Hogwarts vs. Sparkles: The War Empty Hogwarts vs. Sparkles: The War

Post by GenericSpider Wed 11 Aug 2010, 9:24 pm

Years after the defeat of Voldemort, Hogwarts faces a new threat: sparkly vampires have discovered the wizarding world, and developed a taste for wizard blood.

So now, hordes of them are attacking Wizarding communities fairly frequently, and the Volturri are doing nothing to stop it (possibly because the Volturri are, in fact, a bunch of pussies).

Now hordes of them are decending on Hogwarts, expecting the school to be an easy target.

Oh how wrong they are...

The first assault had ended quickly; the vampires had foolishly attempted to come through the forbidden forest and the lake to attack, several of them being killed in the attempt.

Some had wandered too close to the Whomping Willow, and got...well, whomped.

Ten had actually gotten inside, and had been stunned and captured.

Somewhere around 500 were still outside.

So began the siege of Hogwarts.

Hogwarts vs. Sparkles: The War Empty Re: Hogwarts vs. Sparkles: The War

Post by Guest Sat 14 Aug 2010, 3:05 pm

A small mouse ran through Hogwarts grounds toward the castles side. Before the mouse was able to even reach the castle wall, from the sky, owl charged down and sinked it's talons into a mouse.

Soon as the talons were deep in mouse, the mouse vanished with puff. Leaving an owl there totaly confused over the disapearance of it's prey.

"Darn it..." Thorn said and snapped his fingers, he had sended a dozens of mouses trying to get basic layout off the castle, but every single one was either picked off by either cat's or owl's.

Leslie, who was sitting on a tree branch above Thorn's head, let out a giggle.

"Your mousey-wouseys get eaten aaaaaall the time!" she said in a sing-song voice, her red eyes almost looking like it was glowing.

What time of day is it? Because I doubt the vamps want to go out in the sun and show off their sparkly-ness... though it would be a good distraction...

~

Ash twirled his wand with his right hand and cradled his chin with left, his eyes sweeping over the Great Hall of Hogwarts school. Though it could barely be called a school now, since there were vampires camping out in the forest, attempting to break through the wards and suck every drop of blood out of the wizards and witches residing there.

This brings a whole new meaning to the phrase "this sucks".

Ash's eyes then became distant and unfocused as he wondered what would happen if the vampires won this little war. Gruesome would be an understatement, that was for sure.

(It's early morning)

Arnold waited outside of the castle, surveying his "troops"; at least half of them were simply blood-thirsty idiots; probably more.

The first strike had gone disastrously, as they hadn't listened when he'd said they should send out scouts before leading an assault. Now, however, they were listening.

"I've sent for mercenaries," he said. "Until they arrive, I believe we should talk strategy,"

Liz looked down at the vampires, calculating the numbers and formation of the blood suckers. She waited, daring them to come closer, no sooner would she see a large group, would they all be 'expelled' to the 'Whompig Willow'. Even still, without knowing how many there were out there, she really had no way of knowing how much energy she should put into each attack, so as to avoid wearing herself out. I need a man on the ground, to help repel them... it might just be better if I do it myself, everyone here would rather destroy them directly, but I don't have that kind of ability... Liz frowned to herself at the idea. It's a trivial attack, but no one else would do it, it's dangerous on the ground, no one knows how fast, or how invisible... they can be...It's just a game of waiting, and a game of gamble....'

Ross looked down from Gryffindors towers boys dormitor's window at Hogwards grounds where vampires were moving around searching the way in. " So boring....." Ross groaned while he leaned at the window. He looked at the target dummy he had build up from abandone things he had found around the castle. He pulled he wand and pointed the dummy. "Glacius!" Dummy was enveloped in ice when the spell came in contact.

---

"Well aren't you having fun?" Thorn said looking up at Leslie with grin. He snapped his finger's again and more mices appeared from grass and charged again toward castle.

Leslie grinned, bringing her hand up and blowing on it like she was blowing a kiss. Instead, a handful of snowflakes flew from her hand and fell onto Thorn down below, coating his hair and shoulders with it.

"The time of my undead life!" she chirped, flashing her fanged teeth.

