What do you do when you are bored? "I'm never bored as long as I have my friends and my machines~"
Re: Character Q&As
Branda Edmunds
What about you is heroic? "Absolutely nothing. Heroism is for idiots who want to die."
What about you is social? What do you like about people? "I'm really not that social. I have a few friends here and there, but I won't strike up conversation with someone I just met."
Of what benefit could you be to the current group? "I don't think I'm much of a benefit. Really, I benefit from them more than they do from me."

What is your real, birth name? "Branda Edmunds."
Do you have a nickname? What is it, and where did you get it? "Abby sometimes calls me Brandy just to annoy me. I don't really like going by anything other than my given name."
What do you look like? "Can't you tell? Fine, fine. Black hair, blue eyes... er well they used to be blue, one of them turned red because of circumstances. Otherwise, I'm pretty average looking."
How do you dress most of the time? "Pants, shirts, basically anything that's not too loose as to get in the way or too constricting."

Where do you live? "An old apartment building Abby and her father helped me get."
Do you own a car? "I wish. Only the rich own cars and even then they're still hard to come by."
What is your most prized mundane possession? Why do you value it so much? "Well there's this necklace my daughter made me out of string and some spare gears from Abby's workshop. I don't go anywhere without it. I like to think it keeps her close to my heart. Cheesy, right?"

What was your family like? "They were and probably still are pretty normal. I don't think they were much different from any other family."
Who was your father, and what was he like? "My father is Thomas Edmunds. He was a quiet man and very stern with me and my sister, but we could tell he cared for us deeply. Even so, I... I didn't show him the respect he deserved."
Who was your mother, and what was she like? "Karen Edmunds, my mother, was a very gentle woman who tried her best to keep our family together. I don't even want to imagine the kind of face she made when she realized I was gona and she had failed..."
What was your parents marriage like? "I can't say I paid too much attention to that, but I assume they had a good marriage. Even though they got into fights occassionally, they always made up right after. I can only hope most of the fighting ended after I left."
What were your siblings names? What were they like? "I only have a younger sister, Laura is her name. She was a lot like our mother, a very sweet girl."

Any non-family member adults stick out in your mind? Who were they, and how did you know them? Why do they stick out? "No one that I can think of. Father had liked to keep us close to home. Thinking back on it, he probably had some trust issues."
Who was your best friend when you were growing up? "Like I said, Father liked to keep us close to home so we didn't get to play with many other kids. In a way, I guess you could say my best and only friend had been my sister."
How old were you when you went on your first date? "I was fifteen. It wasn't as cracked up as people make it out to be. It was no different than hanging out with a friend."
It is common for one's view of authority to develop in their adolescent years What is your view of authority, and what event most affected it? "I used to be one of those rebelious teens, you know. Stupid, right? I really was just a stupid kid who didn't know what she had until she fucked up. And I had still been a stupid kid up until the point I had met the old man. Back then, I had kicked him, I don't even remember why. I was sure he was gonna hit me and he would have too if he didn't realize my condition. Instead he brought me to his home, gave me food to eat and a place to sleep. I think that's when I finally decided to stop being a stupid kid."
Do you have a job? What is it? Do you like it? "I work as a Bounty Hunter and while I won't say that I like or dislike it, I can't deny how satisfying it is to vent my frustrations on some worthless criminals."
Do you tend to save or spend your money? "I save when I can, but we rarely have much money left over even with all the bounties I bring in."
What hobbies do you have? "I don't have any unless you count beating up thugs as a hobby."
Who is your closest mundane friend? "Closest friend, huh? I suppose that would be Abby. She's been there for me through my toughest times. She was even there to freak out for me when my daughter decided it was time to leave the womb. Though I could have done without her fainting right after."
Who is your worst mundane enemy? "Well, she's less an enemy and more an annoying pest, but I have to say that Livia counts. The girl just doesn't know how to shut up and stop questioning my methods."
Read any good books? "I really don't have much time to read."
When it comes to mundane politics, do you care? "Not really. I'm more concerned with my daughter's safety than some old men fighting over who gets to play leader."
What annoys you more than anything else? "Complete disregard for a child's safety. There's nothing that gets me more pissed off other than that child being my daughter."
What would be the perfect gift for you? "You know that car that was mentioned earlie- Yeah okay, not really. I'd just settle for a new sword."

What time of day is your favorite? "The night time, not even sure why I like it. I just do."

How would you like to look? "I'm not interested in changing myself to look 'prettier' to other people."

Who was the first person you had sex with? When did it happen? What was it like? How well did it go? "I kinda don't like talking about it. I'll just say he was just some local farmboy that I dated a few times, things happened and I got angry at my dad. I regret why I did it, but I don't regret doing it."
Do you currently have a lover? "No, I'm not interested in dating and romance."

What's the worst thing that can be done to another person? Why? "Being forced to watch a loved one die. I can think of no greater pain than that."
What's the worst thing you could actually do to someone you hated? "The worst? You don't want to know the worst I could do."
Are you a better leader or follower? Why do you think that? "I know I make a crappy leader and I don't really care for following someone else, so neither."
What is your responsibility to the world, if any? Why do you think that? "Hah! Me responsible for the world? The world can take care of it's damn self. My only responsibility is to my daughter."
Do you think redemption is possible? "Some can be redeemed while others are better off dead."
Is it okay for you to cry? "There's nothing wrong with crying, I just refuse to cry in front of anyone else, especially my daughter."

