Medieval RP: The kingdoms of Ardania and Derangia

Milano was slung onto the bed after that ordeal. She bit at her lip, keeping it from trembling. She wasn't going to cry, she wasn't going to give him the satisfaction. She didn't cry when she was forced to kill her first friend, nor did she cry her first night in the Queen's bed chamber.

She tried to push herself back up, but she was weak, tired from that man forcing himself on her. She wouldn't be able to tell anyone, no one would come save her. She'd suffer in silence as she has always done.

Lyra blushed slightly at having Candy pull her along. It was so nice to get away from that stodgy maid, now she could talk to her princess in private, "My princess, I'm flattered you want to show me to my room personally."

Alice wasn't the quickest when it came to.. sexual matters.. but she understood well enough with the maid's explanation. She placed her hand on the maid's shoulder, stopping her. "I will take care of this. For now, don't tell a soul.. I don't know how this should be handled quite yet. You probably need to relax after.. seeing such things.. so I will give you the rest of the day off, alright?" Her expression was grave, but she tried to at least give the maid a reassuring smile.

Once that was done with, she didn't waste any more time. She was practically shaking with anger as she reached Sir Gawain's room, pushing the door open roughly, tensed up to fight. She didn't see him anywhere, though.. but she did she Milano, and her expression went from anger to worry as she quickly rushed over. "Milano.." Asking her if she was alright would be pointless, considering the circumstances. "I will get you some help right away." Seeing her fellow maid and new friend in this condition increased her anger, though she swallowed it down, trying to stay calm for Milano.

The maid nodded, watching her off. She hoped to herself that Milano was alright....

Gawain was in the cafeteria, drinking a beer. He didn't have his armor on since he was just relaxing. He was thinking about the war right now. What kind of fighting there'll be... from the inside he could wreck this castle and make it easy for the enemy army to get in. It's about the only reason he didn't already leave to enjoy the pleasures of Derangia.

"No!" Milano cried suddenly, grabbing onto to Alice's uniform. Alice had came for her and she was happy for that fact alone, but she could not let her tell anyone. No one should know this happened. It would jeopardize her mission and reputation among the people of Ardania. No, she couldn't let anyone know, it was bad enough Alice had seen this, "Please... don't tell anyone... no one can know. Please Miss Alice, I'll be fine, just please don't tell anyone."

Alice looked shocked at Milano's quick refusal, frowning somewhat. "I can't just let you sit here in pain, Milano..." She gently sat down next to Milano. "I won't tell anyone the circumstances if that is what you wish but.. we have to get you help regardless." As she spoke, she had started shaking again, looking furious. Sir Gawain.. he didn't even deserve the title anymore. "Since you're so against it for now, though, I will take you to my room. He won't come after you there.. too many people coming in an out of the servant's quarters."

Standing, she got a clean blanket out of the nearby linens closet and walked over to Milano, wrapping her up in it, then gently scooping the other woman into her arms bridal-style. She most certainly did not want to leave her in this room any longer, after all. "If anyone asks on out way there, I'll just tell them you fainted from lack of sleep, or something along those lines." She quickly carried the other girl back to the servants quarters and into her own room, laying her on her bed.

When Alice lifted her up, her heart tinged with warmth. Someone was taking so much care in her, no one but her own brother had been this caring towards the young woman. And even then, her brother could only join her in their suffering silence.

When she was placed on Alice's bed, she grabbed onto the other maids sleeve, wanting to say something before she left, "Thank you, Miss Alice..."

Alice smiled down at Milano, clasping the other woman's hand. "It's my pleasure, Milano. Now get some rest, no one will hurt you here, I swear it." She gently squeezed Milano's hand before laying it down on the bed. "I will come back and check on you later. Don't think our conversation about getting you help is over, either." She then turned and left the room, giving Milano a reassuring smile before she closed the door.

And now.. it was time to pay a visit to Sir Gawain. Striding purposefully down the hallways, she questioned any other maid she saw about his location, until she found out he was in the cafeteria. By the time she reached the dining area, she was furious, hands clenched at her sides and her teeth gritted. Spotting Gawain, she started walking faster until she was sprinting, and she then slammed as hard as physically possible into him, sending them both flying forward and crashing into a wall.

Gawain had his beer up to his mouth when he saw a blur moving towards him. His trained eyes quickly realised who it was, but not in time for him to react. He went flying with her in tow until they hit a wall and went right through it, fall down from the second story.

They fell into the training grounds, crashing through dummies and nearly hitting one guy who quickly ran away scared.

"uhhhnnn...." Gawain groaned a bit before shaking his head. He looked at the girl's face. He knew her too, she was that stupid maid who thought she could be a 'knight' just cause she can swing a sword and she's kinda strong.

He then looked at his bottle. It had shattered of course, and he was just holding broken bits of glass, which had cut into his hand.

