Touhou Kids v2

A restart of the topic Touhou Kids because the other one just went out of control with the plot. This one like the other one has no set plot planned for it, we'll just win it as we go along. Should be fun.

Arisa Hakurei, one of the shrine maidens of Hakurei shrine, currently stood outside sweeping the steps to the shrine. Her Reimu-mama had went out earlier to handle some youkai that had been causing trouble for humans, while her Alice-mama was inside preparing lunch. It was your typical day in Gensokyo.

The blonde sighed, a typical day was good and all, but she didn't want to spend it doing chores. She'd have rather spent it sitting down and enjoying a cup of tea.

Maya has just submitted her potential headline to her mother, Aya Shameimaru. She's been working as an apprentice to take over Bunbunmaru when it's time. The headline was something about the Moriya Shrine doing suspicious things to their shrine maiden, although it's still mostly exaggerated. She thought that she should hang out over her favorite friend's place. She flew quickly towards Arisa, grinning with a camera ready from behind.

"SHUTTER CHANCE!" she said as she tried taking a snapshot under Arisa's skirt... the usual annoying thing she usually does.

Arisa's hands quickly flew to the back of her skirt, pulling it down, "STUPID PERVERTED TENGU!"

The blonde turned and glared at the dark haired tengu before her. She was Arisa's friend and biggest annoyance. "Tengu, why are you here? Don't you have something else to do beside getting on my nerves?"

"Getting on your nerves?" she sighed and shook her head after saying that. "Arisa-chan, you know that I only come here to play." she said, giving the shrine maiden a thumbs up. "And that's what I plan to do today! Of course, I have my award-winning headline submitted to the Bunbunmaru already! 'Moriya Shrine Maiden: Innocent or Broken from Abuse?' How's that for a top-rated headline?"

Marle flew towards the Hakurei Shrine, and waved to to Arisa and Maya.

"Hows it going, ze?" she asked.

"Sounds like you're spreading slanderous lies again, Tengu...." Arisa deadpanned then turned her head to see Marle flying towards them, "Hello Marle, I hope you're planning on making a donation today."

"I left my money at home?" said Marle.

"Slanderous lies my back end! It's the truth! I even got a few pictures and I got away with it! .... before being hit by a huge onbashira and crashing to the ground then almost getting eaten by that darkness youkai with a ribbon who thought I was dead.... All in all, it was a fine job!" she said with pure confidence.

She heard another person come by. "Mou, Arisa-chan, I might get jealous if you keep inviting too much playmates~"

Kari stepped out from inside the shrine, "We have visitors?" She asked, wiping her eyes having just woke form a nap.

A cracking sound was heard as Arisa cracked the knuckles of her fist. She turned to Marle and gave her a menacing stare, "What was that? I didn't quite catch what you said."

Arisa gritted her teeth at the tengu, but otherwise didnt say anything. It wasn't until the oni came out that her attention was diverted from the witch. "What do you mean we? You're just a free loader here! We don't have visitors, I have visitors that I wish would scram."

"....I said 'I'd love to pay donations!'," said Marle.

"But I live here right now, don't I? So they're my visitors too," Kari reasoned, nodding.

"Ayayaya.... This is turning really bad.... Really really bad..." she said as she thought of a decision to make to distract Arisa from killing all of them. Being the hasty and sometimes reckless tengu that she is, she quickly dashed for Arisa. "Desperate times call for desperate measures!" she said as she caught Arisa in a kiss and flew away instantly. "Don't worry, I can outfly her!"

At first, Arisa went wide eyed, then flushed a bright shade of red. Of course, this quickly turned from embarrassment to anger as Maya flew off, "Y-you stupid tengu! I'm gonna kill you for that!"

And with that said, Arisa flew off in hot pursuit of the tengu, her doll Taiwan following close behind with a tiny sword ready for combat.

Kari looked at them, then perked up. "Ooh! A fight!" She spread her wings, about to fly after them as well. Then she thought about it.

"They kissed, so is this a love fight?" She asked herself aloud.

"Well, I suppose thats as heroic a way to go as Mayas gonna get," she said, before turning to Kari. "So, wanna go do something?"

