was walking towards him, but he simply gave her a wink before quickly moving out of the door and making a quick escape. He had no intention of being late due to flirting, that would be particularly bad manners.

He quickly made his way through the streets, reaching the shopping district, though not before grabbing a rose. He looked left and right, "Now she should be right around here somewhere..."

---------

Yuki was sitting at the table in her kitchen, rocking her legs back and forth under the table, waiting for the delicious lunch she knew Piko was cooking for her. She was humming a dark tune, but she had a bright smile on her face, as if she didn't realize the implications of this particular style of music she was humming, "Miki," She addressed the other girl in the room, "When do you think he'll be done?"

Vocaloid: A Musical Adventure Empty Re: Vocaloid: A Musical Adventure

IA didn't seem to hear her long time friend as she still had ear buds in her ear loudly playing music. Instead she continue to freely swing her feet and daydream as stared up at the sky. When IA was in daydream mode, she tended to completely forget her surroundings, much to the chagrin of others. People had often told her that she would get in trouble one of these days because of her daydreams. Not that she actually paid them any mind.

-----

"I don't like standing on a stool, they always make me feel like I'm going to fall," She replied taking the bottle from her brother, "Besides, I don't need one when I have such a helpful little brother around. Thank you."

She smiled at him brightly before getting back to her cooking, "Your friend should be here soon, you should go get ready quickly." It was then that a knock was heard at the door, "Oh! That must be him now!"

----

"Fine, fine, after this how about I treat you to lunch?" Rin conceded, hopefully she'd hear less complaints with the notion of free food to sate her brother. With that said and done, they bother entered the shop. The blonde took a curious glance around. This was definitely what you'd expect out of an occult shop. Dark and creepy with an assortment of objects she had seen in most movies about magic and the like. Rin had yet to take notice of the other customer in the shop.

"May I help you?" An old woman ask, apparently the shopkeeper.

Rin shook her head, "Just looking around."

The woman nodded her head in understanding, "Very well, come see me when you need something, Blessed Singer."

Now that made Rin pause as she glanced back at her brother, then rolled her eyes as if to say "She's one of THOSE."

----

Clara was indeed in the shopping district as agreed upon. She stood near the fountain in the middle of the district. She had yet to notice the arrival of her boyfriend as her back was turned toward him.

----

"He should be done soon, Yuki-chan. Just wait your hungry little tummy a bit longer~" The maid replied in a cheery and sing songy voice, obviously used to the creepy songs her mistress liked to hum. She then proceeded to place out the silverware. It was at that moment the doors were pushed open as a effeminate boy in an equally effeminate butler outfit rolled a cart into the room.

"Lunch is served, Yuki-tan," The white haired boy said in a high pitch and airy tone that gave the impression of someone who spaced out a lot. He lifted up the silver lid to reveal the delicious steamy food underneath it.

Yuzuki decided to respond with the only course of action available to her. Both hands began to float near IA's head. They lie there dormant as they wait for the opportune time to strike.

Three.

Two.

One.

Vocaloid: A Musical Adventure Empty Re: Vocaloid: A Musical Adventure

Yuma sighed and idly thought about troublesome siblings when he heard the knock. He had a brief (very brief) moment of panic at the thought that Gakupo was here, at his house, right at that moment, while he was still in his pajamas, but he pushed it away.

Nodding at his sister, Yuma went to the front door and opened it to the visage of Gakupo and his raised fist, no doubt about to knock for a second time.

"Hey," Yuma said in his usual deadpan "I don't really care" tone of voice. "C'mon on in. Sis is eager to meet you."

He stepped aside for Gakupo, letting his eyes flit over the taller man's person for a second. Yuma had to admit he looked good today.

~

Len only shrugged at Rin, not knowing how to respond to the woman's vagueness.

Are all old ladies in dingy shops always so vague?

Leaving his sister to her devices, Len placed the bags and shoeboxes onto a convenient chair before going around the shop. He eyed the crystal balls and dusty tomes and one really scary but still kinda cool demon figurine. And though most of the things in the shop were cool, he didn't find anything interesting enough to buy just for him.

"Hello," Gakupo responded, smiling at his friend, "Feeling rather casual today, I see?" He said, in reference to the fact that Yuma had answered the door in his clearly-slept-in-clothes. He walked in past Yuma, not really worried too much about it. Though he did think it was kind of cute.

He waved at the other person in the house, "Hello Mizki, nice to see you," he said.

-----

Ruko sighed. Nothing in here was all that great. What a waste of time. She saw some other people walk in, and overheard the shopkeep's weird words. Ah, she gets it now. She just does that to add to the effect of the shop. Ruko smiled at that, it made her happy somehow.

"She's weird, huh?" Ruko asked Len, who had wandered near her.

-----

Bruno caught sight of Clara by the fountain, and grinned. She hadn't noticed him yet, good. He put the rose in his mouth for safekeeping, and got right behind Clara. He covered her eyes with his hands and said, "Insert cliche'd greeting here, senorita,"

-----

"Yay~" Yuki smiled brightly as the food was placed in front of her, "Thank you for the meal~!" she continued humming as she began eating.