"You wasted my beer..." He said, absent mindedly a bit. Being part Giant, and being a well trained knight, he was hardly aware of the pain in his back or hand. He looked at Alice, his face kinda neutral, "Now why would you go and do a thing like-" He slapped her right in the face, sending her flying a bit, "-THAT?!" Some of the broken bits of glass would be in her face now and he smiled at the thought. Her giving him a reason to beat her... how marvelous.

"Is this everythin Winnie???" Connor asked trying to hide the despaired tone in his voice as he picked up Winnies Luggage. He had also his own backpack plus the broom sticking through his backpack.

Alice quickly decided that tackling him like that had not been the best idea, considering landing on him on the ground had knocked the wind out of her a bit, but it had been rather satisfying at the same time.

Sitting up, she glared back down at Gawain. She'd never liked him much, even if he had been a good warrior he was never a just or moral knight, but now she had a real reason to despise him. He was a disgrace, and she wanted nothing more than to gut him. She knew it wasn't really proper for a maid to do such things but.. right now she didn't really care.

She reached for her sword but, before she could even grasp the handle, the man's hand hit her across the face with enough impact to send her flying back, crashing through a weapon rack and going skidding across the grass. She laid there for a few moments in pain before she was able to push herself back up, spitting saliva mixed with blood on the ground, as the glass had sliced up her cheek and mouth, leaving shards embedded in her skin.

Reaching up, she pulled the larger shards out, ignoring the pain beyond flinching. She wasn't going to let that stop her. Letting out a furious yell, she charged forward, drawing her sword and slashing at Gawain's face and chest, before making a kick at his stomach.

Gawain laughed as he saw her face, "Look at that, your cute little face ain't so cute no more,"

He saw her dash forward and pull her sword, which only made him laugh. He was big, but he didn't lack speed too much. He pulled his head back, then pulled back his whole body with a slight jump. Then he was kicked in the gut, and he was sent flying a little distance.

He coughed up a little blood, and smirked, "So it's true then, you aren't completely useless in battle," He pulled his massive sword from it's sheath, and it was much longer than the sheath itself.

He pointed it at Alice, daring her to come forward. He decided to have fun with her. She clearly was outraged about something, and it made her all the more interesting in his mind. He wouldn't kill her, he'd just.... 'handicap' her.

He guessed that, seeing as she WASN'T From derangia, she was probably still a virgin. Of course, he had no idea how he would hide that he raped her. Maybe a threat to her life....

Alice ignored the insult, not caring much for appearances at this moment in time. She could feel how badly she was sliced up, though, and she was certain it wasn't a pretty picture.

Seeing him cough up blood cheered her up a bit, glad she was able to get a pretty good hit on him. Reached up, she wiped off of the blood and sweat off of her face, before getting into a battle stance.

Unafraid, Alice charged at him, letting out another yell. In her rage, she wasn't thinking clearly, and she didn't bother to try and defend herself, instead attempting to smack Gawain's blade out of her way and keep going.

Gawain laughed. He pushed back on her blade with his own, and found it wasn't quite so easy to push her back. However, as strong as she was he was pretty damn strong too, and he ducked down a bit for extra leverage and pushed back, the effect of which he expected to push her back completely, maybe even dropping her to the ground.

Winni nodded, "Yup that's all~ See it's not that much! Just five bags, and they all have only the essentials, like food and camping gear," She smiled as she turned away. What a relief to not have to hold that. She headed back towards the Castle.

Jack heard a scuffle outside, and went to take a look. HIs curiosity and the lack of soemthing to do getting the better of him. What he found were two people fighting. He watched quietly and decided right then that no matter what, he wouldn't join.

Alice grit her teeth, putting all of her strength into pushing back against Gawain, but it wasn't enough. She was sent off-balance and hit the ground. Quickly, she tried to get back to her feet, digging her sword into the groung to use as leverage, hoping to get out of the way of Gawain's next attack.

Gawain laughed, his face now full of pleasure, "I'm enjoying this!" He said loudly as he slashed at her sword, intending to break it and send her back to the ground.

While her sword didn't break from the impact, it was sent flying as Alice lost her grip. "Bastard.." She said softly, speaking for the first time during the battle. Pushing herself to her feet, she seemed unbothered by her lack of weapon, now attempting to punch and kick anywhere she could reach.

Gawain smirked, "Finally you say something.... heheh," He smiled as she tried to punch him and he grabbed her fist. "You know you lack any real skills," He put his sword away into it's sheath and punched her in the face without letting go of her arm, ignoring any punches and kicks she threw at his body, though he did position himself so she couldn't kick him in the balls.

Wonderful. Now one side of her face would be badly gashed the the other would be bruised. The punch caused her to go limp for a moment, head lowering as she became dizzy from the force of the impact. Letting out a noise that sounded like a growl, she continued trying to hit him anywhere she could when the pain subsided enough for her to focus. She wasn't going to let this bastard get away with that she did.. he'd have to kill her first.

