Cyndy seemed to freeze with surprise at the news. "...You... own it?" she repeated. "...Um... huh. How 'bout that?"
Laughing the coincidence, Cyndy continued with, "Um... okay, I'll go find 'em. Enjoy your meal, direct all compliments and complaints to - you already know, don't you?" Another giggle.

"right, Emb- er, Ami, we'll be off now." Cyndy said, gently nudging her new-found companion. "We'll leave the cute girl and her also cute sister to their food, so go time!"

"Nothing's wrong!" Shujiko announced a little too loudly, keeping her gaze on the doll that would apparently bite her. She didn't exactly believe that, but she was definitely keeping a bit of a distance now. "Absolutely nothing, so don't make up up stuff!"

flushing slightly at the realisation she had kinda shouted, continued in a much softer voice, "Th-there's nothing wrong, okay?"

"In fact," Amitiel continued, deciding to proceed further with her flirting. It might not be her best decision, but she had to try, didn't she? After all, it'd work some day! She just knew it! And maybe, just maybe, it would work on this girl. And maybe the delivery girl, too. "You're sexy, too!"

Amitiel smiled. That was sure to win her over, right?

Hisako frowned. Such an outburst in response... clearly, this was proof that something was wrong. She sighed, sucked on her lollipop a little more, before withdrawing it from her mouth. She wasn't quite sure what to say in response to that, but she figured that winging it might get her some good results. Hisako did, after all, want to figure out what was wrong.

"... You wouldn't have yelled like that if everything was fine," she replied. It was a normal assumption, upset outbursts generally came from people who were upset.

"Well. Bitch." Dremlin turned on his heel and walked away. There had to be someone better to mess with, anyway, because anything would be better than the lightning-bitch, as Dremlin would now call her.

"Emi-chan, what's taking so long?" Keiko asked, straining to try and see out of the doorway, "Does the delivery person not believe us? Umm... the paperwork's in our bedroom!"

Emiko sighed, suspecting that her sister was just out to try and get visitors. Well, if that was the case... "I guess that you two had best come in and stay for dinner. It's a good thing we ordered enough that there would be leftovers for tomorrow..."

With that, the younger twin walked inside and went to find the documentation.

Sariel blinked a few times, studying Hisako intently from the other side of the store. This girl... she couldn't die; wouldn't die unless cause and effect were utterly reversed. The Throne of God, fully powered up, might be able to manage it, or the combined efforts of all the archangels, but otherwise she was impossible to kill. Fortunately, she wasn't the atemporal eldritch abomination the angel had been worried about, though.

Satisfied that the patron was safe, Sariel went back to browsing and took down a kitten-like toy from the shelf. So soft... what did it do, though?

Cyndy glanced at Ami, trying to decide if she had heard that right. Did she call their customer 'sexy'? Was... was that okay? It might be seen as harassment, and since Cyndy was the superior - clearly! - she would take the blame for any insubordination! And she said it to the owners!

...Huh, must have misheard after all, seeing as they were now invited to dinner. Temporarily forgetting she didn't want to see disappointed expressions, Cyndy stopped to contemplate.

"Uh, well, er... I dunno, is that really okay?" The dragon girl asked uncertainly. "It's... really kind of you, but I might have other orders to deliver, and, um..." Cyndy glanced at the limbless girl in the house. "We... wouldn't want to be in the way."

Aw man, why did Hisako have to pursue this? It was complicated enough as it was, why did the cause of her emotional turmoil have to pry?

"I-I'm shouting because you're making such a big deal out of it!" Shujiko protested, losing volume control again as she tried not to look the pretty girl in the eye. Shopping bags gripped tightly, she babbled on, "It's none of your business! A-and you have nothing to do with it, so stop pretending you are! I'm completely fine!"

Blinking once in surprise, the beginnings of a red blush crept into the dragon boy's cheeks as he was complimented. Still, his overall face didn't change. "Thank you for the compliment, Mistress." He stated with a small yet slightly pleased tone. "Is there anything you would like to order today?" The boy asked, giving a small smile after the sentence.