Do you have a mentor? Who are they? How did you become their student? "Yeah I do, the old sheriff is the one who taught me everything I know. What is your current long term goal? "Protecting my daughter."
What is your current short term goal? "Again, protecting my daughter."
If you were a mundane person, what would you do with your life? What occupation would you want, and how would you spend all your time? "I'd probably be back on the farm, married to Mel's father. Buuh, I get shivers thinking about it. I would hate that kind of life."

19. What annoys you more than anything else?
“People who think that someone’s worthless just because they’re not powerful. Just thinking about bastards like that makes me angry!”
20. What's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?
“The first time I successfully did magic. Mana is hard to cast with, and I’d been working really hard, so when I cast a spell that turned some into a beam, it just looked beautiful to me!”
21. What kind of weather is your favorite?
“I like nice, sunny days. I means I can spend more time outside!”
22. Would you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else? Why?
“… Why… wh-why are you asking this?! It’s… I… whatever! It’s… not like it matters… if I end up loving someone, it doesn’t matter who it is, right? So… so… loving a girl is just fine!”
23. Have you ever been in a physical fight before? Over what, with who, and who won?
“Fights? I’ve been in a lot! And I always come out as the winner in the end! All those bastards who just want to hurt people get what they deserve!”
24. What do you feel most strongly about?
“I don’t like seeing innocent people getting hurt. Anyone who hurts innocents deserves to be beaten into the ground!”
25. What trait do you find most admirable, and how often do you find it?
“I like it when people work hard. I’m not some weirdo who asks a bunch of questions, so I don’t find it that often because I don’t ask. But a lot of people I know are hard workers.”
26. Do you think the future is hopeful? Why?
“Of course I do. There might be a lot of bad people in this world, but there are even more good people. As long as there are good people in the world, the future can never be anything but hopeful!”
27. What's the worst thing you could actually do to someone you hated?
“Beat them into the ground until they’ll never hurt anyone again.”
28. Is it okay for you to cry? When was the last time you cried?
“… It’s not okay for me to cry. If I’m crying, it means that I’m forcing my problems on people just from them seeing tears.”
29. When did you go through whatever made you supernatural? What was it like (in your opinion)?
“I was born this way, and I definitely don’t mind it!”
30. What do you think now of being supernatural? Is it cool, or have you been screwed?
“It took a lot of hard work for me to harness my affinity, but it’s great! I can stop any bastard mages, or priests, or demons, or anyone else like that who tries to do wrong!”
31. Do you have a mentor? Who are they? How did you become their student?
“I was self-taught. Mana is a really rare affinity, so I had to work things out myself.”
32. What was the worst injury you've ever received? How did it happen?
“I had some ribs broken in a fight, but they’re healed. It’s not a problem.”
33. How ticklish are you? Where are you ticklish?
“Eh!? Why… why you… what kind of weirdo are you, asking questions like that?! One more weird question and you’ll learn just why I’m called the White Cannon of Japan!”
34. What is your current long term goal?
“Hmph… I just want to have fun with my friends and keep people safe.”

Re: Character Q&As
(wanted to try my hand at this with some of my own characters.)
Alex Rosebane
What about you is heroic? I don't know if I'd call myself heroic. I live by my idea of right and wrong; and let other people decide if I'm heroic or not.
What about you is social? What do you like about people? Well, I'd say civilization is quite an accomplishment.
Of what benefit could you be to the current group? I am a very good sword fighter; and am quite incapable of giving up.
Why would you choose to join the current group? Circumstances seem to have thrown us together. I also believed that if I joined their group; I'd have a greater chance of finding the person I'm looking for.
What is your real, birth name? Alex Rosebane. Yes, Rosebane. Sometimes I wonder if one of my ancestors was a fanfiction author...
Do you have a nickname? What is it, and where did you get it? The Boyish Blade. I'd prefer a name that described my abilities; but I suppose "The Ridiculously Skilled Sword Fighter Who Kind of Looks Like a Man" just doesn't roll off the tounge so well.
What do you look like? A prince of course! A somewhat bishounen prince, at least.
How do you dress most of the time? I dress the very best for all occasions. I'm also a fan of capes; if only because I enjoy throwing them off in a dramatic fashion. It really sets the stage before a sword fight to throw off clothing before drawing your blade; and I'm certainly not throwing off my shirt.
In your opinion, what is your best feature? My charming smile.
Where do you live? The Land of Manga
Do you own a car? No; I prefer to travel by motorcycle.
What is your most prized mundane possession? Why do you value it so much? My saber. We have weathered many battles together.
What one word best describes you? Prince. Well, you didn't say it had to be an adjective.
What was your family like? I'd rather not talk about my family. It would only bring back bittersweet memories.
Who was your father, and what was he like? Well, I suppose this much I can give away. My father was a handsome man; and a skilled swordfighter.
Who was your mother, and what was she like? Never knew her. She died when I was young.
What was your parents marriage like? According to my father; he and my mother were champion fencers. They met at a competition and fell in love when their blades met. That's really all I know about their relationship; let alone their marriage.
What were your siblings names? What were they like? My older sister was named Sandara; after my grandmother. She was kind; always smiling. I remember that smile of hers from the last time... sorry, but I must decline talking about my family further. I will not allow myself to cry.
What is your first memory? My dad holding me. And saying something about mother...
What was your favorite toy? My wooden toy sword.
Who was your best friend when you were growing up? Sandy...I was a bit sheltered as a child.
How old were you when you went on your first date? 14.
It is common for one's view of authority to develop in their adolescent years What is your view of authority, and what event most affected it? I do not have a problem with authority; unless there is an abuse of power involved.
Do you have a job? What is it? Do you like it? I have more money than I need for my general upkeep; and will take over my father's company quite soon. In the meantime; I'm more of an adventurer.
Do you tend to save or spend your money? Spend. Though I do not go around giving blank checks to everyone I see; I do travel alot. And travel costs money.
What hobbies do you have? fencing and motorcycles. The last I find a bit embarrassing; as motorcycles aren't the least bit elegant. However, something about the two wheeled vehicles appeals to me.
Who is your closest mundane friend? I do not have mundane friends. At least, not anymore.
Who is your worst mundane enemy? Enemies? What are those? Everyone loves me! Seriously though; I'd rather not answer this one for the same reason I was reluctant to talk about my family: too personal.

