Pokemon Stadium

A brand new Stadium has opened up! In this stadium, we have every type of battle imaginable.

You can choose what type of battle best suits you and your chosen opponent. Or you can enter the random battle generator to be set up with a battle by the "Lord of the Stadium", Mr. Poke Man.

Remember! If you win six times, you get a special prized Shiny Pokemon!

Let the battles begin!

With the opening of the new Stadium in the flourishing new city, Clair knew this was the first step in attaining her dream. By her side was her companion Hypno, who, like her, seemed to be in awe of the vast Stadium as they stood in front of the building, staring up at it, the bright Spring sun glaring off of the windows. "So this is it.." The girl spoke, causing her Pokemon to look over at her.

"After all our training, this will be the place where we show off our skills. Are you ready, Hypno?" The bipedal Pokemon seemed to smile at his master, or more his friend, and nodded. Clair smiled back and reached up, lightly stroking the Hypno's mane. Then, she and her companion walked toward the enterance, pausing and waiting for the doors to slide open before they stepped inside.

The announcer of the Stadium, a tall and lanky man with official looking clothing and black hair with green eyes, raised his microphone.

"HELLO AND WELCOME LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! This pokemon Stadium is the work and pride of Mr. Poke Man! The battles that shall be had here will be of the utmost of the strongest and most powerful pokemon in existence!" Crowds cheered loudly.

"The first battle of the day! The first battle of the Stadium! Shall be a two-on-two between four total strangers! Let's get ready to Battle~!"

"Two-on-two, sound's interesting." Rept said as he listened announcer, picking his pokeball and talked to it.

"You ready Scept? Let's show e'm how the reptile pokemon trainer fights." He said, Pokeball shaking couple times in his hand. smilling for the positive movement he placed Pokeball back under his hoodie.

Rose smiled happily as she approached the battlefield. She had a feeling she'd be in the first battle...

The announcer spoke once more, "The teams will be like so:

Reptel and Salsa
VERSUS
Rose and Clair!"

The stand the announcer was standing on rose into the air as lights came on, revealing a large flat-stadium with a simple Battlefield design.

"Trainers! Take your places!"

Rose smirked. Her partner had a hypno, and one of their enemies was grass type. The fight will be a lot of fun.

Reptel walked up to battlefield, taking his place crossing his arms while waiting others."So soon..." Reptel felt bit nervous but tried to keep his cool. tapping his foot against ground.

Almost as soon as she entered, a battle began, a two-on-two, including herself. "Hm.. they certainly don't beat around the bush here. I like it. Come on, Hypno." Clair patted her Pokemon's shoulder before the two of them walked out onto the battlefield as well, the Hypnosis Pokemon swinging it's pendulum slow back and forth as he prepared himself.

Clair stepped into her place, looking at her partner, who the announcer said was called 'Rose'. "Hello. It's nice to meet you Rose.. it looks like we'll be partners for this battle, so let's.. kick their butts, shall we?"

Rose smiled, "Yeah, let's do it!" She said, smiling as she threw her pokeball forward and a large Venusaur came out.

Salsa and her Infernape, Tango, ran and ran. They were late, so freaking late. God, she needs to learn to stop getting distracted with live performances for crowds. Okay... maybe they haven't started without her. Maybe she still had time. Salsa pushed open the arena doors and ran to her place, Tango coming up behind her.

"Hah... sorry... I'm here now..." Salsa panted trying to catch her breath from all that running.

"well, it's good that you made it here. Now, come out Scept!!" Reptel said throwing pokeball foward. Relesing grass pokemon Sceptile from it's ball. he catched the empty ball as Sceptile get ready clawing battle ground twice.

The announcer cleared his throat, "Alright! With everyone here, we can BEGIN THE BATTLE!" He waved down a small flag, signalling the fight.

(Sceptile goes first!)

Rose, "Alright Venusaur, do your best!" she said, cheering on her pokemon.

"Scept use Slam on Hypno!" Reptel yelled out his command, as soon as Sceptile heard the command he charged toward Hypno, performing Slam move.