"Bye, Neko-saaaan," the Carefree Witch cheerfully replied to the insult as she headed away from her. Perfect, that little bit of trolling had gone well. She'd definitely gotten the shapeshifter angry, and really, that had been her goal from the start. Messing with people was so fun, especially when they tried to mess with you, first!

She headed down the street.

Her flirting had worked! Grinning, Amitiel nodded. "Awesome!"

She headed right into the shop. Maybe she'd even get to kiss them all by the end of this. That'd be great! Taking off her shoes, Amitiel looked around the apartment. A free meal was coming out of this, too, so clearly this was going to be great.

Briefly feeling like she was being stared at once more, Hisako turned to look over her shoulder. There was another girl at the opposite side of the shop... she was wearing a traditional kimono, just... out shopping like this? Well, it was pretty, but a little odd...

Hisako's full attention quickly returned to Shujiko. She was yelling a lot now, something was definitely going on. Even if she had no idea what that was.

"I'm not making a big deal out of it, Ishi-san," she said, frowning, her expression concerned. "I didn't think I had anything to do with it, you're my classmate, I was a little bit concerned is all."

Maybe pursuing this was a bit too much effort. Hisako's normally lazy disposition was starting to get the better of her.

"I'm Keiko!" the girl on the floor said cheerfully, looking away from her program for a second as Emiko passed by and started rooting around in their bedroom for the paperwork. They hadn't had to provide it for anything for a month or two and, given the younger sister's lack of bureaucratic ability, it would likely take a while to find it after getting past bills and the like.

Looked like they were going to have dinner. Well, that was fine... Cyndy entered, taking off her own shoes as well, facing the limbless girl as she introduced herself.

"Hi. I'm Cyndy." The dragon-girl repeated with a small smile. "So... you own Kei's, huh? Must be fun?" She said at an attempt at normal conversation with this girl. She hoped it wasn't too painfully forced, but this was somewhat unusual for her.

"Ah... well..." A flustered Shujiko muttered, feeling more and more self-conscious. The rational part of her mind pointed out how stupid and hostile she was being to Hisako, while a much larger part of her mind kept accusing the girl for deliberately being insanely attractive and messing with Shujiko's head. That wasn't nice.

"...Just stop teasing me like that!" Shujiko blurted out before fleeing from the shop, face now bright red from indignation and embarrassment.

The limbless girl... Amitiel felt bad for her, but she seemed cheerful enough. So, really, there wasn't too much of a problem here. "Heh, you're cute too. So, what're you watching?"

Amitiel turned to look at the TV... was fire involved? She liked fire.

A lot.

"Wait... but... I..." Hisako trailed off, watching after Ishi as she ran out. That... what had just happened? Hisako was at a loss. She really was. Well... she'd been starting to feel that trying to figure out what was wrong wasn't getting anywhere, so... she'd ask her again, next time she saw her. That would be fine. Hisako stretched and yawned again, before placing her lollipop back in her mouth and taking another look around the store.

Dremlin really, really wanted to turn into an attack helicopter or a tank and just obliterate her and everything in the surrounding area, but he had enough self-control to know that was probably a bad idea. He settled for storming off grumpily. Turning a couple streets, he looked around for a new target... was that a guy in a dress? He was pretty sure that was a guy, and he knew that maid getup was Dutch, having been there in his travels.

Grinning like a madman, he walked over. "Hey, you lose a bet, kid?" He asked, chuckling.

"Kannazuki no Miko," Keiko replied, turning her eyes back to the screen. It was the first episode so, as a result, things hadn't yet gotten into the general mind-screwing that would characterise the later parts of the series. Nope, for now it was all mecha and stuff!

Now that the normal person had left the shop, Sariel felt secure in asking the proprietor about her wares. Specifically, what did the little plush doll of a cat do... and if this was a front for some extradimensional threat to reality.

"You weren't here yesterday," the angel tacked on.

"You noticed," said Aki, cheerfully. "That must mean that you're a magic user; or a magical creature of some sort,"

In her mind, a customer who was unaffected by the telepathic field equaled a customer who was there to buy magical items. Or possibly one that was there to ask for custom made magical items.