~

Ash blinked and was brought back to reality. There was still a war going on after all and he was sure that one day, his drifting mind would get him killed. He just hoped that that day wouldn't come any time soon...

He tucked his wand into his wrist holster (something that was only recently available to the students since it was mostly available for Aurors and older wizards) and he rose from his seat, fancying a little walk around the castle.

He wasn't really expecting any action any time soon.

'Nother question... who's the headmaster? O.o

Liz stared into the distance, making sure that she was three steps ahead of whatever was coming her way. This was another habit she inherited from her father. After a few minutes of going through the spells she mastered and the few experimental ones, she slipped back in through the nearest window and decided to stroll through the school, if not just to analyze it once again, as if anything about the structure can change any day.

(Not sure who the headmaster is.McGonagle, maybe.)

Jack sighed as he sat in the Griffindor tower, waiting.

He wanted in to see the prisoners, but the teachers weren't allowing the students near them.

He wanted to know where these "Vampires" came from; they weren't anything like the vampires he knew, and he'd met vampires.

He sighed, his mind going over possible pranks, as he tried to resist the pranking itch.

"What's wrong Jack?, you have been awfully quiet for awhile.... Incendio!" Ross asked eyes still focused on the dummy and melt the ice with the incedio spell.

---

Thorn wiped the snow of his hair and shoulder's and watched how his summons were picked off again one by one. He gave a small sight and watched the whomping willow stand idly at the hill, ready to whomp any idiotic vampire coming close to it.

"Ya know, I'm wondering if the vampires would fancy a game of Quidditch," he said, suddenly getting a wicked idea. "I think we should give them a taste of it,"

He was grinning wide now.

"Where do we keep the bludgers?" he asked.

Leslie hopped off of the tree branch, landing softly next to Thorn.

"Why use mice?" she asked innocently, looking up at the taller man. "Why not birds or snakes? Or birds carrying snakes into the castle! Or birds carrying the mice into the castle!"

~

Ash strolled through the corridors, hands in his pockets and whistling a little tune he remembered from his childhood days. When he rounded a corner, he spotted Liz walking in his direction, analyzing things around her probably.

He lifted a hand and waved when her eyes fell on him.

Thorn stood there silently a moment looking at one idiot who approached the willow and watched him get whompped and knocked over a huge distance. "I'll give you a question in which way you'll get answer to your question." He said and knelt down to Leslies eye level.

"What would be the first reaction when snake is seen at castle?" Thorn asked lifting finger up, waiting Leslie to answer.

---

"But i'm going to need your help Jack, like i would carry it alone! so c'mon let's go already!" Ross exclaimed and rushed to the dormitors door and down the stairs.

Leslie cocked her head to the side, thinking. "First reaction would be... 'Ahhhh! A snake!' then they'll try to kill it!" She blinked and put a finger to her lip. "Or at least capture it and set it free in the wild..."

~

Ash shrugged as he stopped beside Liz. "Oh, nothing much," he said. "Just waiting for another strike on the ol' alma mater. THey sure are taking their time, those weird vampires."

" The first one is correct, snake's moving around castles corridor's is way too suspicious, resulting them to kill snake's. Let alone birds carrying snake's toward castle make's it evenmore suspicious."

And if some of those owl would see a bird carry a living mouse. Owl's would no doubtly assault the bird and try to stel the mouse. And bird's can't exactly move around castle without getting lost. So that leaves only our small furry friend here" Thorn said and lift hand which had small white mouse on it.

"The most common animal in the castle's. No doubt that there are mouses running around the castle. They propbably won't pay mind if they see a mouse running around." Thorn explained and flashed his white fangs along with grin. He put mouse on the ground and watched it to make a brave charge toward castle.

---

Ross ran past the spot where Liz and Ash were having their conversation and gave creepy laugh sametime, paying not mind to Liz and Ash he vanished around the corner toward Madam Hooches office.

Liz frowned. "I already have a plan, but thanks." Liz hated 'spur of the moment' schemes, if she was ever going to do something, it would be planned well in advance. Last minute decisions are acceptable, but This so called idea of his is not even close to a decision, it's an impulse, not to mention, totally predictable... "Nice knowing you though, try to take out at least one vampire before you're devoured."