Do you have any pets? Do you want any pets? What kind? I currently have no pets. If I were to purchase a pet; I would have to leave it at home for long periods of time; whilst someone else took care of it. It would no longer be my pet, put the servants' pet.
What do you find most relaxing? I sometimes lay awake and look at the stars.
What habit that others have annoys you most? Others tend to look at me like my life is easy just because I have alot of money; or assume that I am some kind of idiot because I hardly spend any time at home.
What kind of things embarrass you? Why? I would never feel such an unladylike emotion as embarrassment.
What don't you like about yourself? I don't like being alone.
How would you like to look? I am happy with my appearance.

Do you currently have a lover? No. I haven't found the person I want to protect yet. There's one girl that I like; but I'm fairly certain it's not her. I mean, "person I'm supposed to protect" implies the person needs protecting, right?
Do you ever want to get married and have children? When do you see this happening? Perhapse some day. Though I don't see it happening any time soon.
What one act in your past are you most ashamed of? There were two people I wanted to protect; but I ended up failing them.
Have you ever been in an argument before? Over what, with who, and who won? I've had some arguments in the past.
Have you ever been in a physical fight before? Over what, with who, and who won? To answer all those questions in order: Yes. Usually in self defense, or in the defense of othes. Several people who were foolish enough to push me into fighting them. Me.

What do you pretend to feel strongly about, just to impress people? I don't need to impress anyone.
What trait do you find most admirable, and how often do you find it? Conviction. I've found it in most of my current travelling companions.
Do you have any feelings in general that you are disturbed by? What are they? Why do they disturb you? N-no. I've never had disturbing or perverted thoughts about anyone I know. Honest.
Do you think the future is hopeful? Why? Yes, the future is hopeful. Because any hope this world has is the hope that we create. And I intend to use my father's company to create as much of it as possible.
What's the worst thing that can be done to another person? Why? To kill the people they love; and leave them with nothing but an empty house and a massive heap of survivor guilt...not that I'm speaking from experience or anything.
What's the worst thing you could actually do to someone you hated? While I could think of all sorts of horrible things I could do to the person I hate the most in the world; the worst I would do is put them down. And only because it needs doing.
Are you a better leader or follower? Why do you think that? I honestly couldn't say.
What is your responsibility to the world, if any? Why do you think that? To help as many people as I can. As a prince; helping people is my duty. And when I inherit my father's company; I'll be in a position to help quite a few people.
Do you think redemption is possible? Perhapse.
Is it okay for you to cry? NEVER!
What do you think is wrong with MOST people, overall? Not responsible enough.
What is the thing that has frightened you most? Do you think there is anything out there that's scarier than that? What do you think that would be? Something terrible happened when I was nine. Something I am not ready to discuss. Nothing will ever terrify me again.

What do you do when you are bored? I get on my motorcycle and ride.
Alex Rosebane
What about you is heroic? I don't know if I'd call myself heroic. I live by my idea of right and wrong; and let other people decide if I'm heroic or not.

Do you have a nickname? What is it, and where did you get it? "Well, alot of people call me Weirdo, Creeper, and filthy little freak; so I guess those must be my nicknames."

What was your favorite toy? "I don't own any toys. I have a friend who owns some toys; but I don't think Personal Gratification-tan would want you knowing about her toys and so I won't tell you about them,"
Who was your best friend when you were growing up? "I guess Nineties-tan, Cake-tan, and Destiny-tan,"
How old were you when you went on your first date? "Dunno. Haven't had one yet."

Do you have a nickname? What is it, and where did you get it? "Well, alot of people call me Weirdo, Creeper, and filthy little freak; so I guess those must be my nicknames."

