Welcome to Pokemon Academy! Pokemon Academy is an school where aspiring trainers can hone their skills in preparation for various Pokemon-related careers. At the end of your school career, you will receive a Trainer's Licence and may go into a further kind of training for certain careers. The teachers are all respected members of society and amongst them are several highly respected figures in the Pokemon world.

The island is home to many species of Pokemon, including some which are exceedingly rare. Nearby towns offer the students the chance to socialise and compete outside their social circle, as well as gain employment or gather supplies unavailable in the Academy shops. Students are advised to not go into certain indicated areas, however the safe areas are more than enough for the aspiring Pokemon master.

The school encourages individuality and insists upon students taking up at least one hobby. Written exams do not comprise the entirety of a mark, with a 70/30 split, practical and written respectively. The practical aspect is again split, this time 75/25 between battling and an aspect of the students choice respectively. Students will be educated in a manner which suits them and allows them to reach their fullest potential.

Every term there is a tournament, and the Academy also plays host to a super tournament at the end of the year featuring Pokemon Trainers from across the world. Exceptional students may be allowed to participate.

There is way too much for this guide to the school to include. Perhaps not all the Pokemon in the areas have been discovered yet. Perhaps not all the areas have been fully explored. And perhaps you will be the one to find out.

I control levelling in an entirely arbitrary manner.

You earn EV points when you level up.
I have a calculator for catching Pokemon. This will also be done on the battle client.

You can level up all your party Pokemon by five levels every 2 weeks in RP by going to the Stadia or Training Grounds next to the dorms.
The password to the online communication centre (Pokemon Online) is RedBlueGreen.

History: A native of Pallet Town, Blue was kidnapped by an unknown, flying Pokémon when she was only five years old, on the orders of the Masked Man. She was taken to a Secret Hideout in the Hoenn region, where the Masked Man began to train her as one of his underlings. A few years later, the she escaped from the Masked Man’s Hideout and eventually came under Professor Oak's care.

Personality: Gold is a mischievous young man. Words like common sense and maturity are foreign to him. He's always getting himself in some sort of trouble and tends to act without thinking. He's a bit of a pervert and it's not uncommon for him to have a nice red hand mark on the side of his cheek. His favorite things to do is to gamble, skateboard and eat plenty of food.

History: Gold has always grown up around pokemon. Living in a house full of them, this house being called the Poke House, it was only natural that he'd end up becoming a trainer. With the deep bond he shares with pokemon and dreams of being a pokemon trainer, he decided to join pokemon academy.

History: Daughter of a Pokemon trainer. Won the tournament in her region that allowed her to have first pick of the three starters. Picked the snivy.

Personality: Cool-headed and aloof, Green can train Pokemon very well and knows when to draw the line and what his priorities are. He's intelligent and has great skills of deduction. Despite being calm, he is not immune to provocation.

History: Green was raised by his grandfather, the illustrious Pokemon researcher, Professor Oak, and his sister, Daisy, a renown Pokemon Co-ordinator who is loved by many Pokemon and specialises in grooming and beauty contests. He went to Johto with his grandfather to assist with research. In Johto he trained himself and as such he has some martial arts skills.

Personality: Though he's really a good person at heart, Ruby is pretty vain and shallow, always putting emphasis on outward appearances, so much so that he dislikes pokemon battles because it gets his pokemon dirty. However he legitimately cares for his pokemon and his friends and hates to see them get hurt.

History: Son of Petalburg Gym Leader Norman, Ruby once ran away from home because his father didn't approve of him joining pokemon contests. After an incident where he battled his father at the Weather Institute, Norman finally approved of him being a Coordinator. Ruby's hobbies consist of knitting, sewing, and photography, which he doesn't hesitate to show off.

Personality: Spunky, intelligent, and quite athletic. She loves pokemon, but is more of a researched then a trainer. Whenever she catches a new pokemon for her party, she gives them a sticker or pendant in the shape of a star, unless they already have a natural star mark on them.

History: A girl from Violet City known as the "Capturer" for her exceptional skill in catching pokemon. When she was a girl, she got both her arms broken but that resulted in her learning to kick pokeballs to capture pokemon, a habit which she retained. She's assisting Professor Oak in completing the Pokedex.

Personality: The calm, cool, and collected type. At least at first glance. He does have a hidden soft side he reserves only for his pokemon and the person he looks up to, Blue.

History: He was the same as Blue, being kidnapped as a child and raised by the Masked Man. Both he and Blue escaped after many years under Masked Man's thumb. It did not come without advantages though, for Silver now has a special skill to trade, being called the "Exchanger" because of it.

Personality: Yellow is very naive, and believes that no pokemon should get hurt, whether its hers or someone else's. Because of this, she tends to manage to not hurt her opponents' pokemon. She's very intelligent and skilled, but is very modest and generous. She can get very determined, however, and won't give up on her goals no matter what.

History: Yellow is a young girl from Viridian Forest that looks like a little boy. One day she meets a boy who teaches her the value of pokemon and now goes to Pokemon Academy in search of him. Since her birth, she's always had the ability to heal pokemon through touch, and to read the minds and emotions of pokemon as well. Because of this, she is like a walking Pokemon Center. She also has low level telekinesis that allows her to navigate a pokeball at the end of a fishing rod.