Gawain let out an "Umph!" As one of the hits got his kidney and he dropped Alice.

Alright, now he was getting angry. "Why the hell are you fighting me?!" He asked, kicking her in the gut.

Lily, meanwhile, had been watching the fight from hiding.

Enough of this; I don't think she's going to win this one. she thought, as she teleported to the queen's location.

"Your majesty, Alice is fighting the fuck-ugly half-giant guy, and she seems to be losing," she said.

Alice felt her breath escape her with a whoosh as she was kicked in the stomach, causing her to drop to her knees. She spat out blood and clutched her stomach, glaring up at Gawain as she breathed in hard, trying to catch her breath. "I don't.. have to.. explain myself.. to you.. you bastard.." She wheezed out between breaths. She got up again, her legs shaking at she stood. Pulling back her fist, she put all the energy she had left into a punch directed at his face.

Gawain was surprised by the speed of the punch. He thought he'd disabled her by now. She was a very stubborn woman...

The fist made contact with his jaw, creating a satisfying crunch as one of his teeth cracked.

He slid on the ground, and got up, spitting out some blood. "Fucking wench..." He stood up, and came at her full speed, knocking her to the ground, before stomping on her leg, bending her knee sideways. "Don't get back up this time," He said, and smirked, "You should tell me why you're here," He said, bending over and looking her in the face as she lay there. He eyed her figure, visually undressing her. Oh yes, he would have fun with this one...

Alice staggered forward after him when she hit him, fully intending to continue hitting him. She rubbed her hand, which hurt from the strong impact, but it was still a satisfactory feeling.

She wasn't expecting him to come at her so quickly, and she only had time to take a step back before she was suddenly on the ground. her eyes went wide as she felt her knee turn and her bones snap, causing her to scream out int pain and writhe, one hand digging into the ground. Panting hard, her face was contorted into an expression of pain and hate.

As he leaned over her, she spat blood and saliva on his face. "I'm not.. telling you.. anything.." His expression made her feel sick and caused a chill to run up her spine, her leg still throbbing, or more searing, with pain, and she was unable to get up.

"Right on it, Lily," Marie said as she placed the glass of wine away and ran out the room. "Lognia, we're gonna have to post pone those drinks for now!"

Just as Gawain was bending over to look Alice over, a magically powered kick hit into the side of his ribs from behind. The man was sent flying away from the maid. Revealing the one to have kicked him to be Marie, the beloved Queen of the kingdom. "Don't you dare touch my maid, Gawain," She said noticeably dropping the Sir, "Now what the hell is going on here?"

Gawain wiped the spit off his face, and was about to say something when he felt a sharp pain in his side.

Suddenly he was flying away, "OMPH! GEH!" He bounced twice before hitting a rack of armor, armor falling on him from all over.

He stood up, and growled deeply, "OH yeah, take the woman's side," He said with obvious contempt that he just couldn't hide, not even bothering to offer any proper response to the Queen's presence, "This BITCH attacked me for no reason! That's what's going on!" He said, pointing at the girl.

"M-My Queen!" Alice quickly tried to get to her feet out of habit, but just rolling over to attempt to stand made her cry out and pain, and she ended up in an awkward bowing position on all fours. She remained with her head lowered as Gawain accused her, waiting until he was done talking before speaking, her eyebrows knitted in pain.

"My Queen.. I would.. rather not discuss the details at this point in time, but I assure you, I wouldn't do something like this without a good reason." She lowered her head again, blood from the wound on her face dripping on the ground. "I apologise greatly for causing a commotion."

Marie touched the side of Alice's cheek with her hand, checking the extent of her wounds, "Tis alright Alice, I believe you. You would not attack someone without reason," She then turned her head at some of the people gathered, "Someone, go get the medics, quickly."

After that she turned to some of her knights who had been training, "You men, seize him. I don't know what he did, but I want him locked up till I get my answers."

Lily reached for her knives; she wasn't sure Gawain was going to go quietly.

She was, for the moment, quiet. She honestly had no snarky comments to add at the moment.

Gawain grunted, "So let me make sure I understand this, My Queen," He spouted, putting an emphasis of hatred into the last two words.

"You're going to trust a lowly maid over me, when she attacked me while I was enjoying a beer?" He had his hand on the hilt of his blade, clearly on edge and ready for a fight should he not like the answer.

Alice flinched a bit at her Queen's touch, smiling slightly. "Thank you for your trust, my queen." She then glared at Gawain, her anger rising up again regardless of the pain. "Have you sunk so low that you'd threaten your queen, Sir Gawain?" she spat, trying to push herself up again. She would throw herself in front of the Queen if she had to, broken leg or no.