What were your siblings names? What were they like? "I don't have any."
What is your first memory? "Destiny-tan telling me the month and day my existance was going to end; as well as the location...which was kind of mean of her. Though she didn't tell me the year. Oddly enough, we became something resembling friends after that."

When it comes to mundane politics, do you care? "I attempted to start my own political party campaigning for global cooling; and public floggings for animal cruelty violators...It was just me and Keiko; and she only came cause I said there'd be cake...since Keiko is the moe anthromorphism of cake; technically I didn't lie."
What annoys you more than anything else? "That look on your face as you read this thing and immediately judge me as a complete weirdo. I can't see it; but I can guess what it looks like. I've seen those looks my entire existance."
What would be the perfect gift for you? "If you find something in the world that's absolutely perfect in every way; give it to me. I want to see something that shouldn't exist."
What's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen? "A person that is completely and utterly in the zone. At their most awesome. At their moment of triumph. That's beautiful to me, anyway."

What do you find most relaxing? "Solitude."
What habit that others have annoys you most? "I believe I've already answered that question."
What kind of things embarrass you? Why? "Well, sometimes I'll say something, and it'll be weird; and I'll try to tell someone the exact thought process that lead up to what I said; but it'll fade from my brain before I can say it. Maybe I should write those things down."
What don't you like about yourself? "My mopey-ness. I'm fine with being a weird outcast; but I can't stand moping so darned often,"

Would you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else? Why? "Something else. Though Nineties-tan is kinda cute without that ridiculous backwards hat. Yes, nina...Nineties-tan. Even the girl wearing a black jacket with a hoodie in the middle of summer thinks your hat is silly...not that you're ever going to read this. Though while I'm at it, cake-tan is cute as well; and horror-tan isn't too bad either..."
Do you currently have a lover? "There are people I love; but not like that."
Do you ever want to get married and have children? When do you see this happening? "I know for a fact that it's not going to happen. Whether I want it or not is irrelevant."

What's the worst thing you could actually do to someone you hated? "I'd write them a strongly worded letter...written on a smelly piece of fish,"
Are you a better leader or follower? Why do you think that? "I don't lead anybody; and don't tend to follow them either,"
What is your responsibility to the world, if any? Why do you think that? "Well, I guess the world needs a Moe Personification of the Unknown or i wouldn't exist. No idea why though,"
Do you think redemption is possible? "No."
Is it okay for you to cry? "Nothing will ever make me cry...in my room...alone...where noone can see..."
What do you think is wrong with MOST people, overall? "Too closed-minded,"

What was the worst injury you've ever received? How did it happen? "You know what happens when you lose your temper and punch the personification of destiny itself in the face? She punches back. And has much better aim. Just the memory of it makes nose sore."

If you were to gain an obscenely large sum of money (via an inhertiance, a lawsuit, a lottery, or anything else) what would you do with it? "Buy the worlds largest cake; the world's largest collection of transformers; and a gigantic mansion. Then invite my two best friends over for the best party ever,"
What do you do when you are bored? "count things...I suppose I could just invite the above mentioned friends over (and maybe Horror-tan and Death-tan as well...); but I reach for the phone and then can't bring myself to do it. I'm definately not a social person,"

