Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
Joshua cried out as his spell stopped entirely. He grasped at his face, "WHAT?! You can do this too?" He steadied his breath, his mind calming, his breath calming. He knew she would land in a moment, and then attacks would come...
But he was safe. He said a couple of simple words, in english rather than Japanese, "Wind Displacement,"
He vanished, and appeared on a rooftop across the street. He hoped this distance would break the spell...
-------
Rider grabbed hold of the reigns, taking control of the dragon once more. The dragon dodged under Berserker, and used a martial arts move to flip him over and around to the other side, completely avoiding the attack.
Rider saw who he reffered to as 'the other servant' catch his master as she fell. He smirked, seeing as he could have caught her, but why ruin the moment? He turned back to his battle, the Dragon Roaring and ready to go.

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
Fujiko silently glanced over her master to check and see if she was uninjured. Satisfied, she placed Miho back down on the ground then turned her attention to Caster, "I want you to go tell Rider we're retreating."
She noticed that both Miho and the butler had failed to cast any wards around the area to keep outsiders from noticing the battle. This was extremely bad. If anyone saw.... they would have to have killed them. No normal human can know of magic and live to tell the tale.

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
Caster chuckled at the expression on Miho's face after she had been set down. She was extraordinary embarrassed, and it was hilarious. She looked at her Master when she spoke, still smirking, but calmed back down otherwise. "Yes, Master. Right away." Caster floated over to the battle area, using her spellbook to cast some protective barriers around her and Rider. "Riiiider! We're retreating for now!" she yelled to him when she got closer.
Miho huffed and adjusted her dress, then walked over to Fujiko, frowning at her. "N-now then. How on earth did you know I was in danger? it's not even your shift anymore, either way, so I'm not sure why you bothered." She crossed her arms, looking Fujiko over. Truly, she was thankful for being saved, really she was. She just wasn't about to show it, much. Thank you for catching me, I suppose, though I'd prefer not to be.. held like that.. again."

Berserker stood back up and glared at Rider readying another charge, Berserker took few fast steps foward appearing at first that he was chargin but sword clashed against barrier. He kept pressing on, trying to break barrier, slow cracling sound with each strike wa heard from barrier.

"Now is not the time Ojou-sama," Fujiko said as she quickly looked around the area, expecting the butler or an outsider pop out at any moment, "We need to go, I'll explain everything once we're out of here."
The servant girl paused, seemingly considering something, "Oujo-sama, I'll escort you to my home. It is closer, and I can tell you used up alot of your mana in this fight."

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
Miho was tempted to fight back but, truth was she had indeed used a lot of her mana on those electric attacks, and she was bit tired. Sighing, she resigned herself to going along with her servant's plan. "Alright, Fujiko. Lead the way, I'm right behind you."
She glanced back at Rider and Caster for a moment, then shrugged. the two of them together could handle themselves and catch up in a bit. Walking to the edge of the roof, she lept off, this time slowing and stopping her fall with a mumbled chant and spell, and waiting for Fujiko on the ground.

Fujiko followed her master off the roof, jumping down without the aid of magic however, landing down in a crouch. Quickly she drew a magic circle, a trap to prevent the butler from following them. It would cause anyone who passes it to walk endlessly without going anywhere, thus was the power of illusions. Of course those Servants with magic resistance would not be effected.
"This way," She said as she stood back up and walked ahead.

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
Show off. She watched Fujiko land then create a trap, arms crossed across her chest as she waited. She hated to admit it, but her servant was skilled, probably moreso than herself. Thank goodness he was, mostly, on her side. As she started walking, she quickly caught up to walk next to her, glancing over at her couple of times before just settling on looking ahead, humming softly and impatiently waiting for them to get to her house so she could explain.

