Eternal Sonata RP

Alana nodded, taking Jabberwock's word for it. "All right, please wait here while I get some dinner," she said, packing away her first aid kit.

She left the room and went downstairs for food. She didn't have that much money left, meaning she was going to have to get another job soon, but it was enough for two bowls of hot stew. She carried the bowls back up to the room and handed one towards Jabberwock.

The coyote-eared creature had drawn his weapon onto his bed, and was meticulously cleaning it. He looked up as the bowl of stew was offered, and took it with a small thanks.

"When do you wish to leave come morning? The sooner we are off, the more ground we can cover..."

"Well, I usually get up before dawn because I like to watch the sun rise," Alana said as she ate her stew. "We can leave then, if that's all right."

She finished her stew and set the bowl aside on the table. The innkeeper would get it in the morning, once they checked out. Yawning in exhaustion, Alana removed her shoes and any other unnecessary items from hr person and crawled into her bed.

"Good night, Jabberwock," she mumbled tiredly before falling asleep.

Jabberwock listened to the way the bandages crunched and crumbled under his feet on the road, glancing briefly at the woman walking alongside him. The sun had not even risen yet, but they had to keep going.

"Where does this road go?" He finally asked, looking back over his shoulder at the city they were leaving.