Re: Character Q&As
This is for my character Crystal, the main character of my game. The context of her answering these are that she's somewhere further along in her journey, but manages to be clueless about important current events. Also her personality will get kind of warped as you play as her, depending on your actions. These are about as close to her canon personality as it gets though.
1. What about you is heroic?
"Heroic? I'd rather not actually. It'd be great if I could just settle down, away from my family, and have my OWN family. It would probably be easier,"
2. What about you is social? What do you like about people?
"Oh people are wonderful to talk to! I like walking around town, just to find all the people, sometimes just to say hi,"
3. Of what benefit could you be to the current group?
"Well, supposedly I'm some sort of leader? I wish people wouldn't say that. Everyone just seems to go with my ideas..."
4. Why would you choose to join the current group?
"Well I sort of started it. Maybe that's why they call me the leader. But Felix and Roy were here from the start too! *Sigh*..."
5. What is your real, birth name? What name do you use?
"My name is Crystal! From birth til death, my name shall be the same. Hehe,"
6. Do you have a nickname? What is it, and where did you get it?
"Not really. My father isn't fond of nicknames. Our maid sometimes calls me Crys, but I don't really like my name being changed up just to shorten it,"
7. What do you look like? (Include height, weight, hair, eyes, skin, apparent age, and distinguishing features)
5'0", just an average weight, green hair, blue eyes, light skin, looking my age of 18.
"Distinguishing features? Well my cape is badass."
8. How do you dress most of the time?
"Simple and efficient outfit. Badass cape. Mostly white and red. And I wear a badass cape~"
9. What do you wear when you go to sleep?
"A simple night dress,"
10. Do you wear any jewelry?
"These earrings, aren't they cute?"
11. In your opinion, what is your best feature?
"Um, hm. I guess my smile. I do try to keep my teeth taken care of,"
12. Where do you live? Describe it: Is it messy, neat, avant-garde, sparse, etc.?
"Ah, my family's mansion. It's big and VERY well taken care of by our maid, Bounce. My room is also rather neat and well taken care of. Though I don't know if it'd be so clean if I didn't have a maid, haha,"
13. What is your most prized mundane possession? Why do you value it so much?
"Actually, this might sound kind of silly, but it's this book my mom gave to me. It's a story about a hero who saves the world from a never-ending drought by discovering a new source for rain. I... am rather fond of it, really,"
14. What one word best describes you?
Optimistic!
15. What was your family like?
"Oh man, don't even get me actually going on this. Our history dates back for generations! My father won't ever let me forget about it, either. It's his side of the family that our history comes from. My mother is more... well. She's not really into all of that, but she loved my dad a great deal and that was all she needed. My mother and father really got along well most of the time, and my mother had long accepted that being my father's daughter meant continuing the family tradition,"
16. Who was your father, and what was he like?
"He's really strict, and tends to be a bit harsh. I know he means well, but generally he comes off as loving traditions and fighting more than me. Oh but when I say he loves fighting, I mean our family fighting style. Not actually getting into fights. He says that it's best to avoid needless violence when possible, which luckily, he and I completely agree on. The problem is I think a lot of violence that he's involved in is entirely needless and he disagrees,"
17. Who was your mother, and what was she like?
"She was... really nice. She would read me stories, and tell me that a child who grows up with heroic stories would grow up to be heroic in their own way. She said that no matter what, I should never doubt the importance of small victories for the betterment of mankind. I sometimes wonder if she'd be proud of me how I am now..."
"Ah, but I should say that, despite being old enough to understand what happened, I did eventually get over her death. It was hard at first, to accept a simple accident could end someone's life so easily, but time heals all wounds, as they say. It's just too bad it can't remove scars..."
18. What was your parents marriage like? Were they married? Did they remain married?
"As I said, they were very happy together, and rarely fought. When my mother died, my father became very lonely. He didn't show it, but that's the thing. He hid away and told me to just practice on my own. I'm not really sure there's much else to say about their marriage, because I didn't know much about it beyond that they were very happy together,"
19. When's the last time you saw any member of your family? Where are they now?
"Well my dad is still back home, but that's about all I can say for sure... I think I have an uncle running around somewhere though,"
20. Did you ever meet any other family members? Who were they? What did you think of them?
"That uncle I mentioned, I've met him. Last I heard he's off searching for the relevant pieces of equipment or something, basically stuff that'll help me in my life as the soldier my father wants me to be,"
21. What is your first memory?
"Sitting warmly by a fire on a really, really cold night, with my mother and father..."
22. What was your favorite toy?
"Uh, I didn't get a lot of toys, but of the ones I had I guess... this one doll that actually had moving parts. It was so cool to me as a child, because none of my other toys had many moving parts,"
23. What was your favorite game?
"Hide and Seek. It was a local favorite when I was a kid, hehe,"
24. Any non-family member adults stick out in your mind? Who were they, and how did you know them? Why do they stick out?
"The blacksmith. He saved me from a wolf once, and ever since I always visit his shop even though I don't ever buy anything,"
25. Who was your best friend when you were growing up?
"Felix! And he still is, of course. He's really cool, I don't get why he doesn't have a girlfriend when so many girls clearly want him. Luckily for him, I can help him with his shyness! One day, I just KNOW I'll hook him up with someone just perfect for him!"
26. What is your fondest, childhood memory?
"Ah... probably the day I met Felix. Me and my mom were playing hide and seek on our own, because a lot of the other kids were busy doing stuff and my mom decided she'd play with me so that I wouldn't be lonely. While that would almost be good enough on its own, then I see a boy hidden by himself and ask him if I can share the hiding spot with him. After a bit I found out he was alone! As in, no family. So I brought him home and I can honestly say that I never had more fun playing with someone I had only just met in my life. We became exceptionally close friends after that,"