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
Soon, they arrived at Fujiko's home. This would be the first time Miho would have been here. When the servant girl opened the door, the first thing she heard were the thuds of her brother and sister's feet as they rushed down the stairs and tackled glomped their older sister. She stumbled back slightly but managed to keep her balance as the two children clung to her.
"Fuji-nee... we couldn't find you..." Mai said looking up with tearful eyes.
Her brother mirrored Mai, "Yeah, we were worried Fuji-nee."
"Uh huh, Tai was really scared, Fuji-nee!"
"Was not! You were the one that was scared, Mai!" He protested, releasing Fujiko and glared at his twin.
Fujiko sighed, patting the two on the head, "I'm fine, I'm fine, I just went out for some fresh air, when I ran into Ojou-sama. That's all."
"Ojou-sama?" The twins said in unison as they took their time to finally notice Miho. "Isn't that the mean dragon lady who bosses you around, Fuji-nee?" Taichi asked innocently.
Fujiko gave him a stern look, "Tai, what have I said about being rude to guests, now apologize."
"Sorry..." Taichi mumbled looking down.

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
Miho had walked in right behind Fujiko, so when the children had slammed into their older sister, she had to take a quickstep back, her hands lifting instinctively like she was going to catch her servant if the children had hit her a bit too hard. She allowed herself to relax when she saw that Fujiko had kept her balance, and moved over to the side a bit, out of the line of fire.
As the family talked, she let her eyes wander around the house. It was certainly much smaller than she was used to. It was.. quaint. Cute, even. She was distracted for the time being and only turned to look back at Fujiko and the children when she heard her distinctive title.
And then she was referred to as another not-so-known title, but just as distinctive for her. "Mean.. dragon lady.." she repeated, her expression going from bewildered to irritated in two seconds flat. Her eyes flickered to Fujiko, raising an eyebrow, curious if she had been the one to teach the children such a fun term. Huffing, she looked back at the kids, adjusting her stand and crossing her arms. She was irritated, but not much. They were just kids after all, she supposed.
"Yes, I'm the 'mean dragon lady', though I prefer the name 'Miho'. Hello. I'd heard that Fujiko had younger siblings.. it's.. good that I finally get to meet the two of you." Well, as long as they stopped calling her names.

Akihiko meanwhile added finishing touches to food before bringing it to table. He placed food at presenting spot's where could pick what to take. Some being spicy and some not so spicy. "Help yourself.." He said giving plate to Archer, before taking himself.

"It's very nice to meet you Miho-san," The girl said pleasantly, nudging her twin brother to do the same.
He crossed his arms and looked away as he mumbled, "Yeah, yeah, nice to meet you..."
Fujiko shook her head at the twins, but otherwise said nothing about it. "It's late, you two should head to bed."
"But Fuji-nee..." The two complained at the same time.
"No buts, you want to grow up to be nice and healthy right? Then you should get your sleep."
The twins for the second time that night grudgingly headed to bed. Fujiko waited until they were gone, before she turned to Miho, "If you'll follow me into the living room, I'll explain all of your questions."

"It's nice to meet you two as well," she said, smirking slightly at the young boy's greeting. It reminded her of herself. "Good night."
She watched the kids head off to their rooms for a moment before turning her attention back to Fujiko. "Cute siblings. Almost makes me jealous," she admitted, the smirk still on her face to make it seem like she was joking. It would be nice to have a sibling, she guessed. Someone closer to you than most anyone else. Oh, well.
"Alright, Fujiko. Right behind you." She waited for Fujiko to head off into the living room, then followed behind her.

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
Once they were in the living room, Fujiko motioned for Miho to take a seat while she walked over to a table. She picked up the stone she had before, but this time it was not glowing, and tossed the stone to the ojou-sama. "That's how I knew you were in danger, I put a ward on you to let me know of things like what happened earlier."
Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
Miho walked over and took a seat in the chair that Fujiko motioned to, sitting with one leg crossed over the other. She watched the servant girl walk over to a table and grab some sort of stone, catching it with both hands as she tossed it to her. Holding it on the palm of her hand, she raised her eyebrow at it as Fujiko explained.
".. you had me.. tagged?"
She made a face. Like an animal. Still, it was useful, she supposed. At least it only seemed to respond to danger and couldn't literally track her.
"Useful, Fujiko. Good work. A little odd, but it was very efficient."