"I have no regrets!" she said, flying a little faster. "I know you liked it!"

She looked back to check if the shrine maiden is catching up to her. When she looked forward again, there it was, a giant onbashira. It was the same one that hit her and it was stuck up straight from the ground. She hit her face on it and she fell down like a bird shot by a hunter.

Arisa caught the tengu before she could hit the ground. She was still angry of course, but she wasn't just going to watch as a friend plummet to the earth. "Idiot..." She sighed, then turned her head away, blushing, "And so what if I did like it, I still plan on killing you," She sighed again, "But after we do something about your head. You're bleeding."

"Oww....." Maya said, rubbing her head from some pain and dizziness. She seems to have gotten a bad hit from the onbashira. However, she still tried keeping the same attitude she has to not let Arisa worry. "What are you talking about? Oh! So you did like it~" she said teasingly to the shrine maiden.

"Keep talking like that and I'm going to drop you," Arisa said completely serious. After a moments thought on what to do next, she decided to get back to shrine to properly treat Maya's head.

"You're so troublesome, tengu," The shrine maiden muttered as she flew off still carrying the other girl.

"Something?" Asked Kari, looking at Marle. A little thought bubble appeared above her head, and the scene was censored out.

"You mean like that? 'Cause I don't want to really...."

"Like what?" said Marle.

"I'm sure you won't have the heart to drop your future waifu~" she said laughing a little and then wincing because of the wound. "Oww.... that really hurt..."

"Oi, Arisa, Do you really think I'm that troublesome? I have good hearing, you know? It's just really fun hanging out at your shrine when you don't count the possible death by Reimu."

"Of course you're troublesome, you're always annoying me, you never leave a donation, and you're always making Reimu-mama angry," Arisa then paused, a slight flush coming to her cheeks. She kept looking ahead, trying to keep her impassive appearance, "But.... I don't dislike you..."

Elisa Scarlet, heir to the Scarlet Devil Mansion, sat in the parlor room drinking her afternoon tea. After a long sip, she placed the cup down on the plate with an audible clink. "Michi-chan, you don't have to stand there and watch me drink. You can take a seat and join me if you wish."

(Spidey, it's a very common joke in anime/manga for a thought bubble to be seen by others. ^^''' ah well)

Kari said, "Ah, nevermind," Blushing slightly before looking around, "Uhm, so what do you want to do?"

"I was thinking we could go into the nearby village and so something fun," said Marle. "How good are you at causing distractions?"

"Oh, so it's just those that bug you. Well...." she crossed her arms and thought hard. "I could spare a few coins that I get from Aya-mama's payment for my headlines.... I could maybe go and have some tea with your Reimu-mama if I don't get killed the moment I see her... and the annoyance part, I'm not sure how I'll get rid of that. I don't really see what's so annoying." she smiled a little from the fact that she really wasn't hated. "Well, I don't hate you too even though you almost kill me everytime we get to the chase. The chase is actually kinda fun."

Michi shook her head in response to her mistress' order. "I'm very sorry, but you know that it's inappropriate for me to drink with the head of the mansion. I'll make some pastries or some more tea if you're still unsatisfied."

A small smile almost appeared on Arisa's face, but she quickly covered it with her usual neutral expression. Soon, they arrived back at the shrine. Arisa set Maya gently down in front of the shrine, "I'm gonna go in and look for some bandages. Stay right there and try not to move too much, okay?"

Elisa sighed, "You really should worry less about whether something is inappropriate or not. Fine, fine, you don't have to sit with me if you do not want to."

There was an adorable pout on her face. She did not like it that things did not go as she had hoped.

When they landed and she was laid down in front of the shrine, she closed her eyes and sighed. "Yeah, yeah, I won't move that much. You don't have to worry, you know? I'm a responsible tengu." she then thought for a moment. Maybe she did want to have some tea some time with Reimu.

"Elisa-sama, please don't take it too personally... I'm a maid who serves you and it will always stay that way. If I wasn't the maid anymore, Sakuya-okasan will have a huge workload to bear." she said a little nervously now.