27. What is your worst childhood memory?
"Probably when my mom died. I... it was a rough time for me,"
28. How old were you when you went on your first date?
"13, I guess. I haven't really dated all that much, I'm much more interested in helping others with their relationships. Honestly I think it's just I haven't found the right... person, yet,"
29. It is common for one's view of authority to develop in their adolescent years. What is your view of authority, and what event most affected it?
"Authority is very important. It can be annoying, but without it we'd all be in trouble, wouldn't we? Though I tend to get in trouble a lot, but mostly with my dad. The guards would leave me alone thanks to my dad, but he gets onto me enough for twenty of them..."
30. What is your favorite memory from adolescence?
"Oh, ok so I said I didn't date much and I didn't care for it. But this one guy took me out, even though I didn't even want to go with him, but my dad insisted. Well, it was spring and the area we went to was a little out of the way. But the place he took me was filled with flowers, fairies, birds, and all other sorts of beautiful things. We found a real quiet and out of the way spot, and everything was just wonderful. But, for me, the best part was that he revealed he didn't want to do this either. He had been pushed into it by his mother, who had wanted him and me to get together so our families could get together. Thanks to that, I was able to let all of my worries flow away and we ended up having a great time. It was only a week later that his family had moved out of town. I wasn't really sure why, but I think that they managed to force him to marry some woman who had a higher standing than me and my family. Hope he's doing well,"
31. What is your worst memory from adolescence?
"Ahh, Felix. You sure are coming up a lot in this. Well, not a whole lot of horrible things have happened to me aside from my mother dying, it's been a pretty easy life. But when we were just 14, Felix accidentally cut himself. I went to go to him but he told me to stay back. Suddenly I felt a deep pain in my body, something entirely different from the feeling I get when taking a blow back during a spar. When I looked down I was bleeding. Felix kept saying sorry, sorry.... I didn't really understand what was happening but I fell down. Suddenly my dad came in and eventually managed to heal me. It was terrifying, but something good technically came of it. Felix hadn't known how to control his powers, but my dad taught him, and now he's a happier person because of it. He was terrified at first though, thought I'd never forgive him. But, I didn't even blame him in the first place,"
32. Do you have a job? What is it? Do you like it? If no job, where does your money come from?
"Well my father keeps me pretty busy, but I wouldn't call anything I do 'my job'. I train daily, though, with very few days off. My money comes from my family, as my father gets jobs all the time, and is pretty well off to begin with. Though, this adventure started with him trying to get me to start taking up the family business, but I haven't really had a chance to do that, exactly,"
33. What is something you had to learn that you hated?
"Fighting,"
34. What hobbies do you have?
"Reading! I mean, I'm not all that enthusiastic about it that I'd call it a hobby, but I really do enjoy it a lot,"
35. Who is your closest mundane friend? Describe them and how you relate to them.
"Hm... not really sure. I'm friends with pretty much everyone in my village though, with some exceptions,"
36. Who is your worst mundane enemy? Describe them and why you don't get along.
"A particular member of a particular pair of twins. I don't really like her, she kind of creeps me out. We actually almost got into a fist fight once because she groped me from behind! She said something about sizing me up for a sacrifice and I just about hit her. I'm not even sure if she counts as mundane!"
37. Read any good books? What were they?
"Have you been paying attention? I really didn't even mean to talk so much about books, but there it is. In any case, I can recommend quite a few great books if you enjoy stories about heroes who solve the problems of others, or even better yet, the stories with the villain as the protagonist. Now those are good books, really gets you questioning the value of your morals when compared to others,"
38. When it comes to mundane politics, do you care?
"Not really, no. My father does though and he's always trying to get me to hate the current king for wanting to use less military violence to do things..."
39. What type of places do you hang out in with your mundane friends?
"Well the older I get the less time I get to hang out. I haven't really been spending much time with my friends aside from Felix, who I rarely get much time with even. Usually I hang out at his place, or at mine. When I DO get to hang out with all the others my age, we tend to go a little ways out of the village and hang out at this nice grove of trees,"
40. What annoys you more than anything else?
"People telling me what I need to do, or telling me what to do, or telling me it's all up to me, or telling me that something is my fault. That general line of thinking, really,"
41. What would be the perfect gift for you?
"Um, Hm. That depends on my mood! But I guess you can't go wrong with giving me a good book, or just some gold. But sometimes what I REALLY want is a nice, wonderful... hee,"
42. What's the most beautiful thing you've ever seen?
"Remember that big romantic date thing I mentioned up there? That whole scene. Gorgeous... the fairies were probably the best part,"
43. What time of day is your favorite?
"Night time. ...What? You think just because I'm a happy person that I like daytime? Well honestly I'm probably biased thanks to working most days, and nightfall is pretty much when I got to take a break,"
44. What kind of weather is your favorite?
"I love rain~ running through it, dancing in it, it's just a load of fun,"
45. What is your favorite food? What is your least favorite food?
"My favorite food is seafood, though I get it very rarely since I don't actually live near the sea. Specifically crab, ah, so wonderful. My least favorite food is probably noodles. I just can't stand them for some reason,"
46. What is your favorite drink? (Coffee, Coke, Juice, Beer, Wine, etc.)
"Ahhh... now that's a hard question. Probably the hardest one yet. While I love the local coffee for it's invigorating boost to energy, and all around great taste, I also like the coffee from the country northwest of us. I got it once and, oh lord, it was amazing. But, the coffee from that small town out east was AMAZING. I just... ah, I can't pick my favorite coffee. Wait, favorite drink? Oh, I thought you said favorite coffee. My uncle's tea is probably the best tasting drink I've EVER had in my life,"
