Candy smiled as Lyra hugged the doll. It made her more happy than she would have admitted to see that her gift was recieved so well by the person she liked as much as this. She giggled a bit, not able to hold it back.

Then she realised what she had said. Any gift from her... no, it must have been the usual flattery as she is the princess... no, not from Lyra. She was more down to earth... not necessarily more honest, but she wouldn't have said such a thing so casually just because she's the princess.

She decided to wave away such thoughts since they were really quite pointless. They were friends after all, and such thoughts about a young elf... a young female elf when she was expected to provide an heir, well... nothing about it would be ok. And she highly doubted that Lyra felt the same way back.

Medieval: A Side Story - Page 2 Empty Re: Medieval: A Side Story

Milano hugged her knees to her chest as she watched Alice leave. She wondered what in the world had happened why she was passed out. Why Alice had been petting her like so. It was then she realized there was a faint scent on her clothing. It wasn't exactly unpleasant, but still it might be best to change. It must have been from Alice... carrying her she supposed.

Moving over to the side of her bed, she got up and headed towards her clothes drawer, throwing off her shirt. While shirtless and in nothing but a bra, she shuffled through her clothes looking for her spare maid uniform.

---

Lyra continued to hold the doll. It made her heart soar knowing the princess had done something like this for her, a simple elf who lied her way to the castle. Maybe Lyra should feel guilty about that, but she didn't. She would have never gotten to know the princess as she did if she had not lied so convincingly. "Princess, what shall we do now?"

Candy thought for a moment, "Oh! I know!" She smiled really big, "In return for the doll, how about you help me with my flute playing? We could go to the forest and play together," She loved doing this with Lyra.

Medieval: A Side Story - Page 2 Empty Re: Medieval: A Side Story

As Alice was arriving at the bathing room, she suddenly paused, her guilty conscience eating away at her. She didn't even properly apologize for.. practically molesting poor Milano in her sleep. It was molesting in her eyes, at least, even if it had been simple hair-petting. Deciding it would be best to go take care of that now, she dropped off her change of clothes in the bathing room to use later, then quickly headed back to Milano's room, a determined look on her face.

Unfortunately, she completely forgot an important rule of room-entering etiquette. She didn't knock. Pushing the door open, she went ahead and stepped in. "Milano, I really have to apologize for ea.. r.. li.. er.." Her train of thought screeched to a halt soon after entering. She couldn't help but stare rather blatantly at the half-dressed Milano, all the heat rushing to her face. Somehow, she also noticed the tattoo on the other woman's shoulder but..

.. that wasn't quite as important as the fact she could see so much of Milano's bare skin.

Milano 'eeped' upon hearing Alice enter, attempting to cover the tattoo with one hand while covering herself with her other arm. Her face felt like it was on fire as she blushed brighter than she ever had before. It was just her luck Alice would appear just as she was changing, "M-miss Alice... uhm.. it's okay, no need to apologize... uhm..."

---

"Alright, to the forest it is then!" Lyra said as she tucked the doll under one arm and used her free hand to grab onto Candy and pull her along.

Candy nodded, "Yes, let us go!" allowing herself to be pulled along and did her best to keep up. She didn't have much trouble because Lyra didn't try to outrun her. (I'm assuming here, sorry)

She blushed a bit at the contact but it went away quickly. It was nothing compared to the hug and kiss. Soon she was giggling as they came close to the forest.

Medieval: A Side Story - Page 2 Empty Re: Medieval: A Side Story

It took a good few moments for Alice's mind to catch up with the situation. When it did, she struggled for words, letting out started noises as she met Milano's eyes, then looked down at her body before she could stop herself, then back at her eyes again. Why on Earth couldn't she think? This shouldn't be that startling of a situation. Milano is her friend, and they're both women. She shouldn't be this.. interested.. by her bare stomach and such.

"I'm very sorry!" She said, the pitch of her voice going from soft to really loud. She stopped backwards quickly and slammed the door shut before she fled down the hallway, face red. She quickly went into the bathing room and got undressed, thanking God that there was no one else here right now, to see how red her face was.

Taking a seat on a low stool, she began washing herself using a bucket of freezing cold water to get the heat to dissipate. As her heart rate sled, she pondered on what she had seen. In a non-perverted way, of course. For a moment, she swore she had spotted a tattoo on Milano's arm. Milano didn't strike her as one to get a tattoo willy-nilly, or at all, so it seemed a little odd. She was curious if it meant something.. perhaps she'd ask later. Swallowing, the heat returned to her face as she remembered what had happened, and she quickly dumped the cold water on her head. Perhaps she'd ask much later.

Milano visibly flinched when the door slammed shut. Her whole body was burning hot from embarrassment. Why didn't she think to lock the door first? She was sure Alice had saw it. That cursed tattoo that marked her as castless. Now she'll ask questions and Milano wasn't sure how she would answer them. This was going to make this mission alot more troublesome than it should be.

As the heat in her face cooled down, she went back to her drawer, pulling out a new change of uniform. Pulling off her skirt, she quickly put her change of uniform on and headed back out the room. She wasn't going to stay there where Alice was sure to come knocking later, wanting to know about that tattoo of hers. She needed to go somewhere else for awhile, maybe see if the chief needed her to run a few errands again.

--

Once they entered the forest, Lyra pulled her in further until they reached a clearing. Off in the middle of it laid a log where they would often sit to play the flute together. Lyra happily went over to it, still holding onto Candy's hand, "So do you want to try and play something first? Afterward, I'll teach you a new song."

Medieval: A Side Story - Page 2 Empty Re: Medieval: A Side Story

After finishing her bath and changing Alice had, indeed, gone back to Milano's room. She had somehow worked up the courage to talk to her, only to find that she was gone. Honestly, she was relieved. The courage she had scrounged up quickly faded when she began walking away from Milano's door. After all that had happened, she wasn't sure if she could face Milano again just yet, even though her curiosity was nagging at her to find out about the tattoo. Milano had mostly likely left because she needed a break from Alice.. and she didn't blame her. She wasn't sure how she would live down walking in on her.

The confrontation would have to be put off for a much later time. For now, she needed to check up on the princess. Entering the princess's room she was irritated but not surprised to find her gone. That elf must have snatched her away again, like she had thought before. Alice let out a sigh, running her fingers through the back of her hair. Why did they always have to run off without telling her where they were going? Didn't Lyra understand the need for her to keep track of the princess, to keep her safe?

Candy was not merely her close friend, but her liege, the future queen, and there would be hell to pay if she let her get hurt, both internal and external. Sighing heavily, she did a quick search of the castle, determining that Candy and Lyra were nowhere to be found both by patrolling the castle and asking around. Honestly, those two acted like children half the time. She went back to her own room and put on her armor and such, grabbing her sword and holding it onto her belt, then headed out of the castle.

Candy nodded, "Yeah, I wanna show you that I got better at the last song you taught me!" She smiled big as the two sat down.

She waited patiently for Lyra to hand her the flute, explaining, "I've been practicing in my room during my spare time,"