"In case your wondering about the plush kitten; it's one of my less interesting creations," she said. "It just causes any attempt on the owner's life to fail,"

Cyndy glanced at that show Keiko was watching with a tilted head, having not really heard much of this one before. Then again, since she currently lacked a TV, it seemed kind of pointless reading much about it then bemoaning the fact bills too priority over awesome stuff. Maybe she should ask these girls for a pay rise? She'd proven her hard work in the last... what. two days she'd been working?

No, wait, once they open those boxes I'll be paying for it myself. Cyndy realised with horror. ...Well, maybe there's nothing wrong with the food at all! I only shook it up a little bit! It's my first mistake! I really want my money~!

"...So, this show any good?" Cyndy asked Keiko with a slightly nervous smile.

"Mecha!" mecha usually meant there would be explosions, and explosions involved fire, and they were awesome. Amitiel's attention was immediately drawn to the television. She plopped down on the ground, eagerly awaiting any action to come up.

... Magic...?

Eyes narrowing slightly, Hisako took a step back, vanishing behind one of the shelves. That was suspicious... normally, anywhere with magic wouldn't be so open about it. It was a secret, after all. Just who was this...?

She listened closely, but remained behind the shelf.

The Carefree Witch regretted that she had not stuck around to troll that shapeshifter a little longer. Now she was bored! There was nothing much to do, at all. There was no body who she could safely troll with magic here... although she supposed trolling them normally would be fun, too.

It was about then that a certain flustered high school girl plowed right into her.

"Uwaaaah!" the Carefree Witch was sent tumbling to the ground, in a heap.

(OOC: Hoe that wasn't too much to say, Roxas, but I figured giving Shujiko someone to interact with would be a good idea.)

Mysteria grinned at the cute boy (she now knew he was a boy because of what her brother said; Mystyk was always better at gender identification) and resisted the urge to pinch his cheeks.

"Well, if you'll be our server today, we'd like some cake and iced tea, maybe an ice cream too," she said. She didn't need to ask Mystyk what he wanted, they knew each other well, being twins and all.

Ryoichi walked by the maid boy, and smiled and waved. He had seen him before, though never quite so popularly surrounded by people. He came to this cafe often enough, it was his favorite place to hang out and try to chat with various ordinary people.

He had never caught the boy's name though, not one to bother someone who's on the job, but today seemed different with everyone surrounding him. He considered going over to say hi and maybe find out why he enjoyed dressing as a girl despite being a guy. Wasn't really his thing.

He ended up walking over rather casually, "Hey there, what's all this about?" He was smiling, and had his hands in his pockets.

Lost in her internal monologues and laments, Shujiko didn't notice the girl in front of her until she found herself collapsing on top of her, bags of shopping spilling onto the ground as she hurriedly threw her hands forward to prevent herself from face planting. Well, luckily, she managed to keep her face away from the girl she'd ran into, but now Shujiko was kind of worried.

Swiftly, Shujiko clambered away from the other girl and tried to help her up, bad mood forgotten. "Hey! Hey, little girl, you okay? I'm really sorry, it was an accident!"

The Carefree Witch was, for a few moments, completely senseless when she was knocked down. However, she quickly recovered, and pulled into a sitting position by the girl, wincing as she was, before being completely pulled to her feet. She rubbed the back of her head, still wincing.

"Ow..."

Finally, she opened her eyes and got a good look at the girl who had knocked her over. The girl was a teenager, and she seemed genuinely apologetic. Therefore, the Carefree Witch wouldn't be as harsh if she decided to troll her.

For the moment, though...

"That hurt!"

Well, the little girl seemed somewhat pained, but otherwise fine. Shujiko gave a quick glance at her scattered shopping. Aside from a carton of milk that had a hole scraped onto one side and was now gushing its contents everywhere, everything else was wrapped up and salvageable. It was going to be a pain gathering it all back up, though...

Shujiko's attention returned to the girl when she complained of pain, and the teenager looked worried and guilty as she tried to think of a way to console.