47. What's your favorite animal? Why?
"Horses. They're so majestic and beautiful, and fast,"
48. Do you have any pets? Do you want any pets? What kind?
"I once had a pet cat, but she ran away! Though, I've always wanted a horse, they're pretty awesome. But my dad says that I can't fight from the back of a horse and why would I even want one. He let me learn how to, but said it's for "Travel purposes only", boring,"
49. What do you find most relaxing? (Not as in stress relief, but as something that actually calms you down.)
"Reading, I guess. Though I actually don't like re-reading most books, so when I can't get into the mood to re-read and don't currently have a new book, I'll go to the rooftop of my house, and lay down. Just stare at the stars in the sky. It's very relaxing to view all the constellations. I once brought Felix with me but he got bored, haha,"
50. What habit that others have annoys you most?
"Well it's actually not that easy to annoy me unless you happen to hit one of my buttons. I don't have a problem with anything someone would actually call a 'habit'. But, telling me that I'm at fault for something that had nothing to do with me? Yeah that tends to irritate me,"
51. What kind of things embarrass you? Why?
"Uh, people trying to hook me up with someone, it's weird. I mean, yeah sure I do it to Felix but I don't like it when someone does it to me, hahaha,"
"...That isn't as bad as it sounds I swear,"
52. What don't you like about yourself?
"Well, I could be less lazy I guess,"
53. How would you like to look?
"Like a total babe. No not really, haha. I'm fine with how I look, we're all exactly how we're supposed to be,"
54. Would you consider yourself straight, gay, bi, or something else? Why?
"I'm not really sure! I mean, I only date guys because I'm told to, but I'm more interested in girls. I'm just not too worried about it honestly, but I guess I'll know when I meet that special someone, huh?"
55. Who was the first person you had sex with? When did it happen? What was it like? How well did it go?
"I haven't had sex yet. I mean, I almost did, but it didn't happen. Nothing too important to discuss, really,"
56. What is the perfect romantic date?
"I honestly can't think of anything better than what I already got, though maybe it would be better if the person bringing me, as well as myself, actually WANTED to go on the date, hahaha,"
57. Do you ever want to get married and have children? When do you see this happening?
"I do! I really do, and in fact I'd rather settle down than go on an adventure. But alas, that's all for later. Who knows when, though, really,"
58. What was your most recent relationship like? Who was it with? (Does not need to be sexual, merely romantic.)
"Well the LAST guy my father pushed on me was this guy named Robert. Good news is that he didn't find me interesting. Bad news is he didn't find me interesting, hahaha,"
59. How old were you when you first got drunk? What was the experience like?
"Heh, well, I only got drunk once. I was 12, and found a hidden wine room behind Bing Bang's Diner. I went to town on the stuff - and it basically ended with me topless and running into the front room of Bing Bang's. Luckily, there were very few people and Bing Bang himself took care of me. I felt like such an idiot afterwards, and obviously I had a horrible hangover. I didn't know about those back then though..."
-Did anything good come out of it? Did anything bad come out of it?
"I think the worst longer term thing that came of it was how my Father treated me afterwards. Firstly, he had to pay for all of the drink. Secondly, he was so embarrassed by the whole thing he barely talked to me, even during training. It was pretty rough and I felt really horrible for a while,"
60. Do you drink on any kind of regular basis?
"Never. Again."
61. What do you think of drugs and alcohol? Are there any people should not do? Why or why not?
"I think they're wrong for everyone! The stuff is horrible, all of it,"
62. What one act in your past are you most ashamed of? What one act in your past are you most proud of?
"The drinking incident is probably the most shameful. As for pride, well, I think helping Felix was the best thing I've ever done. Even though I didn't really do all that much,"
63. Have you ever been in an argument before? Over what, with who, and who won?
"I've argued a lot of times of course, mostly with my dad, who only wins because I'm not entirely able to go against him. Anything other than that is usually with aforementioned annoying twin,"
64. Have you ever been in a physical fight before? Over what, with who, and who won?
"Nope! Only almost, on rare occasion. My father always taught me not to fight unless it was necessary, though his and my idea of necessary differ to some level,"
65. What do you feel most strongly about?
"My friends, especially ever since this journey started. Everyone who I call my friend has become more important to me than, perhaps, myself. It's really strange, this human disease we call friendship. But I can't imagine thinking more highly of anything than my close friends,"
66. What do you pretend to feel strongly about, just to impress people?
"I might be blushing as I say this, but justice. I mean, I believe in a person's rights, I believe in justice and the law and everything else, and I certainly find Authority very important. But while I may say things about wanting to obtain justice for those who can't get it themselves, I really can't help but feel inside that maybe it'd be better if someone else did it, or that they should just try for it themselves, or something. I just don't feel strongly about it, despite occasionally throwing up airs. I just don't see why I should feel strongly, but pretend I do anyway,"
67. What trait do you find most admirable, and how often do you find it?
"Flair and fabulousness~ nah just kidding. I think the most admirable trait in a person is probably when they're able to stay calm and collected, strong and standing, despite any situation. No matter what, this type of person is always so dependable. It's so cool, and something I don't have. I can sometimes joke about bad situations, but if it gets bad enough I can't really stay calm,"
68. Is there anything you think should not be incorporated into the media or art (sex, violence, greed, etc.,)? If so, what and why, and if not, why not?
"Censorship? Psh,"
69. What is your religious view of things? What religion, if any, do you call your own?
"Ah, religion. I believe that other people are fully allowed to believe in whatever they believe in! But while the existence of gods is an undisputed fact, I have no interest in worshiping one. It seems weird to me. I'm not entirely closed to the idea though, depending on what I can get in return,"