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
The dragon roared as Rider made it jump up high and to the side, landing on the other side of the house he had just attacked.
Rider noticed his master leaving with the 'other servant' and wondered if he should just retreat with her now she was safe. He needed a plan of attack on how to beat this Berserker, since brute force so far has just pissed it off.
However, Caster was here now, and he should make use of that, especially since it was him who attacked and he hated retreating so much, "Oi, Caster. Can you get the sword out of his hand?" If the sword was gone, there'd be no real threat to fight up close.
However, Joshua knew there'd be trouble fighting two servants at once and no master to kill as they ran off. He was not foolish enough to follow after them when one could cast illusions. He knew he had to run, but Berserker was already riled up. This would be the first fight for them as a team, and he didn't like the way Berserker would react to it ending with a retreat. He also knew it'd be utterly foolish to attack a servant. He'd done some research on the past Holy Grail Wars...
"Berserker!" Joshua shouted, and he put some of his prana to him to make him lose even more of his mind, make him even stronger...

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
Caster sighed irritability. "I could, but that wasn't what I was ordered by my Master to do. we were told to retreat, not continue the fight, Rider. If I don't get you to come along, your Master when come after you, and my Master will get irked at both her and me. So, c'mon! She wasn't about to deal with more wrath from her stoic Master and her dear Ojou, oh no. she was hoping this would get her out of patrol, so she needed this heroic idiot to come along.
Sighing, she watched Berserker circle them. his slamming against her barriers was getting irksome. Fine. Rider wanted the sword gone? She'd take care of it, and nail that idiot Berserker with a blast to the face. Holding out a hand over her spellbook, which hovered infront of her, she smirked. "Let's see how you like my Gospel of the Witches, Berserker." Holding out both hands, she released two bursts of flame, one headed for Berserker's sword hand, and the other directed at hsi face, the one toward his face aster to distract him from his hand.

Both bursts of flame hit on Berserker, he stopped moving on his place standing still as the smoke from flame was covering his face and kept tight hold of sword even thou the another burst was aimed at his hand. Two gleeming red lighs glowed at area where eyes were through the smoke as the Berserker lost some of it's will when Joshua gave prana.
Berserker raised his sword before stabbing barrier with it using both of his hands, roaring like bewildered beast. Sword slowly going through the barrier, but slowly. As Berserker get growling and pushing the sword.

"Tch," Rider looked at Caster with a deadpan look, "Uhm, try harder this time? We would be smart to remove this threat early,"
He then turned to the barrier that was being pierced, "This guy doesn't give up..."

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
How irksome. She'd forgotten how thick-skinned a Berserker could be. Oh, well. That just meant she'd have to literally blow him away. "Oh come on now, Rider. Don't give me that look. You know perfectly well i can do better than that. Don't start berating me, or I'll kill you eventually." Smiling pleasantly, she rolled up her sleeves and held out one hand, causing magic portals to appear near Berserker's arms and legs, shooting out chains that would wrap around them and force his limbs to spread out. Another portal opened and wrapped chains around the sword.
Cracking her knuckles, she grinned. "Now, then. What to use. .what to use.. I know!" She shoved both hands forward, causing a strong force to shoot out that would feel like a massive fist punching him in the head. Twirling a finger, she pointed at Berserker's hand, a volt of electricity shooting out and BBQing his hand, while with her other hand she sent out another strong force to his stomach.

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
Fujiko nodded at this. It was good that Miho didn't disapprove of it. It made her job a lot easier with that stone. It would have been troublesome if the ojou-sama had told her to dispose of it.
"I have my own question, Ojou-sama," Fujiko said after a moment, "Why did you go off so recklessly like that? Was it because of what Caster said?"
--
"Yeah food!" Archer said eagerly as she dug into the spicy food.

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
Miho held the stone back out to Fujiko, keeping it balanced on her open palm. She was still surprised that Fujiko had thought to make something like this, or at least pay attention to it when it wasn't her shift. She was pondering asking her when the other girl interjected with a question of her own.
"Your Servant does have something to do with it, yes. She has a point, I can't just sit around and wait, that'd make my being in the War useless. My goal in life is to get the Holy Grail and that's about it, so I decided to start early." she sighed. "As you saw, it didn't go so well. That boy was skilled in teleportation and wind magic, nearly killed me twice."
She shrugged it off. "So basically, yes and no. Taking matters into my own hands seemed to be the quickest route."