"I...I'm really sorry!" Shujiko repeated. "Uh, er... can you walk? I'll..." Shujiko began rooting through one of the bags, finding her purse lying with very few remaining bag-mates. With a quick check inside, Shujiko turned to the girl and said, "Uh, I'll get you a lollipop? Or an ice cream... or, well... something?"

"I did not lose a bet, this is to repay someone's hospitality." Spring stated with a bit of a frown towards the slightly rude person. "In any case, it's just work. Nothing more." This response was directed towards the curious bystander.

Then hearing the order, the dragon smiled once more. "Yes, Mistress." Nodding once in affirmation, the boy in the dress led the twin customers inside the smallish cafe towards a seat.

"Hey! New customers!" An excited shout came from within the kitchen as a redhaired gaijin peered out through the doors. Nodding once, Spring flicked a paper airplane with the order written upon it through the service hole. Holding a thumbs up, the girl got to work on the order.

Once done, the rather smallish English girl dressed in a black dress skipped out with the desserts and drinks, a happy smile on her face. "First time customers get it on the house. After all, we need people to know how good our fare is so we can get them to come again!~" Anna stated, a huge grin on her face.

The Carefree Witch looked up at the teenager for several more moments. While she was distracted, she rolled her left sleeve up quickly. The skin had torn on her elbow, and shredded, leaving a nasty, bloody scrape... Her sleeve had flopped back when she fell, and she'd managed to get it. Well... she might plan on messing with this girl, but there was no point in making her feel any more guilty then she already was. And she wasn't paying attention at the moment...

The Carefree Witch held her right hand below her left elbow. A faint, blue light manifested in her hand, and then spread to the scrape. The skin knitted itself rapidly back together, leaving not even the faintest remenent of the scrape. She dropped her sleeve back down just before the teenager turned to face her again.

The teenager seemed pretty upset about this, the Carefree Witch noted. Clearly, she was right in taking steps to ensure that the girl wouldn't feel as guilty about this. Besides, trolling wasn't really about making people feel really guilty. That was just mean! Also, the teenaged girl was offering her snacks in an attempt to make up for knocking her over. That, clearly, was the most important thing.

"Ice cream?" she asked, "Ice cream-chan is really tasty! That sounds great!"

The Carefree Witch decided that she might not troll this girl at all.

"Umm... well... not entirely mecha! There's yuri and stuff too!" Keiko said happily, turning back to the screen. It was certainly yuri; there was even a kiss in the first episode! Admittedly, this was more her sister's genre than hers, but she didn't mind it in the slightest.

A few seconds later, Emiko came back in with a bundle of papers and shoved them in the delivery girl's hands before she actually moved on to inspecting the food. It... was a mess. Fortunately, it was the sort of food that would've ended up in an amorphous pile anyway and the younger sisters set into splitting it into roughly appropriate portions on the plates. More for her and the delivery girl than her sister and the child, for a start.

"No use to me, then," Sariel replied with a sigh, "Anything that can pierce my defences as they stand now would overwhelm whatever enchantments you placed on the kitten. Do you have any clothes amongst your stock? This kimono attracts too much attention; I fear I have been away from Japan for far too long."

"Yuri?" Cyndy repeated curiously as she watched this Miko thing. She certaibly didn't expect things like that on this show. Was this the kind of stuff Keiko was into?

Around about that time, Emiko gave her the paperwork, and Cyndy quickly scanned it. Not that she doubted their word, but...
"Well, at least I know you aren't scamming me!" Cyndy laughed, turning to face Emiko, where she saw the state of the food and looked nervous again. "Um... I swear that never happens! I just... uh, tripped."

As if she was gonna blame Ami for the food's state. Well, seeing as she wasn't getting yelled at or fired, all was fine, but she didn't want to give the impression all her deliveries ended up like this.

"Ice cream...chan?" Shujiko repeated with a tilt of her head. "Well, sure. Just gimme a second..."

After a moment spent reclaiming her lost items and re-bagginf them, Shujiko sighed at the loss of the milk. "Okay... let's go get that ice cream, then." She said. "Ah! Wait, you aren't hurt or anything, are you? I kinda plowed into you really fast, didn't I...?"