Slam does 83 damage!
Hypno has 197 HP left!

(Infernape goes next!)

"Tango use Work Up!" Salsa told her pokemon. Infernape pumped both his fists into the air, letting out a cry as he felt his power grow. Salsa would not attack immediately. She would pump up her pokemon's power before delivering it's devastating blow.

Tango's Attack: 287 Sp. Attack: 287

"My turn! Go Venusaur, use Toxic!" Venusaur used Toxic on Scept.

Scept is now Badly Poisoned!

"Hypno! You'll alright, a slam like that won't stop you!" Turning to look across the battlefield at her enemy, she pointed at the Infernape. "Hypno! Use Hypnosis!" The Psychic Pokemon approached the Fire/Fighting ape, walking in a slightly staggering fashion as if to confuse them, while at the same time swinging the pendulum from side to side. Waves of psychic energy came off of the object and headed toward the Infernape.

"Hypnosis didn't affect Tango!" Cried out the announcer.


Scept's turn!

"Scept! Hang in there buddy!! i got to finish this fast so i can take one of them down at least....Leaf storm on Hypno! Scept!!" Reptels Sceptile summoned out storm of leafs which headed at Hypno's way.

Leaf Storm hit!

"Hypno is unable to battle!" The announcer calls out.


"Tch," Rose was now a little scared for her Venusaur. She had a type disadvantage left to deal with, and no partner...


(Tango's turn!)

"Tango, this is it!" Salsa said, glad her teammate had taken care of Hypno before it could try another hypnosis, "FIRE BLITZ!"

The ape pokemon was then surrounded in a blazing fire as it did a charging tackle right at Venusaur. With increased stats and type advantage, the blow was sure to be devastating to the pokemon.

The fire struck Venusaur head on, and Venusaur cried out in pain.

"Venusaur is unable to battle! It's a One Hit Wonder!" Cried the announcer.


Rose cried out, "Venusaur! Oh dammit, return!" She called it back, sending it back to the pokeball.

"Salsa and Reptel are the winners! Congrats on being the first to win in this new Pokemon Stadium!"

Well so much for 'kicking their butts' and 'showing off their skills'. Clair didn't even have time to react before her Hypno was unconscious on the ground, and the battle was over. Clair sighed heavily and walked over to her wounded Pokemon, lightly stroking his head. Good job, Hypno. Return." She held up a Pokeball at the last word and the Psychic Pokemon was returned inside it.

What a disappointing start. She looked over at Salsa and Reptel and nodded her congrats, before going over to her own partner and giving her a sheepish look. "Sorry, Rose."

Rose shook her head, "No problem, I suppose," she looked at her pokeball, sighing.

"Even my Venusaur couldn't win. This Stadium is tough," She looked at her partner Clair, "Why don't we go to the Pokemon Center together? I'll treat you to some food," She smiled as she reached for Clair's hand.

"Scept good job, return." He said calling back his pokemon back to it's ball. Reptel felt worried about Scept since it got badly poisoned. He always felt uneasy when something like this happeed to his pokemon. "Nice match, i would love to stay and chat. But Scept need's to be take to center. I'm worried. Congrats on your first victory." He said offering his hand for shake.

"Yeah.. I thought Hypno and I were strong.. but that was rough." She looked down at the Pokeball containing Hypno and frowned slightly, lightly rubbing the smooth surface with her thumb.

"Ah.. that does sound nice.. but I'll pay for myself, of course..." Her sentence trailed off when she saw Rose reaching for her hand. She wasn't sure whether to pull away or not.. so by the time she had come to a decision, Rose was already holding her hand. Giving into it, Clair blushed, embarrassed about holding hands with a girl she just met.

Rose smiled warmly, figuring it'd be normal for her to hold her hand, "That's fine, you can if you want to," She led the way to the pokemon center.

"Ah crap!! Scept!? got to go!!" Reptel said now clearly panicking and ran off to pokecenter.