(OoC: Yeah uh, just going to throw in this little tidbit. Religion is a COMPLICATED THING IN MY WORLD ... sometimes)
70. Do you think the future is hopeful? Why?
"Of course! I'm optimistic that everything will be just fine. That's just how I am,"
71. Is an ounce of prevention really worth a pound of cure? Which is more valuable? Why do you feel this way?
"I'm not entirely sure that one can just prevent problems from occurring, but if you can it's good. I'm not so sure which is more important though..."
72. What's the worst thing that can be done to another person? Why?
"The WORST thing? Having their friends taken from them. I can't imagine what I'd do if something horrible were to happen to Felix, or Roy, or... anyone I hold close,"
73. What's the worst thing you could actually do to someone you hated?
"I... I don't know. I can't imagine doing something horrible to somebody just because I hate them. I don't think I've hated anyone badly enough to really do anything, so I wouldn't know,"
74. Are you a better leader or follower? Why do you think that? If you think the whole leader-follower archetype is a crock of shit, say so, and explain why?
"Yeah screw leader-follower. I don't know why the others seem to occasionally push that I'm the leader, when clearly I'm not cut out for such a position. Everyone is equal, and that's it. While everyone may have their specific position in a group or system, they're still no better or worse as a human than anyone else. The king for example; while he may be a great leader, the fact remains that he can have faults and someone might want to try to fight with him over it. That's the thing, though, isn't it? His position in society gives him protection from such things, and he can just ignore those in a lower position. But is it completely right? I'm of the mind that a great leader is completely aware of the fact that they aren't any better than someone else, and will listen out any complaints with the system,"
75. What is your responsibility to the world, if any? Why do you think that?
"Psh, like I have a responsibility to this world. This whole adventure thing isn't really something I wanted, just something that I'm the only one who can do. I'm not even helping the WHOLE world either. Rather, it looks like I'm just helping one side of it... maybe things will get better though, who knows,"
76. Do you think redemption is possible? If so, can anyone be redeemed, or are there only certain circumstances that can be? If not, why do you think nothing can redeem itself?
"Absolutely. Anyone who truly wishes to redeem themselves should have the option to do so. I haven't come across a situation yet where that isn't true, though I guess it'd be harder for someone who's done much worse things than others. I'm not world-weary enough to tell you how evil a person CAN be, but I honestly believe that even murder can be forgiven, if the person is sincerely ready to make up for it,"
77. Is it okay for you to cry? When was the last time you cried?
"Of course I've never cried, and I never will. Only babies cry. No not really I'm kidding, haha. It's a perfectly natural thing to cry, what are you even talking about,"
78. What do you think is wrong with MOST people, overall?
"Too damn needy. Ok no that's not right. Well, maybe it is. I mean, not just because I get irritated with helping people, but because of the fact that people don't seem as willing and ready to do things on their own. I'm really, REALLY not one to talk, actually, with me being so lazy, but I'm not really excluding myself from the problem. If somehow everyone could just be more motivated, I think this world would be better off,"
79. When did you go through whatever made you supernatural? What was it like (in your opinion)?
"Well I've always technically had magic in me, everyone does actually. But it wasn't until I was ten that my father allowed me to start tapping into it. He says puberty should occur during the second stage of training, apparently. But, I had actually learned the fighting style itself long before that, it's just he suddenly got much harder on me after that because now I was working with magic too,"
80. What do you think now of being supernatural? Is it cool, or have you been screwed?
"I really really really wish I didn't have this power. I wish that somehow it had skipped my generation, so I could just go settle down somewhere. But, with that said, I actually do have fun fighting monsters, to a limited extent,"
81. Do you have a mentor? Who are they? How did you become their student?
"My father, and not really anyone else,"
82. Do you have any magical items? Where did you get them?
"The elemental essences, they're basically just a way for me to better my magic. They're super important, you have no idea. But the problem is neither do I, they're just these things that got passed down the family line, for many generations. For me they're more sentimental, particularly the fire element,"
83. What is the thing that has frightened you most? Do you think there is anything out there that's scarier than that? What do you think that would be?
"The most frightening thing I've experienced? Probably the thing with Felix harming me with blood magic. I thought I would die! But there are probably a lot more terrifying things out there. Actually lately, I've been afraid of losing my friends..."
84. What was the worst injury you've ever received? How did it happen?
"The Bloodwound I received from Felix. That's what I eventually found out it was called. Basically, I wouldn't be able to stop bleeding even with healing, ordinarily, but my Father was able to do some sort of weird thing to fix it,"
85. How ticklish are you? Where are you ticklish?
"Why are you asking? Who told you I was ticklish? Don't you touch me!"
86. What is your current long term goal?
"LONG term? Settle down with a family, live a happy and lazy life. Ahhh, I can't wait for it..."
87. What is your current short term goal?
"Our adventure. The goal is... complicated as fuck. But it shouldn't be that hard, we just gotta do the one thing and then the other thing, no problems!"
88. How private of a person are you? Why?
"Oh I'm not very private at all! I'm an open book, so to speak. I have been my whole life, and I have a lot of fun with people thanks to it,"
89. What do you do when you are bored?
"I read books!"
90. What is the most frightening potential handicap or disfigurement you can conceive of? What makes it so frightening?
I can't imagine living without my hands, lordy. It's the worst possible thing, not being able to actually handle anything yourself. I may be lazy but I'd hate to have to depend on someone simply because I'm useless, being a burden is annoying,"