Girls kissing, explosions, mecha, fire, this show had it all! Amitiel leaned closer to the screen, extremely eager to see what else was in store. There was bound to be lots and lots of the kinds of things that she liked, if this is what was being shown so early on. "This... is awesome!"

"It only hurt for a minute," the Carefree Witch cheerfully replied. After all, there were no injuries any longer, so that was fine. Besides, the ice cream was more important at the moment. Ever since the Carefree Witch had her first taste of ice cream, it had become one of her favorite things ever. Injuries that were no longer there anyway paled in comparison to ice cream.

"Now... let's go get ice cream-chan!"

"Pretty weird way to repay hospitality." Dremlin noted. He would have ordered something, but he didn't eat. Ever. Indeed, changelings needed no food nor water, so he was really only there to mock everyone in the immediate vicinity.

"So hey, twins. Lemme guess, you can read each other's thoughts?"

Ryoichi followed everyone into his favorite cafe, shaking his head slightly at the general group while smiling, "This should prove fun," He said to himself.

He took a seat at a separate but nearby table and made his order, just some tea for now while he decided on if he wanted something to eat.

He introduced himself to the twins once they had sat down, "Hello, my name is Takenaka Ryoichi, I'd prefer if you used my Given name, Ryoichi. May I ask your names?" He also fully intended on figuring out the name of the 'maid' soon.

Oh, there was another boy here as well. He gave a wave as he waited for the names of the twins, because he surely didn't want to be rude.

"Well, we have clothes; but none of them are inconspicuous," said Aki. "Actually, I do have SOME clothes but..."

She pointed to the clothes rack; where several costumes were hanging.

"Those might be inconspicuous if you're heading to a cosplay convention," she said, shrugging her shoulders.

Both twins ignored the rude man who taunted the boy in front of them, but when the maid boy answered Mysteria's question, said girl grinned even wider.

"Oh wonderful!" Mysteria giggled, not able to resist clapping her hands. It was her first time to be in such a place after all and she was quite excited.

Mystyk followed his twin into the cafe, though his eyes slid to the redheaded boy that came in after them. There was something about him that was different. Of course, there was something different about that crossdressing boy too and that other rude guy. He was sure that his sister sensed it as well, considering the seemingly casual glance she gave him, but he said nothing. He would just wait to see what will happen and if these people were a threat.

Hearing the rude guy's inquiry, Mysteria said, "No we can't-"

"-read each other's minds-" Mystyk put in, playing along with an old trick.

"-but we can-"

"-do other things-"

"-that may not seem normal," Mysteria finished with a flourish as she sat down at a vacant table. Mystyk took the seat next to her, eyeing the rude guy with distrust.

Their orders arrived quickly and Mysteria looked impressed at the display. "Ah, free food! Awesome!" she exclaimed as she took a sip of her iced tea. "We are definitely coming back here again if they go to so much trouble!"

Mystyk couldn't help but give a small smile at his sister as he too sipped his drink, his eyes sliding back to the redheaded boy at the other table who had just introduced himself. Really, there was something... well, not off but just different about him, something that neither twin had encountered before.

"Oh, well nice to meet you Ryoichi-kun!" Mysteria chirped with a smile. She was glad of the translation spell that she cast on her and her brother. It made communication so much easier. "My name is Mysteria Mydyrn."

"Mystyk Mydyrn," her brother spoke up after a little nudge.

"We're new in town, just getting ourselves acquainted with the sights ya'know?" Mysteria said as she took a bite of her cake. It was very sweet and moist and she loved it.

"Huh, really?" Shujiko asked with a raised eyebrow. "You're pretty lucky, then. Tough too, I kinda... expecting you to be crying or something..."
With a slightly nervous laugh, Shujiko quickly continued, "A-anyway, ice cream! I hear a nearby cafe sells some good stuff!"

Leading the young girl towards said cafe, it occurred to Shujiko she should at least introduce herself. "Ah, my name's Shujiko Ishi, by the way. Nice to meet you."