Fujiko took the stone back and frowned slightly at what her master said. However, it didn't last as she went back to her neutral expression, "Ojou-sama, you shouldn't went off to fight alone. You only played into Caster's hands."
She sighed as she placed the stone on the table once more, "Next time, at least ask me to accompany you, even if my shift is over, you should not hesitate to call on my assistance."

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
"Well, I know that now, so I don't need to be told it again," she huffed. After all, she did almost die because she rushed into battle. She was even less in the mood for a lecture than usual. I'll be more careful next time and try to stay out of the way during fights, alright?"
that reminded her of her own question. "Speaking of that, Fujiko. I have another question. If it's no longer your shift, why do you bother? Why go to these lengths? She frowned slightly, honestly confused by it. "I mean, you may be my servant, but you're still a Master, so you could easily go after the Holy Grail yourself and just let me rush off into danger."
"I'm just not quite sure why you care."

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
"I..." Fujiko began to say, but paused. Why did she feel the need to go to such lengths? Was it merely because she was getting paid? Was it all just because of that? Or was there something else?
She cleared her throat, continuing what she was about to say, "I... made a promise to your parents to protect you. I do not go back on my word, Ojou-sama."
She cleared her throat, continuing what she was about to say, "I... made a promise to your parents to protect you. I do not go back on my word, Ojou-sama."
Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
"Tsk. Well if it's just about promising to my parents, they don't care anyway." She honestly believed that. Her parents did one thing and one thing only during her childhood, and that was groom her to be a magus worthy of getting the Holy Grail. If she failed at that.. well.. she'd lose her purpose.
"I'm sure they'd still keep you on even if I died. It'd probably be a better deal for them, since you seem to be a better magus than me. Heck, you could probably take Rider from me if I died.. so it'd be better for everyone. You'd definitely get the Holy Grail that way, and I'd get a break." She smirked and leaned back in the chair slightly, closing her eyes for a moment and taking a deep breath, then opening them and looking at the ceiling.
"If I don't get the Holy Grail, I'd be better off dead anyway." It was said as a fact, and she didn't sound sad. Just.. resigned.

Reflexively, her hand smacked against the other girl's face. Fujiko herself was surprised that she had done such a thing, that she had slapped her Ojou-sama. But hearing her talk like that.... it made something in her usual stoicism, snap.
She stared down at her master hard, making it clear that she we was not pleased at all with her words. Her voice trembled slightly as she spoke, very much unlike the emotionless girl people were used to seeing, "Never... never say those things again..."

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
She'd been surprised a few times in her life, but Miho was pretty sure she had never been this shocked before. She didn't register what had happened until she felt the sting on her face, and her hand went up to touch her cheek, on which a red mark was forming.
".. ow," she said, her voice soft, bewildered. Looking back up at Fujiko, she wore the expression of a confused child. She wasn't sure how to react. Not only had she hit her.. but now her servant seemed.. quite upset. Her brow furrowed a bit, and she lowered her hand before standing up swiftly, her expression unreadable beyond the irritation shown by her scrunched eyebrows. she raised her hand again, and she looked conflicted in whether she wanted to hit her back or try and comfort her somehow.
This was downright weird.

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
Fujiko was not looking at Miho, no her gaze was cast down as she clenched her fist. She could feel herself trembling, she had never been so out of control of emotions like this before. Why had it made her so mad? And why did she feel a wetness on her cheek? Was she crying? Fujiko had not remembered ever crying, not since she was a kid.
"I-I don't want Ojou-sama to die..." She said in a soft voice still keeping her head down, "And I never want to hear Ojou-sama say she'd be better off dead..."

Re: Fate/Stay Night RP
Miho's eyes widened as she watched Fujiko, her hand lowering as she shook her head in disbelief. Her dear servant was.. having an emotional breakdown. She didn't even think she was capable.. but she realized that was a silly thought. She may not outwardly show her emotions much but.. she was still human. The fact that she was crying over her, though, was probably what made it the weirdest. Her irritation and self-pity were gone.. and now she just felt like she wanted to help.
Taking a step forward, she seemed conflicted for a moment before she reached out and wrapped her arms around Fujiko, giving her a hug and lightly rubbing her back. "A-Alright, Fujiko.. I'm.. ah.. sorry. I'll be more careful and never say those sorts of things again, okay? Ehm.. there, there."
