Maxine: King - A "Rage Aura" where she gets more powerful solely based on how much damage her allies have taken, but can also get stronger from rage.

Jennifer: Queen - Empathic Manipulation (She has the power to control others' emotions)

Will/Erika: Knight - The ability to convert the mana in the air into physical or magical power for more destructive attacks. The longer the battle has been, the stronger the attacks get.

Gabriel: Knight - "Great Taunt", where Gabriel makes his opponents have to attack him, and if they attack anyone else then he gets a 'free hit' on them, doing significant damage.

Bart: Rook - Has access to a library of infinite knowledge, including powerful magical tomes

Arcruss/Arthur: Rook - Has access to a Casino where the opponent is forced to play games of chance. These games have chances of harming the opponent, stealing their powers, and even death depending on what is put on the line.

Laura: Bishop - An ability that pinpoints the weakness of her target and changes the attributes of her magic to best manipulate the weakness.

Samantha/Jesse: Bishop - Breath powers based on what she eats

Maxwell: Pawn - Unspecified plant powers, with a lot of variety

Hymie: Pawn - Has the power to find what he needs, when he needs it. When synced with the Queen, can find things for other people as well. Works well with Bart's library

Jesse/Samantha: Pawn - Gains special powers from befriending animals. Can include 'mythical' creatures

Tasha: Pawn - A terrifying power that exposes the psyche and lets her play on the victims greatest fears or insecurities using illusions.

Erika: Pawn - The ability to analyse objects and recreate them. The first time she creates an object, it is imperfect and brittle, but if she keeps creating that object it will eventually surpass the original.

King: Great Leader, and has their own unique power. Can obtain weaker versions of their follower's powers for short durations, though not compatible with pawns.
Queen: Supports the King and perhaps the most actual power output. Can sync with and empower the Pawns.
Knight: Protects the King and Queen with direct and physical means
Bishop: Mystic arts. They directly give advice to the king, and are a position of trust.
Rook: Creates a "Zone" that belongs to them (Role to be decided?)
Pawn: Most versatile power. Supports the Queen directly
